Firing at Elvish Yadav's Gurugram residence: ‘More than a dozen rounds fired' — Video

A firing incident was reported outside Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav's residence in Gurugram, Haryana, early Sunday, August 17. Gurugram police said the incident took place between 5:30 am and 6 am on Sunday.
'Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram's Sector 57,' Sandeep Kumar, PRO Gurugram Police, told news agency ANI.
He said, 'More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing.'
Elvish Yadav lives on the second floor of the house in which the firing took place, police said.
'Teams of Gurugram Police are present at the spot. According to the investigation so far, this incident was carried out by three persons riding a motorcycle,' the Gurugram Police said.
Meanwhile, YouTuber Elvish Yadav's father, Ram Avtar Yadav, claimed that three miscreants fired around 25–30 rounds at their residence in Gurugram.
He said, 'The police administration is doing its job well. Our family was present at home when the firing incident happened. I was asleep when it occurred. We believe the police are working properly. Around 25-30 rounds were fired. In the CCTV footage, three miscreants can be seen, out of which two are clearly visible.'

'NHAI has taken strict action on the incident of misbehaviour with army personnel by toll staff deployed at Bhuni Toll Plaza on Meerut-Karnal section of NH-709A on 17th August 2025. NHAI has imposed a penalty of Rs 20 lakhs on the toll collecting agency, M/s Dharam Singh and has initiated the process of terminating and debarring the toll collection firm from future participation in toll plaza bids," NHAI posted on X. Vehicles were also stopped whose drivers were holding and using a cell phone while driving, in a manner that endangered them and other road Highway 44, a vehicle was measured using a laser speedometer (LSM) at an excessive speed of 192 km/h, instead of 90 km/h. The driver's license was revoked, and the vehicle was taken off the road due to serious safety deficiencies. Another vehicle was measured at 144 km/ addition, a driver was arrested after an inspection found that the wheel of the vehicle he was driving did not match the type of vehicle and there was no replacement wheel. The vehicle was taken off the road and the driver was fined a total of one thousand shekels.'These offences pose a real risk to the driver, passengers, and other road users, and increase the risk of an accident and its severity many times over," said the police. Agency: Gurugram, Aug 18 (PTI) A Nuh-based accountant was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife and children and firing a gunshot in the air during a domestic row, police on Monday said. They said Satender, 45, had been suspended for truancy from the post of accountant at the panchayat department in Nuh. At the time of his arrest, he was posted in Tauru of the same district. A licensed revolver, another licensed gun, two empty shells, and four live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Satender, a resident of Sector 39, Gurugram, was produced in a city court on Monday and sent to judicial custody, police said. According to police, on Sunday, they got a distress call from a woman, who alleged her husband had threatened to kill her and their children and fired a shot in the air. A team rushed to the spot, took possession of the gun, and booked the man at Sadar Police Station 'During interrogation, the accused revealed that his wife and children did not listen to him, and the children did not study well. Due to this, he often fought with them," a spokesperson of Gurugram Police said. On Sunday, a fight broke out between the couple, and Satender brought out his gun and fired it, he said. 'The licence for the weapons was obtained by him in 2000. He has been sent to judicial custody," the spokesperson said.
