Kapil Sharma-hosted The Great Indian Kapil Show recently made a comeback, with its OG permanent guest, Navjot Singh Sidhu, returning to his seat. However, the latest promo of the comedy show does not feature the former cricketer.
The second episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 is all set to host the team of Metro In Dino including its stars Konkana Sen, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher and director Anurag Basu. The promo started with the stars dancing to a romantic tune in pairs cutting to Kapil Sharma revealing an observation of his own. The comedian is heard saying, 'In Fitoor, Aditya (Kapur) worked with Katrina (Kaif), and she got married. In Sadak 2, he worked with Alia (Bhatt), and she got married. So, Sara… maybe,' hinting that she might also end up tying the knot soon.

Kapil Sharma then curiously asks Fatima Sana Shaikh, 'Considering how your film characters keep getting abandoned… what kind of boyfriend are you actually looking for?' She replies, 'Aap Jaisa Ko (Someone Like You),' indirectly promoting her Netflix film with R Madhavan scheduled for streaming on July 11.
In the promo, Pankaj Tripathi is heard confessing, 'I have only ever romanced one woman in my life. She's now my wife.' This garnered applause from the audience including Archana Puran Singh. However, what caught people's attention is an empty seat beside her which is designated for Navjot Singh Sidhu.
The promo then introduces other characters of the show Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover. The cast also plays a dramatic game of musical chairs, leaving the audience in splits.
The new episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 is all set to stream on Saturday at 8 pm on Netflix.

Last Updated: Anurag Basu revealed that Pritam has a habit of making minor tweaks in his song beyond the deadlines. Director Anurag Basu recently made a revelation about music composer and his frequent collaborator, Pritam. In an interview with IANS, the filmmaker revealed that Pritam has a very 'scary' habit of making minor tweaks in his songs beyond the deadlines. Anurag said, 'It's really scary at this stage of post-production of the film, he keeps adding stuff, saying, 'In the background I'll add this, I'll add that'. He becomes so possessive with every song, every piece, everything". He further praised Pritam's sense of detachment, which kicks in the moment a song is released. 'After release, he's gone. But till then, you think he'll drive you crazy. He'll drive you crazy. And he spends money like crazy on producing songs, musicians sitting in Prague recording for him and somebody in Miami recording for him, but once the song is released, he moves on to the next one," the director added. Earlier, Anurag Basu mentioned that Metro…In Dino belongs more to Pritam than him. The filmmaker said, 'Metro…In Dino is more of Pritam than mine. When you see the film as a whole you will understand how music is so important for this film. It's like a thread. A string to tie everything together". When asked how both of them create superhit music consistently, the director said, 'It just happens. We have very similar choices of everything. From food, music to everything.
