However, today's edition of Il Messaggero writes that this is no longer the case.
According to the newspaper, Claudio Ranieri reached out to Farioli in recent weeks and the two discussed the job.
During the conversation, however, Farioli communicated his priorities for next season.
The ex-Nice coach explained that he is presently waiting for a call from the Premier League.
His entourage also received an offer from Bayer Leverkusen – a destination Farioli is said to be more keen on than Roma.

Luke Rockhold: Darren Till doesn't belong in a ring or a cage with me
Luke Rockhold says boxing will also be his world against Darren Till. Former middleweight champion Rockhold boxes fellow ex-UFC fighter Darren Till in the Misfits Boxing 22: Ring of Thrones main event on Aug. 30 at AO Arena from Manchester, England. Rockhold has excelled in MMA with his grappling and kicks, but is confident that when he laces up the gloves, he'll find success there as well – even though it's Till who's the more proven boxer after amassing a 3-0 record in exhibition boxing. "I've got a million options if I fight Darren Till – mainly kick him," Rockhold told Submission Radio. "Kick through his head, kick through his body, and then beat him up on the ground. There's a million different options. This will be a little bit more of a level playing field, but I still don't think that Darren Till belongs in a ring or a cage with me. "Darren's tough. He's a tough guy, but he's got a breaking point. I think he's complacent at times, and I think there are going to be openings. I can pressure him. I can hit him. People haven't seen me in the boxing ring. I can move. I can move, and I can hit hard with both hands. I'm nothing like anybody he's faced in recent times." With a win over Till, Rockhold wants to take out the popular names in boxing whom he doesn't think belong. "There's one thing I don't like in this world is just fake, bullshit f*cking people," Rockhold said. "The world is full of pathetic, fake people these days. I'm here, and the only reason I still fight is to fight for the greater good of real man, real sh*t. "I'm going to go out there, and I'm going to put Darren Till down, and I'm going to clean up Jake Paul and all these little f*cking minions. That's where I'm at. I'd like to set the world straight. The world's going in the wrong direction, and what excites me to fight is just to correct the bullsh*t of this world."

Why this Rams WR doesn't wear his Super Bowl ring
The Los Angeles Rams won their first Super Bowl in more than two decades in 2021 thanks to a lot of different contributors. Matthew Stafford was obviously the biggest, but there were plenty of other players who earned a Super Bowl ring thanks to what they did both in the regular season and in the playoffs. But one ex-Rams player doesn't like to wear his Super Bowl ring in the years following the victory. Former NFL receiver DeSean Jackson, who only played seven games for L.A. in 2021, said the ring the Rams game him is a "bittersweet situation," on a recent episode of "All Facts No Brakes with Keyshawn Johnson." 'It's a bittersweet situation," Jackson said. "I ain't even play in the game." Early in the conversation, Jackson said Rams coach Sean McVay brought him to L.A. to fill the deep threat role vacated by Brandin Cooks. However, Jackson didn't see a lot of action during his seven games with the team. He only caught eight receptions for 221 yards and one touchdown on 15 targets. Jackson and the Rams parted ways midway through the season and he finished the year with the Las Vegas Raiders. The team still gave Jackson a ring, though Jackson added that his contribution to the team won't be a defining element of his career because of it. Jackson played 15 years in the league, mostly for the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He finished with 641 receptions for 11,263 yards and 58 touchdowns.

It's not that Jose Mourinho didn't want Fenerbahce to sign the 31-year-old midfielder. Indeed, it's the feasibility of the deal that concerns the ex-Nerazzurri boss. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce's pursuit of other primary targets remains on hold. And that's what makes the 'Special One' furious. Jose Mourinho Furious with Fenerbahce for Wasting Time on Inter Milan Ace Hakan Calhanoglu Fenerbahce have emerged as the most realistic contenders to sign Hakan Calhanoglu after Galatasaray's failed offer. However, they've yet to present Inter with a formal bid despite Calhanoglu's phone conversation with Ali Koc. Indeed, the Canaries president reportedly convinced the former AC Milan playmaker to come to Istanbul. Yet, official confirmations have yet to arrive. On the other hand, Inter will only sell their first-team stalwart on their terms. Their €30 million asking price may be beyond the Turkish giants' reach. As for Mourinho, he wants Fenerbahce to focus on signing Milan Skriniar and at least two wingers.
