Rangers star Bajrami shuts down transfer speculation
Despite reports suggesting a move to former club Sassuolo, Bajrami is determined to prove himself under new manager Russell Martin.
The 26-year-old was celebrated with a mural in his home town of Tetevo, honouring his record-breaking goal for Albania at Euro 2024.
Bajrami was asked about his future, and said: "In football, you never say never.
"But I am currently focused only on Rangers.
"It is a special emotion to be back in my home town."
He also shared a piece of advice: "My advice to everyone is to never stop believing in yourself."
Bajrami made a total of 44 appearances for Rangers last season, scoring five goals across all competitions.
One of these included the opening goal in the League Cup Final against Celtic in December, a match they narrowly lost on penalties.

Celtic have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Royal Antwerp to sign long-term target Michel-Ange Balikwisha but complications are preventing the deal from being completed. The Belgian winger has been consistently linked with Celtic over the past 12 months, but injuries scuppered any prospect of a move last summer or in the January window. An update from journalist Sacha Tavolieri posted on X described the situation as "complicated". He added: "The Scottish club has reached a principle agreement with Royal Antwerp FC for the Belgian's departure, and a medical had even been scheduled, but… internal issues related to the player's situation are still preventing the finalization of the deal." But it has been two weeks since their most recent arrival, 19-year-old Manchester City loan defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, with Celtic unable to strengthen their squad further ahead of tonight's Champions League play-off first leg against Kairat Almaty at Parkhead.

Dundee boss Steven Pressley expects new arrivals at Dens Park
Steven Pressley is optimistic he will soon be able to strengthen his Dundee squad after suffering an injury blow. Midfielder Paul Digby faces up to six weeks out but Pressley expects new additions after Saturday's William Hill Premiership encounter at Kilmarnock. On his transfer business, Pressley said: 'It's highly unlikely to happen before the weekend but we have a couple of targets we are very close on that we believe will happen. 'One of them being a midfielder that we think will come in early next week. Both ourselves and the club want it to happen, the player wants it to happen, it's just a matter of timing. 'And we have also not got an agreement in place with a club, but we believe we are getting close to that, for a player in another position. 'I think it will make a big difference. Competition for places creates consistency of performance. I want players to be under pressure to keep their positions. That type of environment breeds success. 'I don't want too big a squad, I want a squad of players that are very much manageable and feel part of it, but I want them to be breathing down each other's shoulders to be playing.' Digby has been an ever-present since joining from Cambridge and played the full game as Dundee drew at Ibrox last time out. Pressley said: 'Paul Digby, who played exceptionally well against Rangers and has been a pivotal player, has a calf injury. It could be anything up to five, six weeks before we see him return. So that's a big blow.' Get all the latest news from around the country Follow STV News Scan the QR code on your mobile device for all the latest news from around the country
