Hugh Grant does 'the most Hugh Grant thing ever' by falling asleep at Wimbledon
In Wednesday's action none other than Queen Camilla watched over play on Centre Court as Novak Djokovic booked his place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Earlier this week, the likes of Roger Federer, James Anderson, Sir Ian McKellen also graced the Wimbledon grounds.
But for British acting royalty Hugh Grant, it appears a front-row seat to what is widely considered the best tennis tournament in the world was… a little boring.
Hilarious footage appears to show the Love Actually star dozing off during the first set between Djokovic and his opponent Flavio Cobolli.
Despite the set reaching a thrilling tiebreak, it appears it was not enough to keep Grant awake.
Writing on X, many tennis fans saw the funny side of Grant's subtle snooze.
@_eastafricanbih commented: 'The most Hugh Grant thing a Hugh Grant could ever Hugh.'
@elrorre added: 'Hugh Grant is my spirit animal.'
@sofignzalez also said: 'This is the most Hugh Grant thing he could do.'
Meanwhile, @albeertobrr said: 'Hugh Grant fell asleep during today's Wimbledon broadcast. Unique.'
Let's just hope the Queen couldn't hear him snoring.
The actor was sat in the box alongside his wife Anna Erbstein as former Prime Minister John Major was also in attendance.
Before Novak's match got underway, Queen Camilla told Djokovic she has her 'fingers crossed' for him ahead of his quarter-final match at Wimbledon.
Camilla was joined by her sister Annabel Elliot in the Royal Box on day 10 of action at SW19 on Wednesday.
This also comes after a British Wimbledon star spoke out out after being hit with a £9,000 fine for 'abusing staff'.
The tennis club announced their first list of punishments for 2025 with 12 players fined, including a British star who 'verbally abused staff'.
Henry Patten has received the biggest fine so far at this year's Championships and has been told to pay £9,000 for his behaviour in practice.
The British player, who won last year's Wimbledon men's doubles title, 'verbally abused staff' as they attempted to cut his training session short.

But Patten has issued a statement confirming that he plans to appeal against the fine, saying he has been left 'disappointed' over the decision.

Zak Crawley sparks time-wasting row as India angered by last-over antics
The tourists had enough time to bowl two awkward overs at the end of day three after being bowled out for 387 – exactly level with England's first-innings mark. But Crawley made sure there would only be six deliveries from Jasprit Bumrah, eating up valuable seconds by pulling out of his stance on three separate occasions and then calling for the physio after a ball that appeared to make light contact with his glove. Tempers flared as it became apparent India would not get another over, with Sky Sports issuing an on-air apology after Gill was overheard shouting 'grow some f****** balls' and gesticulating crudely. Crawley and Gill jabbed fingers at each other as they exchanged angry words before the close, with England's other opener Ben Duckett also joining in from the non-striker's end. England's official X account made light of the tension by posting footage of the final over alongside the words, 'always annoying when you can't get another over in before close'. Tim Southee, England's bowling consultant, appeared to accuse Gill of double standards after he delayed the end of the home side's innings to receive treatment on day two, while India all-rounder Washington Sundar also took time out while batting for an apparent comfort break. Always annoying when you can't get another over in before close 🙄 — England Cricket (@englandcricket) July 12, 2025 'I'm not sure what they were complaining about when Gill was lying down getting a massage in the middle of the day yesterday,' said Southee. 'It's obviously part of the game. It's always exciting to see both sides animated towards the end and it was an exciting way to finish the day. It was good to see energy from both sides.' He also offered a poker-faced response when asked about Crawley's call for treatment. 'He'll be assessed overnight. Hopefully he'll be alright to carry on tomorrow,' was his deadpan response. KL Rahul appeared on behalf of the India team after scoring his sixth Test century and appeared unsurprised by Crawley's conduct. 'Two overs is a no-brainer with six minutes to go. But it was a bit of theatrics at the end,' he said. 'I know exactly what was going on; everyone knows exactly what was going on. But an opening batter will understand completely what happened in the last five minutes. 'We were all pumped up either way because we know how difficult it is for a batter to come in to bat for two overs when you have been in the field all day. Even without that I think we would have been fired up.' Former England captain Michael Vaughan enjoyed the spectacle, telling BBC's Test Match Special: 'It's as good a piece of time-wasting as I've ever seen. 'India can't complain because yesterday Gill was down with the hamstring strain. Rahul was off the field and wouldn't have been able to open the batting. But what great drama and what a great day.' Another former skipper, Sir Alastair Cook, said: 'It's not the best look for cricket, but we'll all remember that. Everyone was absolutely enthralled by it and I think the series needed it. 'There are little niggles, you keep poking each other, and eventually something breaks the camel's back. It makes it such good viewing.'

