Ana de Armas Is ‘Losing Her Patience' While Having to Hide Her Romance With Tom Cruise

Yahoo22-07-2025
Ballerina beauty Ana de Armas has declared her desire to be a mom — and insiders say she's getting fed up with beau Tom Cruise stalling about publicly committing to their relationship.
'Ana is head over heels for Tom, but she's losing patience with the sneaking around,' an insider shares.
The source maintains that the Cuban cutie, 37, 'played along at first,' but after nearly six months of cloak-and-dagger dating, her patience is 'wearing very thin.'
The insider says, 'She wants to be acknowledged as his girlfriend and doesn't understand what's holding him back. She's in a tough spot because Tom expects everyone around him to do things his way and never takes it well when people push back.'
However, the source says there's only so long that Ana can continue like this and she's told the Mission: Impossible daredevil, 63, that she wants a future that includes kids.
While promoting Ballerina — the latest installment in the John Wick film franchise — Ana admitted that she's itching for a family.
According to Daily Mail, she told Italy's F Magazine, 'I'd like to have children and a family, soon if possible. But it's not just up to me.
'As we know, love is unpredictable; you never know when true love will arrive. Relationships can't be controlled: Life isn't a movie.'
According to the source, that confession was directed at Tom — and a sign for him to take action.
Earlier this year, Ana revealed to Good Morning America that she's working on 'a few projects' with Cruise and directors Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie.
Ana and Tom's connection appeared to heat up earlier this year after they were spotted enjoying a Valentine's Day dinner outing in London. Since then, they've also been seen together on several helicopter rides.
The insider explains, 'To her, going public is the first step toward building something real, and the fact that he's still dragging his feet is a serious red flag for her.'
'Tom insists he's just being cautious and protecting what they have, but Ana's not buying it anymore. If he keeps dancing around the romance, she's saying she won't stick around.'

Blake Lively accuses Justin Baldoni of leaking details of her deposition, including what she wore, to create ‘a media circus'

Blake Livey has accused Justin Baldoni of 'creating a media circus' by leaking details from her closed-door deposition last week in their ongoing legal saga. Lively, 37, was questioned under oath by the attorneys of her 'It Ends With Us' co-star-turned-rival on Thursday — the details of which were 'immediately' leaked, according to a letter her lawyers filed Monday. 3 Blake Lively claimed Justin Baldoni leaked details from inside his lawyers' deposition of her. REUTERS The deposition started at 10:13 a.m. that morning — and by 10:15 a.m. TMZ published its story revealing Baldoni attended the grilling of the 'Gossip Girl' actress, Lively's lawyers claimed. 3 Lively and Baldoni have been locked in a bitter legal dispute for months since she accused him of sexually harassing her on the set of 'It Ends With Us.' Christopher Peterson / 'Consistent with their goal of creating a media circus around Ms. Lively's deposition, it also appears that the Wayfarer Defendants immediately leaked details from the deposition to the tabloid media,' Lively said of Baldoni's side, which includes the production company of 'It Ends With Us,' Wayfarer Studios LLC. The leaks continued the next day, including 'in detail Ms. Lively's attire for the deposition' and who accompanied her to the meeting, Lively's lawyers claimed. This was to 'misleadingly' create a narrative that Lively 'needed a large contingent of people with her to testify' while suggesting Baldoni was only accompanied by one lawyer, she alleged. The Daily Mail published a story the day after noting Lively was with her older half sister Robyn and her 'Deadpool' actor husband Ryan Reynolds when she walked into the building wearing black jeans and jacket and a light blue cardigan. The two weren't in the room with her, however, when she was under oath during the day-long session that her eight lawyers also attended, the outlet reported. 'The reality is' Baldoni and the other defendants had an army of 13 lawyers there with them, the Manhattan federal court papers claimed. 3 Baldoni's side told the media that he was present for her questioning and other details from the day, Lively's lawyers claimed. ©Sony Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection Depositions often take place at the law firms of the parties involved and are not open to the public — unlike most court proceedings. While Baldoni asked that the deposition take place at his lawyers' office, Lively won a protective order allowing her to be questioned at a location of her choosing. She was questioned at her attorneys' office on 7th Avenue, the Daily Mail reported. Lively's lawyers claim that a day after the deposition, Baldoni's side posted the 292-page rough draft version of the transcript under seal for a week. Lively's team will have to file a motion to keep it under seal indefinitely. Baldoni's lawyers 'hope to make Ms. Lively defend the continued sealing of the transcript so they can advance a false narrative that Ms. Lively is afraid of her deposition testimony becoming public, which is entirely untrue and deeply harmful.' Deposition transcripts normally remain under seal unless arguments are made for them to be unsealed for legal reasons. Portions of deposition transcripts can also come out during trials. Lively's lawyers argued that the transcript should be erased from the record for now. Lively launched a $250 million lawsuit against Baldoni and others claiming he sexually harassed her on the set of the 2024 movie, which he directed and co-starred in. She alleged that things got so bad during filming that there was a tense sit-down where she and Reynolds demanded he refrain from showing her nude videos and photos of women and that he stop talking to Lively about his prior addiction to porn and his sexual conquests. Lively claimed that Baldoni's team then went on a smear campaign about her which hurt her businesses and her family, the suit alleged. Baldoni — who was on the TV show 'Jane the Virgin' — then countersued for $400 million for extortion and defamation against Lively and Reynolds. Manhattan federal Judge Lewis Liman dismissed Baldoni's claims in June. Lawyers on both sides didn't immediately return requests for comment Monday afternoon.

