'I would love to come back and have fun,' Kyle recently told Us Weekly. He just wants it to be for the right storyline. In fact, he explained that he turned down an offer to appear on And Just Like That... because he felt 'there should be more.' He continued, 'So I just said, 'I wonder if the relationship that Charlotte and Trey had demands a little more than their first idea.'' Fair enough!
Rumors of a Trey comeback have been swirling since March, when Kristin Davis—aka Charlotte herself—revealed a scrapped storyline about the exes. 'There was an idea that Trey/Kyle would come on in And Just Like That... and then it didn't happen,' Kristin said on her podcast, Are You A Charlotte? At the time, she said, she called Kyle and asked him why he turned it down. 'He said, 'I just wanted it to be amazing,' meaning that it had a kind of almost sad note,' Kristin explained.
Though she didn't reveal how exactly Trey would re-enter Charlotte's life in this proposed storyline, Kristin did say that it would explore her character's 'unfinished feeling' about her divorce.
'She really wants to see him, and I, Kristin, also feel that way. So I'm hoping that we can kind of revisit a 'maybe they run into each other just at an event or a restaurant' or something like that,' she said.
It sounds like Kyle is hoping for a bit more than just a cameo appearance, though. Maybe, given his current health issues, Harry will need to see a cardiologist in the future? I hear Trey's very, very good.

But the pants have their haters, mainly millennials who lived through capris' last heyday in the early 2000s — when they were basically shortened versions of the era's low-rise pants, often with tacky embellishments like sparkly embroidery or cargo pockets. 'They look wonderful on Audrey Hepburn … but I hate the idea of them on myself with the fury of a thousand suns,' Elisa Mala, a millennial travel writer who lives in Staten Island and did not want to give her age, recently told The Post. Becca Lyn, a 42-year-old registered nurse who lives in Chelsea, told The Post: 'When I look at pictures of myself in capris from when they [were] in fashion, I have only deep regret.' Even men have strong opinions. 'The capri pant flatters almost no one,' said Robert Ossant, fashion historian and co-author of the forthcoming 'The Art of Couture Embroidery.' 'It's the sartorial equivalent of breakup-bangs,' he added, questioning the claim that they were 'back' at all. 'Brands like to push the opposite of whatever is trending — in this case, wide leg pants — to make consumers switch their entire wardrobe up,' he said. 'I will add, supermodels in the south of France pull it off, and that's the main reason capri pants still hold some appeal.' Sometimes called pedal pushers, toreador pants or clam diggers, capris emerged in the 1940s. A German designer named Sonja de Lennart claimed she invented the style, but while she may have given capris their name, Daniel James Cole, an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology and co-author of the book 'The History of Modern Fashion,' told The Post that they were in the ether. Celebrities such as Katharine Hepburn and Amelia Earhart helped push the idea of women in pants in the 1930s. But during World War II, American women ditched their dresses en masse, suiting up in jeans or coveralls to work in the factories while the men fought in Europe. Capris, Cole said, were a response to the postwar hyper-feminine styles of Christian Dior — a way for gals to still don trousers without appearing too threatening to the men returning from the front. 'They were sometimes without the slits [at the bottom]. They were sometimes with some sort of detail down towards the hem of them. Hepburn made the pants her signature, donning them in her Oscar-winning turn as a rebellious princess in 1953's 'Roman Holiday' and again as a beatnik bookseller-turned-model in 1957's 'Funny Face.' In 1961, Mary Tyler Moore subverted the role of the subservient TV housewife when she appeared on 'The Dick Van Dyke Show' in a knit turtleneck, ballet flats and black capris — topped off with her insouciant flipped hairdo. 'They were a symbol of youth,' Cole said, and younger cultures would resuscitate them throughout the decades, from post-punkers like the B-52s in the 1980s to pop stars like Britney Spears in the late 1990s. It was that youthful mien that led 23-year-old fashion student Emma Bennett to recently purchase a pair of black and white polka-dotted pedal pushers from web retailer Cider. 'I was definitely going for a '60s vibe when I got them,' the Parsons student told The Post, adding that she was inspired by Elle Fanning's bohemian ensembles in the 2024 Bob Dylan biopic 'A Complete Unknown.' 14 Fashion student Emma Bennett bought a pair of black and white polka-dotted capris to get a ''60s vibe,' she told The Post. 'It's an image that contains this nonchalant elegance and authenticity that I think a lot of people are striving for today.' 'I looked really weird,' the Springfield, Massachusetts, mom recalled. 'The photo did not match at all the image I had in my head of how I looked.' 'I had so much fun wearing them,' she said. 'It's funny: the last time I wore capris, 'Sex and the City' was on, and now my girls are back, and I'm wearing capris again,' she said. 'It just feels right.'

Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding Recipe Is Bliss in a Bowl
is the editor of Eater at Home. Her areas of expertise include home cooking and popular culture. Although Magnolia Bakery is mostly synonymous with cupcakes in the public imagination — thanks, of course, to a fateful (and lucrative) Season 3 episode of Sex and the City — its banana pudding has also inspired its own share of fandom. Back in 2005, the dessert was largely overshadowed by the bakery's cupcakes, but the true believers knew, and kept coming, lured by the astoundingly rich layers of pudding interspersed with Nilla wafers, sliced bananas, and whipped cream. The recipe itself is fairly basic, a near copy of the one found on the Jell-O pudding box; the crucial difference is that Magnolia adds sweetened condensed milk to the pudding mix, supercharging it into a delight that borders on the obscene. It's easy to make, and hard to resist. The best way to eat it, incidentally, is by the vat. Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding Recipe Ingredients: 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1½ cups (360 grams/12.7 ounces) ice-cold water 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (preferably Jell-O brand) 3 cups (720 grams/25.5 ounces) heavy cream 1 (11-ounce) box Nilla wafers 4 to 5 ripe bananas, sliced Instructions: Step 1: In a stand mixer with the whisk, beat the condensed milk and water on medium speed until well combined, about 1 minute. Add the pudding mix and beat until there are no lumps and the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl, cover and refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour or overnight. Step 2: In a stand mixer with the whisk, whip the heavy cream on medium speed for about 1 minute, until the cream starts to thicken, then increase the speed to medium-high and whip until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip. Step 3: With the mixer running on low speed, add the pudding mixture a spoonful at a time. Mix until well blended and no streaks of pudding remain. Step 4: To assemble, select a trifle bowl or a wide glass bowl with a 4- to 5-quart capacity, or individual serving bowls. Saving 4 to 5 cookies for the garnish on top, begin assembly. Spread one-quarter of the pudding over the bottom and layer with one-third of the cookies and one-third of the sliced bananas (enough to cover the layer). Repeat the layering twice more. End with a final layer of pudding. Garnish the top with additional cookies or cookie crumbs. Step 5: Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours. Cookies should be tender when poked with a knife. This dessert is best served within 12 hours of assembling.
