Ahtisa Manalo gives off queenly vibes on Mega magazine's June cover
Ahtisa Manalo is a total queen on the June cover of Mega magazine.
On Instagram, the fashion magazine shared the cover of their Trendsetters And Trailblazers issue where they honor the personalities "who define what's next and dare to do what hasn't been done."
In the cover photo taken by photographer Mark Ducay, the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 donned a pink sculptural gown by Jaggy Glarino and jewelry pieces from Jewelmer.
'She fell—but she rose poised like royalty,' Mega wrote in the caption.
'Midway through her evening gown walk at Miss Universe Philippines 2025, Ahtisa Manalo hit the floor with just one instinct: get up. And when she did, the cheers shook the room. What could've broken her became the very moment she claimed the crown. A queen was born,' the magazine added.
According to Mega, the cover story will follow the rise, fall, and reign of Ahtisa.
After three attempts, the beauty queen from Quezon Province was finally crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 early this May.
She will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025, which will take place on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Camille Prats says she initially didn't want to do viral sword fight scene in 'Mommy Dearest'
Camille Prats and Katrina Halili's sword fight in 'Mommy Dearest" went viral on the internet, but Camille admitted that she was initially hesitant to do the scene. In Tuesday's episode of 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,' the Kapuso actress shared that she did not want to do it because she did not understand the need for it. 'I said it, why do we need to do this scene? I feel like hindi naman siya kailangan talaga sa away namin,' Camille shared. However, she added that the production team explained to them that the scene was an effort to make viewers talk about 'Mommy Dearest." 'They explained to me na it's an effort talaga, 'yung scene na 'yon is really created para mapag-usapan siya,' Camille said . 'Kasi ako gusto ko magkaroon ng parang anong pinanggagalingan ko in my character for me to do this. I also want to take into consideration as an audience. How will the audience take this?' According to Camille, she reflected on her character Olive's internal turmoil to do the scene. 'Tapos parang na-realize ko na lang na siguro si Olive naman sa sobrang cuckoo 'di ba? She will do whatever. Sabi ko sige 'yon na lang magiging motivation ko bilang si Olive naman eh talagang may something sa isip. Mukhang wala naman siyang aatrasan talaga, so let's do it,' she said, adding that they had to ask some of the production staff to leave so they could avoid laughing while doing the scene. She playfully shared that due to the sword fight scene, some people have taken to calling her Olive-Wan Kenobi, a reference to the 'Star Wars' character Obi-Wan Kenobi. The viral sword fight not only had netizens in stitches but Ryza Cenon as well, who posted a hilarious reaction to the scene. 'Mommy Dearest' follows the life of Mookie (Shayne Sava) who tries to navigate life despite her serious illnesses since childhood. However, her overprotective mother, Olive (Camille), refrains her from going out and discovering the world, making Mookie seem like a prisoner in their own home. Aside from Camille, Katrina and Shayne, the series also stars Winwyn Marquez, Dion Ignacio, and Amy Austria, among others. CJ Opiaza officially crowned Miss Grand International 2024
CJ Opiaza has been officially crowned as Miss Grand International 2024! The emotional Filipina beauty queen wore a breathtaking green and gold gown by Filipino designer Mak Tumang during the grand coronation ceremony on Tuesday in Bangkok, Thailand. CJ was crowned by MGI founder Nawat Itsaragrisil and raised her hand in victory. 'I know best things happen for a reason. You just have to wait for that very specific moment, but you have to hold on and do whatever it takes. Before I signed up for this job, I knew I was born ready.