When will 'Regretting You' be released? "Regretting You" will arrive in theaters on Oct. 24. What other Colleen Hoover books are getting the film treatment? Miami-Inspired Perfume Trend for Summer 2025

It's no surprise that vacation-inspired perfumes have become one of this summer's biggest fragrance trends. Amid rising inflation, why blow your savings on a plane ticket when a single spritz can transport you to your favorite beachside getaway? While recent launches channel destinations from around the globe, Miami scents in particular are gaining a devoted following. "It's not just the gorgeous weather and beach; it's the culture and energy of the place that is so captivating," says Bee Shapiro, founder and CEO of Ellis Brooklyn. "The glamour of Miami is so unique to that city." So, what does Miami actually smell like? According to Shapiro, it's "joyful, tropical, and sophisticated." That vibe is perfectly captured in Ellis Brooklyn's Miami Nectar, which is widely credited with kickstarting the Miami perfume trend last year. Inspired by the winters Shapiro spent escaping cold New York in Miami Beach, it stars notes of fresh pineapple, coconut water, jasmine, vanilla, amberwood, and moss. "Miami Nectar is loaded with white florals and delicious fruity notes that make your mouth water, not gourmand sweetness that feels heavy in the heat," says Cosmo beauty editor Beth Gillette. "It's wet, hot, and juicy—like pool floats and piña coladas on Miami Beach, or dancing at a club until 4 a.m., or grabbing a Cuban coffee and empanada before looking at art in Wynwood." The Miami perfume moment officially reached cult status when Juliette Has a Gun released Miami Shake in late March. The gourmand fragrance features standout notes of whipped cream, wild strawberry, and ice cream cone—which the label's founder and creative director, Romano Ricci, says "add a playful, indulgent touch." He likens the base note of vanilla absolute to the "warmth of the sun setting over Ocean Drive," the iconic South Beach strip known for its Art Deco architecture and vibrant nightlife. "Miami is a sensory experience," adds Ricci. "The sun, the sea, the nightlife—everything feels amplified. It's vibrant and magnetic. People are craving escapism and optimism—Miami delivers that, both in reality and in scent." Of course, Miami isn't the only destination you can visit via the fragrance aisle right now. Kayali's new "vacay in a bottle" collection transports you to Capri, Maui, Marrakesh, and the Maldives. Meanwhile, Tom Ford nods to Portofino, D.S. & Durga whisks you away to the Yucatán peninsula, Bond No. 9 channels the Hamptons, and Henry Rose takes you straight down the Pacific Coast Highway. "Every city has its own unique essence, so I always choose a specific fragrance for every trip," says Gilette. "It makes me feel like I fit the vibe of the location and helps the vacation stick in my brain better. Later, when I'm home, I'll wear the same scent whenever I want to channel the energy of that particular trip." So, which city will inspire the next big perfume trend? Shapiro says she'd love to see Malibu in the spotlight after the devastating wildfires, while Ricci has his eye on Tokyo, Tulum, and Mykonos. "People are drawn to destinations that evoke emotion, culture, and a different rhythm of life—perfect inspiration for fragrance creation," he notes.
