"Young Sheldon" and "Hannah Montana" star Emily Osment is officially ending her marriage after five months.
According to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday and viewed by USA TODAY, Osment and Jack Anthony have reached a confidential divorce settlement agreement. Both parties agreed to waive their right to seek spousal support.
The news came days after Osment, 33, on Friday filed for divorce from Anthony, whose legal name is Jack Farina. According to the filing, they separated on Dec. 7 after tying the knot on Oct. 12.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Osment and Farina for comment.
In a previous statement provided to USA TODAY, the actress said, "I think with any big decision in your life, whether it's relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn't work out."

Osment revealed her engagement in 2023 and said on Instagram that she "did not know life could be this sweet," adding, "This love is so big and so uniquely ours and I know it can do anything," according to People and E!. "I am so honored to stand next to you every day. I love you, Jack."
In an interview with People magazine in May, the "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage" star opened up about planning the wedding and said she could not "wait to be married."
"It's so exciting, and we have to constantly remind ourselves, you're only going to do this once," she told the outlet. "So you might look at 1,000 pictures of what looks like the exact same chair, and your wedding planner will say, 'What kind of chairs do you want?' And I'll say, 'Yes, there should be chairs there.' And she'll say, 'No, but what kind of chairs?' And I'll say, 'I don't care. There should just be chairs.' It's a little bit like that.
"A lot of very small decisions that don't seem to matter but on the day, you're going to be so happy that you sat down and went through the tough decision making. Because at the end of the day, you get to be married, and that's the greatest thing ever."
This was the first marriage for Osment, who played Mandy McAllister on the "Big Bang Theory" prequel "Young Sheldon" and is reprising the role on the spin-off "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage." In an October interview with USA TODAY, Osment noted that her wedding would be taking place just days before the "Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage" premiere.

"I have to say, I had my wedding date first," she said. "And when they said we're starting the show on Oct. 17, I said, 'Why does that date sound so familiar?"
Osment, who is the sister of Haley Joel Osment, is also known for playing Lilly Truscott on the Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," and she has had additional roles on "The Kominsky Method" and "Almost Family."

Fashion influencer issues warning after almost getting ‘decapitated' by her outfit

An Australian fashion influencer and dress hire business owner said she was nearly 'decapitated' after a wardrobe mishap at an event. Eli Moulton attended the launch of a new car dealership in Adelaide on Sunday, wearing a black tube dress with a flowing sheer black scarf. However, as she was leaving, her accessory got caught under her car, forcibly yanking at her neck as she drove off. Sharing outfit videos from the night on her Instagram, the mom-of-two joked that the dress had her in a 'chokehold,' which is slang for being obsessed with something. In the clips that followed, she showed how it 'literally' did have a chokehold on her, leaving a thick red burn mark around her neck. 'A reminder for the ladies: REMOVE your neck scarves (sic) before entering or operating any heavy machinery! Nearly decapitated myself getting the scarf tangled underneath the car on the way home,' she wrote in the caption. Famously, American dancer Isadora Duncan died in 1927 when the long scarf she was wearing became entangled in the wheel of the open-air car she was in. The car accelerated at full speed, violently pulling her from the vehicle and throwing her onto the street and breaking her neck. She was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The 'Isadora' style of scarf was named after her and is known for its flowing, free-flowing style, often made from luxurious materials like cashmere, silk, or wool.

Minnesota Vikings show support for their male cheerleaders amid backlash

The Minnesota Vikings are showing support for the team's two male cheerleaders, Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn, who have faced homophobic and hateful backlash since being announced as members of the 2025 squad. As the start of the 2025 NFL season approaches, football fans have been enjoying seeing the players, coaches, cheerleaders and other members of the organization make their way back to their home stadiums for the pre-season. The Minnesota Vikings, like other teams, have been feeding into the excitement by posting content on social media highlighting its members. On Aug. 9, the Vikings and the team's official account for its cheerleading squad shared a video on Instagram introducing all the cheerleaders on its roster. In the clip, the entire squad, including male cheerleaders Shiek and Conn, can be seen nailing the routine and shaking their pompoms. 'The next generation of cheer has arrived!' the caption read. While many fans celebrated seeing inclusivity on the sidelines, some filled the comments with offensive remarks and threats of withdrawing their support. The Vikings responded to the vitriol in a statement obtained by 'While many fans may be seeing male cheerleaders for the first time at Vikings games, male cheerleaders have been part of previous Vikings teams and have long been associated with collegiate and professional cheerleading. In 2025, approximately one third of NFL teams have male cheerleaders,' the team said. 'Every member of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders program has an impressive dance background and went through the same rigorous audition process. Individuals were selected because of their talent, passion for dance and dedication to elevating the game day experience.' The team concluded, 'We support all our cheerleaders and are proud of the role they play as ambassadors of the organization.' Instead of letting the comments negatively affect them, Shiek and Conn chose to rise above it. The two uploaded a joint Instagram post on Saturday that showed them posing in their cheer uniforms. 'Wait…did someone say our name?' they cheekily wrote in the caption. Fans left some encouraging words in the comments. 'Yesss!!! Literal icons! Let the haters talk and y'all keep SHINING!' one said. 'I know I speak for so many when I say I'm so excited to watch y'all show up & SHOW OUT this season!!' Another wrote, 'I noticed you both immediately when you first took the field. Not because of gender but because you were both damn good dancers.' A third commented with a pun. 'Just a couple of viKINGS,' they said along with two crown emoji. Sheik shared why he wanted to join the squad in a video uploaded to the Vikings' YouTube page last month. 'I went to a lot of Vikings games with my family, mainly my dad. I was definitely watching cheerleaders thinking, like, 'I wish I could do that.'' He added he was 'being that role model for other little kids who don't know that this is an option.' Conn said in the video, 'The people I'm meeting, dancers, cheerleaders and coaches, are really shaping the way that I'm thinking about this program. And I'm really starting to love it a lot.' 'The Carolina Panthers, since 2022, have featured the first and only openly-transgender cheerleader (Justine Lindsay) in the NFL,' NBC News reported. The Washington Commanders also currently have a co-ed dance squad.

Meta's AI translation tool can dub your Instagram videos

Meta is bringing its AI translation tool to more users on Facebook and Instagram, which automatically dubs your reels into another language. The feature also uses AI to make its dub match up with the sound of your voice and the movement of your mouth. For now, you can only translate your reels from English to Spanish (and vice versa), similar to what Meta previewed during its Connect event last year. You can enable the tool by selecting the Translate voices with Meta AI toggle on the menu that appears before you publish a reel on Instagram and Facebook. Meta also gives you the option to add lip-syncing to your dubbed video, as well as review it before publishing. Facebook and Instagram will automatically surface translated reels to users in their preferred language. Your videos will also have a tag that discloses that it was translated using Meta AI. The translation tool is rolling out now to Facebook creators with 1,000 or more followers and all public Instagram accounts.
