Riley Keough to Star in Albert Serra's English-Language Debut ‘Out of This World,' Exploring U.S.-Russia Rivalry Amid the Ukrainian War (EXCLUSIVE)
Serra's English-language film debut, 'Out of This World' follows an American delegation traveling to Russia in the midst of the Ukrainian war to try to find a solution to an economic dispute. The project explores the decades-long rivalry between Russia and the U.S. While it will mainly shoot in English, it will also include some Russian dialogue. Kristen Stewart was previously attached to star in the movie.

'Out of This World' is being represented internationally by Alice Lesort's sales team at Losange Films, Charles Gillibert's auteur-driven sales and production boutique which is a sister label to CG Cinema. The feature, which marks Serra's eighth film, is produced by Les Films du Losange, Idéale Audience Group and Andergraun Films in association with Felix Culpa and in co-production with Rosa Filmes and Forma Pro. Les Films du Losange will also be distributing 'Out of This World' in France.
'We are very proud to be boarding Albert Serra's new film — his very first in the English language,' said Lesort who described him as 'one most inventive filmmakers of his generation, with previous works that are both powerful and marked by rare cinematic audacity.'
'The idea of this encounter with Riley Keough is something we're truly passionate about,' Lesort said. 'she is an actress of great intensity, capable of portraying complex characters with rare precision, and her sensitivity brings extraordinary depth to every project.'
Serra last directed 'Afternoons of Solitude' which won the Golden Shell at San Sebastian last year. Keough will next be seen in Karim Ainouz's 'Rosebush Pruning.'
Gillibert's CG Cinema is at Cannes with three movies across the official selection, notably Bi Gan's 'Resurrection' in competition; Kirill Serebrennikov's 'The Disappearance of Josef Mengele' and Kristin Stewart's 'Chronology of Water' in Un Certain Regard. Coming up at fall festivals, CG Cinema will present Alice Winocour's 'Coutures,' starring Angelina Jolie, and Jim Jarmusch's star-studded 'Father, Mother, Sister, Brother.' Losange Films, meanwhile, represents four Cannes films internationally, 'Resurrection,' 'Chronology of Water,' Nadav Lapid's 'Yes' and Tony Gatlif's 'Ange.'

Ozzy Osbourne's family wants to ‘wait a bit longer' before airing documentary, BBC says
The BBC has offered an explanation for its recent decision not to air a documentary about late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. In a statement to BBC News on Tuesday, the British broadcaster said it opted to hold back the documentary centered on the musician's final years out of respect for Osbourne's loved ones who are still mourning the Black Sabbath frontman's death. Osbourne died July 22 of a heart attack at the age of 76. 'Our sympathies are with the Osbourne family at this difficult time. We are respecting the family's wishes to wait a bit longer before airing this very special film,' the BBC said, adding that it will confirm a new air date 'shortly.' BBC turned heads on Monday after it pulled 'Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home' from its programming lineup before it was supposed to air later that evening. A BBC spokesperson confirmed to several outlets that the film 'has moved in schedule' and that the broadcaster would confirm details about a new air date 'in due course,' but did not provide a reason for the pivot. Osbourne, who lived with Parkinson's disease, died two weeks after his farewell concert at his hometown of Birmingham, England. The BBC announced its documentary on Aug. 7, revealing that 'Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home' would chronicle the English rockstar's final years, from his health issues to the preparations for his grand finale. The documentary was filmed over three years and also features Osbourne's wife Sharon Osbourne and children Kelly and Jack Osbourne. The pair also have another daughter together: Aimee Osbourne. The documentary started out as a series, then titled 'Home to Roost,' but evolved into a one-hour film due to the rocker's deteriorating health. 'We hope it brings comfort and joy to Ozzy's fans and viewers as they remember and celebrate his extraordinary life,' BBC Head of Commissioning, Documentaries, Clare Sillery said in August. Osbourne was laid to rest in Birmingham during a private funeral last month. A public celebration of Osbourne's life preceded the burial. Thousands of Black Sabbath fans honored the musician's legacy as his hearse, followed by his wife and children, made its way through Birmingham, the Associated Press reported.

Denshattack! is a blend of Tony Hawk, trains and shonen anime
Denshattack! is what happens when Tony Hawk trades in his skateboard for a high-speed Japanese train. Yes, you read that correctly. Denshattack! is the latest game from Barcelona indie studio Undercoders, and it's a delirious, high-speed action experience complete with flow states, a banging original soundtrack, flamboyant characters and coming-of-age drama. Players attempt to keep their train moving while jumping, wall riding, spinning, landing tricks and nailing combos. Between the rail-hopping action, there's a fully voice-acted story (in English and Japanese) about overcoming oppression and finding your true friends. It's a wacky mix of ideas, but it all comes together in a Jet Set Radio type of world that looks like a real thrill. Undercoders is based in Spain, but the studio founders have spent a lot of time backpacking through Japan, visiting the trains specifically. In a virtual briefing ahead of Denshattack! 's reveal at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, director David Jaumandreu and his team couldn't stop giggling about how much they loved trains, and it was all fairly adorable. Denshattack! is due out in early 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and it'll be available day-one on Game Pass. It features music from lead composer Tee Lopes, who's best known for Sonic Mania , Sonic Frontiers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge , and additional artists from video game music label Kid Katana will contribute to the soundtrack.
