Happy Gilmore 2 and all its cameos hit Netflix on Friday, finally giving fans a sequel to 1996's iconic comedy. The Adam Sandler-led movie has a 74% on Rotten Tomatoes from the audience, but there's one big-name fan of the golf-based comedy. Pop star Taylor Swift -- who does not make a cameo -- took to her Instagram on Friday to post a rave review to her story.
"Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie!" the 14-time Grammy winner posted. "An absolute must watch, 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible." She even included a honey pot emoji, a direct reference to one scene in the movie.
Why that scene, you ask? Swift's boyfriend of two years, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, had a small cameo in the movie. He played a waiter that had a couple scenes with both Sandler and Bad Bunny, the latter of which may have doused him with honey at some point.

Sandler is a big fan of Swift and Kelce, having recently praised the couple during the Happy Gilmore 2 press tour.
This is the second time in as many days that the couple has shared the other on their social channels as Kelce heavily featured Taylor Swift for the first time in an Instagram and Facebook photo dump on Thursday.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Reviews: What Do Critics Say About The Marvel Reboot?

The reviews have landed for Marvel's fourth go at , – and could it be that director Matt Shakman has finally given the superhero quartet the movie they deserve? First, we had 2005′s edition (and subsequent 2007 sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer), which starred Chris Evans (who recently reprised the role of Johnny Storm in Deadpool vs Wolverine) and Jessica Alba. A perfectly fine offering... but truly fine at best. Then we got the moody 2015 reboot. It's somewhat long-forgotten amongst other Marvel films of the time, despite starring Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan – which is maybe for the best given its 9% Rotten Tomatoes scoring. Now, with a super fun press tour to boot, we've been given a brand new set of superheroes (and Pedro Pascal's entrance to the Marvel cinematic universe at last) alongside new storyline (no origin stories here this time!) – but what do critics make of the latest iteration? Some have called it 'the best Marvel film yet', while others have labelled it 'not quite the confident strides fans were hoping for' – but if there's one thing they can all agree on, it's that the film heralds a much-needed new era for Marvel. Check out a selection of the reviews for yourself below… The Guardian (3/5) 'The result hangs together as an entertaining spectacle in its own innocent self-enclosed universe of fantasy wackiness, where real people actually read the comic books that have made mythic legends of the real Four. I have expressed my dissatisfaction recently with superhero films... but at least this finale emerges from the established story premise, and works well with the tone of uncomplicated fun.' 'If the script doesn't hit quite so many comedic high notes as some other Marvels, it at least brims with sincerity, presenting a heroic squad committed to protecting the Earth, while encouraging the whole world to link arms and do its bit, too. Those are the kind of heroes, it feels, that we need right now. 'This is the best Fantastic Four yet. And if that bar's too low for you, then it's also the best Marvel movie in years.' Games Radar (3.5/5) 'Fantastic? We'll settle for merely good. Fantastic Four may not be the confident stride Marvel fans were hoping for but, at the very least, it's a solid first step.' IGN 'These First Steps might not be the great strides I was hoping for, but they are sure footing for the Fantastic Four to officially leap into the MCU.' The Telegraph (4/5) 'After spending the best part of a decade since Iron Man 3 blundering into the furniture, Marvel has finally learned how to put one foot in front of the other again – and in doing so, arrived at the studio's funniest, most exciting, moving and complete film in more than 10 years.' BBC 'This film feels like a warm-up, introducing characters who will become major parts of the MCU. These characters are strong enough to stand out amidst the other superheroes, but you can already hear Wikipedia calling.' The Hollywood Reporter 'All four leads bring something special to their respective roles and to the superbly gauged balance of personalities that makes each of them essential to the group... It's fun but never campy.' ' First Steps is no disaster – but it's no Superman, either. Angst isn't on the cards for Marvel as of now. And it's nice, admittedly, to see the genre embrace wonder once again.' Variety 'True to its subtitle, the film feels like a fresh start. And like this summer's blockbuster 'Superman' reboot over at DC, that could be just what it takes to win back audiences suffering from superhero exhaustion.'

Taylor Swift to 'take the high road' over Denise Welch jibes

Taylor Swift plans to 'take the high road' after being slammed by ex-boyfriend Matt Healy's mother Denise Welch. The 35-year-old superstar and the 36-year-old 1975 frontman briefly dated following her split from actor Joe Alwyn, in April 2023 and Taylor went on to reference their relationship in her album The Tortured Poets Department. During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Matt's mother Denise insisted it was unfair that Matt couldn't talk about the relationship. She said: 'Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad I lost. 'Not that I have anything against [Taylor] at all! It was just – it was tricky. 'Listen, you're not allowed to say anything, and then she [Taylor] writes a whole album about it.' However, Taylor – who has been happily dating NFL star Travis Kelce for the past few years - plans to ignore Denise's jibes. A source told 'It's a bit obnoxious in Taylor's eyes, but she has to take the high road. 'If there was anything that would be in a future song of Taylor's – if she were ever to respond – she would respond that way. But as of right now, she might just let it slide. She is not going to let Denise ruin her day. 'Taylor respected Denise and will continue to do so, as this will go away very quickly. 'But if Denise continues to talk about it and bash Taylor, then Taylor would say something. The ball is still in Denise's court to see if she wants to continue the narrative she brought upon herself.'

Is Leah Williamson in a relationship?

Leah Williamson, footballer and captain of the England women's national team, has long sparked dating rumours with Elle Smith, an American model and former Miss USA winner. From sweet holiday snaps to celebrating her football wins together, the 28-year-old and her beau have somewhat soft-launched their relationship on Instagram over the last few months. However, from what we, and other social media sleuths (see: fans of the pair), can see, they're yet to actually make it 'official.' So, let's take a deep dive into their rumoured relationship, including some of the sweetest moments so far... Last month, Elle took to her Instagram to share snippets of her Majorcan holiday with her 127K followers. While many shots showed off her summer fits and stunning views of the Spanish island, a couple of pics saw the pair looking super loved up. Case in point: slide 3 caught Leah and Elle on a paddleboard together, while slide 17 saw Elle snap a candid pic of the footballer dressed up and heading out for dinner. Leah also posted snaps of the getaway — where they were celebrating Elle's birthday — which included a gorgeous photo of the pair at dinner. A selfie of the two was featured in the carousel too, which saw Leah and Elle sunkissed and smiling. Elle commented on the holiday roundup: "same time next year?" to which Leah responded: "yes please x." Err, cute. Back in May, Elle posted a black and white shot of her cuddling Leah, who was sitting on her lap. Leah was clutching a medal and wearing an England shirt following her team's 6-0 win against Portugal. The post also included footage of the match, in which Elle could be heard cheering on the team. Leah commented on the post: "We did it!" Even earlier in March, Elle posted a video of her and Leah floating in the ocean on a paddleboard. Leah appeared to be lying down and resting her head on Elle's legs, as they had a sweet, intimate chat. Elle accompanied the post with the caption: "happy birthday my love x." Leah responded with the cutest emojis: "🥰🤭🧜‍♀️." Interestingly, this Insta post sparked 'official' comments from fans, with one person writing: "The mother of hard launches!" Others said: "So happy for you!" while another person said they were the "cutest" together. Officially obsessed with these two.
