Rockets 104, Wolves 101: As summer league ends, two-way wing Kevon Harris sparks first win
The Houston Rockets wrapped up their stint at the NBA's 2025 summer league with Saturday's 104-101 victory (box score) over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It was the first summer-league loss for Minnesota (4-1) and the initial win for Houston (1-4).
Heading into Las Vegas, the Timberwolves' summer roster featured more players with either proven NBA experience or perceived upside. Making matters worse, Houston was again short-handed, with second-year guard Reed Sheppard and two-way center N'Faly Dante sidelined by minor injuries.
Yet, led by a strong showing from two-way guard Kevon Harris, the remaining Rockets fought back from a 17-point deficit to eventually grab a feel-good victory.
From Saturday's game, statistical lines of note included:
Houston's aggressive defense forced Minnesota into 22 turnovers for the game, with 11 of those coming on steals by Harris, Wilson, and Arms.
Statistical averages for the entirety of summer league are available here.