I'm A Celeb star to 'permanently replace Gregg Wallace on MasterChef'
Food critic Grace Dent, 51, is said to be replacing Gregg Wallace, 60, on MasterChef UK after the TV host was sacked from the BBC show by its production company Banijay I'm a Celebrity star Grace Dent is said to be replacing Gregg Wallace on MasterChef UK. A source has claimed the food critic, 51, will appear on the show alongside John Torode, 59, with filming set to begin at the end of summer. The claims emerged days after Gregg, 60, shared a statement warning he would "not go quietly" after he was sacked from the BBC show by its production company Banijay as 50 more people came forward to make allegations of misconduct, which he strongly denies. According to the insider, Grace, who replaced Gregg on Celebrity MasterChef earlier this year, is "a natural fit" for the show. The source added that Grace "loves to support up-and-coming talent in the industry and loves the format of the show." READ MORE: John Torode breaks social media silence after Gregg Wallace sacking and BBC ban They told The Sun: "Filming is expected to start at the end of the summer through December. They are also filming at new studios in Birmingham, so it will be a fresh start all round." When it was confirmed in December last year that Grace, who starred on I'm a Celebrity in 2023 but left on medical grounds after nine days, was stepping in for Celebrity MasterChef, she said: "I've been watching MasterChef since I was a girl sitting with my dad on the sofa. "My whole family watches it. It's all about uncovering and championing talent, and to have ended up in this position is more than a dream to me. I'm so excited that I can't eat, which is severely detrimental to a restaurant critic. "I feel very lucky to be stepping in for the next Celebrity MasterChef. I can't wait to meet the fresh celebrity faces for 2025." Jon added of her colleague: "I have loved working with Grace on MasterChef over the years. She has been an excellent guest, an inspiring critic and also set some incredible challenges." The news emerged just days after Gregg issued a furious statement on social media, claiming that the Silkin's Report into his alleged misconduct"exonerates him of all the serious allegations which made headlines last year." In a lengthy post shared on social media, he wrote: "I've taken the decision to speak out ahead of the publication of the Silkins report - a decision I do not take lightly. But after 21 years of loyal service to the BBC, I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others. "I have now been cleared by the Silkins report of the most serious and sensational accusations made against me. The most damaging claims (including allegations from public figures which have not been upheld) were found to be baseless after a full and forensic six-month investigation." He added: "My decision to go public now is also driven by the fact the BBC News division are intending to platform legally unsafe accusations, including claims which have already been investigated and not upheld by the BBC and found not credible by Silkins. The BBC is no longer providing balanced and impartial public service journalism. "It is peddling baseless and sensationalised gossip masquerading as properly corroborated stories. The BBC is choosing to allow BBC News to run with this uncorroborated tittle tattle in an attempt to 'get ahead' of the Silkin's summary report and derail what has been an extremely thorough process." A BBC spokesperson said: "Banijay UK instructed the law firm Lewis Silkin to run an investigation into allegations against Gregg Wallace. We are not going to comment until the investigation is complete and the findings are published." The Mirror has reached out to MasterChef and Grace Dent's representatives for comment.
