Strictly's Dianne Buswell sends wedding message to Joe Sugg with four-word comment

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell had a four-word wedding message for partner Joe Suggs.
Professional dancer Dianne, 36, met 33-year-old Joe when the two were paired together on the hit BBC show in 2018. The pair made it to the final as Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton lifted the famous Glitterball Trophy.
Dianne and Joe's relationship blossomed and the pair confirmed they were dating later in the year. They moved in together the following year, buying their first home in February 2021.
However fans have been left waiting for YouTuber Joe to pop the question. And on her Winning Isn't Everything podcast with fellow Strictly winner Chris McCausland, Dianne had a message for her long-term boyfriend.
In a discussion about fingers, Dianne pointed to her ring finger and asked: 'What's that one, your best friend finger?' Only for Chris to respond: 'It's the one Joe's done nothing with.'

Dianne said: 'Exactly, we need to remind Joe what that finger holds. That finger is feeling very lonely, it needs something to weigh it down with.'
When they bought their luxurious £3.5million London home in 2021, Dianne hinted that a wedding wasn't on the cards yet. She admitted that her career came first and that the couple were 'playing their marriage by ear'.
Speaking to the Mirror , she said: 'Joe and I don't really talk about that kind of thing. We're both so relaxed so we just play it by ear. We really enjoy each other's company so much and whatever happens, happens."
Dianne has also revealed the couple's plans to start a family one day. In a 2022 interview the Australian-born dancer said that she and Joe are hoping to start a family 'when it feels right' – admitting that much like their marriage plans, they are in no rush to take the next steps in their love story.

Joe, the younger brother of fellow YouTuber Zoe Sugg, was 27 when he met Dianne. He has previously confessed she was his first 'proper girlfriend'.
Speaking to The Sunday Times back in 2021, Joe confessed: "Dianne is my first girlfriend. Other than, like, my penpal from when I was 10."
He admits he was initially apprehensive about sharing loved-up snaps with his partner. He said: 'My audience was very protective over me. But they instantly accepted Dianne, because we were partnered on Strictly, so after the show finished and we got together, they already felt like they knew her well."
Fans on social media often pine for a wedding announcement when Joe and Dianne share photos together. One wrote: 'Can you get married.'
On an Instagram post, fellow Strictly professional Johannes Radebe wrote: "If you don't marry him Di, I will..."

Yet, the couple tied the knot in 2011 in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, in front of 150 guests. Marriage bliss was rocked, though, in 2022 when Dave was diagnosed with cancer. The popular TV presenter died in February 2024 with Si by his side. Liliana added: "We'd hold hands and cry, sometimes unable to move or talk, just despairing at the unfairness of it all. I knew so well the depth of Dave's pain: the desperation, the helplessness, the anger. "Desperation for the loss of the peace and safety we'd both worked so hard for and would never get back. Helplessness in the face of this invisible enemy we'd been told was going to conquer us, no matter what we did or tried. "Anger at the injustice of having his life cut short and for being dragged through all this pain, the hospital appointments and the invasive treatments, knowing there was no way out." The mum has a new book out, called Adapted from Dave And Me, in which the widow shares her journey from meeting Dave to his tragic demise. In it, she recalls how Dave fancied her in Romania - but she didn't realise. In her interview with the Daily Mail, Liliana said: "I kept my guard up and treated what we had as a friendship, but Dave exuded so much charm and happiness that I gradually realised how much had been lacking in my life. I'd never known anyone with so much vivacity, so much love to give and such a generous heart. "It was impossible not to like Dave Myers. And, so it turned out for me, impossible not to fall in love with him, either. Despite my warnings, both of us were helpless to it. So in 2007, I moved to the UK with my daughter. My son stayed behind to finish his exams and came a year later."
