Soni Razdan says Raha is ‘bilkul mast' amid Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's strict no-photo policy for daughter
Soni Razdan recently gave a brief yet heartwarming update on her granddaughter Raha Kapoor, amid Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor 's ongoing request for media privacy regarding their two-year-old daughter. The veteran actress was attending Neena Gupta 's 66th birthday celebration in Mumbai on Wednesday when paparazzi asked about Raha. With a warm smile, Soni replied, 'Bilkul mast hai.' Back in March, Ranbir and Alia addressed the media directly, requesting that Raha not be photographed without consent. Alia had said, 'We don't want to push any sort of legal action, but we'll be left with no choice if people don't listen. Wait for Raha to cross or cover her face while clicking pictures.' Her concerns were deeply personal. She revealed that one of her biggest fears is someone breaking in and harming their daughter. 'My worst nightmare is someone breaking in and taking Raha away,' the actor had confessed. Ranbir Kapoor supported his wife's sentiments, acknowledging how easily photos can go viral in today's digital age. 'It might sound like a privilege problem, but as parents, we are trying to protect our child and we will do whatever we can,' he said. 'Today, everybody who has a phone can post anything, and that can spread like wildfire, so that's not in our control. You are like our family, so we can only request you, and you can help us achieve that. ' Raha Kapoor's cute gesture towards Ranbir Kapoor melts hearts, wins internet. Prior to making a public appeal, Alia had quietly archived any previously shared images of Raha from her Instagram account. The couple formally introduced Raha to the world on Christmas Day 2023, sharing a glimpse of their daughter after much contemplation. Since then, most fans and paparazzi have respected the couple's wishes, carefully avoiding unauthorized pictures or videos of Raha in public spaces. 'If he were mine…': Gisele Bündchen's bold claim about Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan's son sparked heavy backlash
Gisele Bündchen's early comments about her bond with Tom Brady's son, Jack, sparked public debate (Image via Instagram) When Gisele Bündchen began dating NFL legend Tom Brady, the timing couldn't have been more delicate. Brady's ex, actress Bridget Moynahan , was pregnant with their son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan—affectionately called Jack. Despite the emotional complexities of the situation, Bündchen quickly embraced her role as a stepmom, something she's been candid about over the years. Gisele Bündchen's emotional bond with Jack raised eyebrows despite her good intentions In a revealing interview in 2009 with Vanity Fair, Gisele Bündchen shared how deeply connected she felt to Jack from the start. 'I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,' she said. 'I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that's important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he's my son, from the first day. ' Tom Brady & Gisele Bündchen (Getty Images) While Bündchen's words were rooted in love, they stirred public debate and drew headlines. Some felt her comments may have crossed emotional boundaries, especially in such a sensitive blended family dynamic. As Vogue noted at the time, many were taken aback, viewing her statement as unintentionally overreaching, even if it came from a sincere place. Bridget Moynahan responded years later with maturity and appreciation Years after the media frenzy, Bridget Moynahan addressed the situation in her 2019 book Our Shoes, Our Selves. Rather than harbor resentment, she emphasized the cooperative parenting environment they had cultivated. 'Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own,' she wrote. 'I don't think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love.' Moynahan's response reflected a profound level of emotional intelligence. Her ability to prioritize her son's well-being over personal feelings helped lay the foundation for a healthy co-parenting relationship—one that eventually evolved into mutual respect and harmony among all parties involved.
