Reducing Fat Storage: Animal studies indicate acetic acid may prevent fat accumulation, but more research is needed to confirm this in humans. How to Use ACV for Weight Loss To safely incorporate ACV into your routine: Dilute 1-2 tablespoons of ACV in a large glass of water. Drinking it undiluted can damage tooth enamel and irritate the throat. Consume it before meals to enhance feelings of fullness. Start with small amounts to avoid digestive discomfort. While ACV can provide small benefits, it won't lead to dramatic weight loss on its own. Sustainable weight management requires a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and healthy habits. ACV should be seen as a supplement, not a replacement for these efforts. Potential Side Effects Overuse of ACV can lead to side effects like: Tooth enamel erosion due to its high acidity. Digestive issues like stomach irritation. Interactions with medications, such as diabetes or diuretic drugs. Apple cider vinegar can support weight loss efforts by helping with appetite control and blood sugar regulation, but it's not a standalone solution. Pair it with a healthy lifestyle for the best results, and consult your doctor before starting any new regimen. © 2000 - 2024 Al Bawaba (

Organic carrots recalled over E. coli outbreak, leaving 15 hospitalized
A California grower has issued a nationwide recall of organic carrots it produced for some of the country's leading supermarkets over an E. coli outbreak, including Albertsons, Kroger, Publix, Trader Joe's, Walmart and Whole Foods. The recall issued by Grimmway Farms on Saturday comes after reports from 18 states documenting nearly 40 cases connecting its baby carrots with the illness. The cases have led to one death and 15 hospitalizations. "Interviews with sick people and traceback findings show that organic whole and baby carrots sold by Grimmway Farms are making people sick," the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement. "Multiple brands and sizes of bagged organic whole and baby carrots were recalled. These products are no longer for sale at stores but may still be in people's homes. Check your refrigerators and throw them away." The CDC said most people infected with E. coli will experience cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting, with those symptoms running up to four days. The agency said most people recover in seven days. It added that more severe cases could include kidney problems that may lead to hospitalization. The baby and whole carrot products being recalled, with the use by date of Sept. 11 to Nov. 12, are branded as 365, Bunny Luv, Cal-Organic, Compliments, Full Circle, Good & Gather, GreenWise, Grimmway Farms, Marketside, Nature's Promise, O-Organic, President's Choice, Raley's, Simple Truth, Sprouts, Trade Joe's, Wegmans, and Wholesome Pantry.
