Swedish content creator Patric Persson posted a video of himself getting the TikTok and Instagram story this weekend. In the video, Perrson is seen accepting the bill from the waiter before taking it over to Grealish and appearing to ask him for his autograph. He pulled he wool from viewers' eyes by sharing a snap of himself and Grealish by the pool with the caption: "Dundergubbe [thunder guy] @jackgrealish." In a follow-up story update, it became clear the two had previously met as Persson tagged Grealish as the photographer of a pre-dinner snap of himself and other members of his holiday group.
