Samantha Ruth Prabhu Sets The Night Ablaze In Fiery Saree And Corset Glam By Kresha Bajaj
Samantha Ruth Prabhu redefines evening elegance in a fiery Kresha Bajaj saree paired with sculpted glam and soft waves
'Last evening… ♥️" with just two words, Samantha Ruth Prabhu set Instagram ablaze. But it was her captivating look that did all the talking. Draped in a stunning saffron-orange saree by Kresha Bajaj, the actor delivered a fashion moment that blended contemporary sensuality with timeless Indian grace.
The saree itself was a beautifully fluid silhouette, reimagined with bold textures and clever styling. The soft chiffon fabric flowed effortlessly, featuring cascading fringes along the pallu and hemline. But the true showstopper was the intricately embroidered corset blouse, a structured masterpiece adorned with bold florals in maroon, black, and muted metallics, perfectly cinched to enhance her form. The beadwork and floral thread embroidery lent the piece a couture finish, with statement fabric buttons running down the centre like a vintage detail brought into 2025.
The colour palette of rust-red and burgundy, offset by Samantha's glowing complexion, created a regal yet fierce mood. The styling struck a perfect balance, the saree was neither overly traditional nor trying too hard to be edgy. It was poised, feminine, and unabashedly bold.
Her makeup, like the ensemble, played up balance and contrast. With softly sculpted cheekbones, muted nude lips, and perfectly shaped brows, Samantha opted for a minimalist approach, allowing her expressive eyes to take centre stage. A subtle brown smokey eye with winged liner added intensity, while glowing, dewy skin kept the look fresh and radiant. The makeup enhanced her natural beauty without overpowering the look, embodying that 'soft glam" aesthetic that feels both red-carpet ready and editorial.
Her hair, styled in flowing, soft curls swept to one side, added to the old-Hollywood-meets-modern-India vibe. The voluminous waves framed her face with a romantic softness, offsetting the structured blouse beautifully. Minimal jewellery just dainty hoops and a single bracelet kept the attention on the saree and her confident presence.
Set against a European-style corridor and natural golden light, Samantha looked like she had stepped out of a modern-day fairytale. Whether she was owning the frame solo or caught candidly mid-laugh, the entire look radiated poise, power, and personality.

Chennai's Mixtura Vizha brings art to you
Unlike most art festivals or street performances, Mixtura Vizha doesn't offer a tightly packed agenda. It throws open various global art forms, placing them squarely in public spaces for people to experience them with an open mind. Curated by Shreya Nagarajan Singh under her banner SNS Arts Development Consultancy, along with KM Music Conservatory, in partnership with the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) and Uptown Kathipara Urban Square. 'This year, we chose three prime locations — Central metro station, Thiru Vi Ka Park, and Urban Square at Kathipara. The idea is to bring the arts into public spaces, and take it outside the traditional space of a sabha or an auditorium,' said Shreya. 'We want to make the arts accessible for everyone — be it someone taking the metro home or someone walking through a park.' With a total of eight performances ranging from classical music and dance to drama and koothu to techno and jazz, the city's spaces transformed into a platform for artistes. What makes Mixtura Vizha unique is its inclusion of art forms that general audience rarely witnesses live. At Central metro, the performances kicked off with KS Thejal's voice shifting between soft French compositions and soulful Indian classicals. The blend of beats — of modern and traditional instruments — attracted the passersby. People leaned on barricades, stood in clusters with their backpacks and luggage, some filming and others simply pausing to listen. It was during the setup for the next act that I spotted Adam Greig, artistic director of KM Music Conservatory. Reflecting on his collaboration and performance, Adam shared, 'I'm one of the co-founders and co-inspirators of Mixtura Vizha. Shreya and I were discussing back in 2021 about this idea of doing a festival in Chennai and Shreya came up with this concept of incorporating all the different types of art forms.' As he gearing for his first piano solo at the festival, he gestured toward the crowd and said, 'It's quite an exciting concept because the audience never know what they're going to get. They know who's playing, they know where it is happening, but they wouldn't know who's playing in which of the listed locations. It's fun for them too,' he exclaimed. Charumathi Chandrasekar also took the stage by storm with expressive Bharatanatyam movements.

Highest Earning Films Of 2025 According to box office reports, the film has surpassed all predictions to take its place among the highest-earning Bollywood films of 2025. 'Saiyaara' not only outperformed Suri's previous opening records like 'Ek Villain' which earned Rs 16 crore and 'Aashiqui 2', which earned Rs 6.1 crore, but also positioned itself among the top 5 highest opening weekends of 2025. It is now trailing behind only big-ticket films like, Vicky Kaushal 's 'Chhaava' which earned Rs 121.43 crore, 'Housefull 5' which has an estimated net total of Rs 91.83 crore and 'Sikandar' which earned Rs 86.44 crore net. The film performed particularly well during its evening shots, with the highest footfalls recorded to be around 79.32% and 88.15%. Trade analysts are crediting the film's success to a combination of fresh casting, music, and Suri's emotional storytelling, which seems to have struck a chord with younger audiences. This impressive Rs 80+ crore debut for Panday, comes at a time when several other star kids, the latest being Shanaya Kapoor , failed to rake in even Rs 2 crore at the box office in the first week of the release of her debut film 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan'. Director Suri credits the film's authenticity and emotional truth. In interviews, he's spoken candidly about his desire to push past the rose-tinted portrayal of romance in Bollywood: 'In love, there will be pain… If love is not real, it's not felt. I believe in it more than I fantasise about it,' he told PTI. Bollywood vs Hollywood 'Saiyaara' has also beaten the likes of Hollywood films like 'Superman' and 'Jurassic World Rebirth'. The new release has comfortably shot past the collections of James Gunn's Superman, and is just a few crore shy of beating the Scarlett Johansson starrer dino film, which has a two-week total collection of Rs 86.6 crore. This film is expected to continue its upward trend at the box office and record a strong opening weekend. All eyes will now turn to Monday's numbers to see if the film can maintain its momentum and set a new box office record.

He made the revelation during a recent show. The crowd was ecstatic when he casually revealed the album title at his Brooklyn gig on Friday. Although the two legends have acknowledged one another before, this serves as a stark reminder of how their influence transcends all sectors. The singer, however, has a clear philosophy that explains why he favors early-week releases. As per Complex, he explained his point of view in an interview with Nardwuar in 2023. He claimed: 'I think we should put music out again on Tuesdays instead of Fridays, for some reasons.. My reasoning is, I know people think because of the weekend, they can listen to stuff, and the streams go up. And the streaming people are like, 'Oh, the streams go up on the weekend!' But I think it's a lot of passive listening, at parties or people get the time to go to the gym, so they're not really listening.' LeBron James is an NBA icon (Image via Getty Images) He added: 'To work on an album for so long and put so much energy into it and for it to be released at midnight…just seems so disrespectful.' This evolving relationship between LeBron James and Tyler, the Creator, showcases how artists and athletes amplify each other's cultural influence. Whether or not they have official collaborations planned, the singer's presence in the NBA icon's orbit speaks volumes.
