Spoilers for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 below.
The third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is finally here, which means we get a whole new slate of episodes where the gorgeous Fisher brothers fawn over Belly Conklin. Except this time, they've traded their quaint Cousins Beach vacation home for college, and the stakes in their respective relationships have never been higher. As the whole crew—Belly, Jeremiah, Conrad, Steven, and Taylor—navigates their newfound adulthood amid shifting family dynamics and dating drama, it also means we have brand new scenes fit for some surprising needle drops.
Yes, we're still thinking of all the incredible moments soundtracked by Taylor Swift tracks (there are 11 T. Swift songs so far, counting the season 3 premiere). And, of course, Olivia Rodrigo and Ariana Grande are also regulars in the Jenny Han Cinematic Universe. Ahead, find all the songs featured in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 soundtrack so you don't miss a beat.
Belly, Taylor, and the boys have officially made it to Finch College! Taylor and Belly's brother, Steven, have broken up but are still going the friends with benefits route while Belly and Jeremiah are fully in love, three years in.
Jere finds out he's missing a few credits, which delays his graduation and upsets his dad, who has to spend another $20,000 in tuition. Meanwhile, Conrad is crushing it as he's accepted into Stanford's prestigious medical program with his new friend, Agnes. He reflects on his romance with Belly, while she's on the fence about spending another semester at Finch with Jere or studying abroad in Paris. At the end of the episode, she finds out that Jeremiah cheated on her with one of Taylor's sorority sisters, Lacie.
Belly is down bad after learning that Jeremiah cheated on her with Lacie in Cabo. Like, so down bad that she won't even talk to her best friend, Taylor, who happens to be Lacie's sorority sister. (There are also some holiday-themed flashbacks between Belly and Conrad, hence the episode's title and Christmas music thrown in here.)
As Belly changes her mind about studying abroad in Paris, Taylor gets into an argument with Steven that leads to him getting in a nearly fatal car crash. Jeremiah shows up for Belly before her parents can make it from their conference, and Conrad helps from his medical internship at Stanford. While Conrad loses the opportunity because of a mistake in the lab, Jeremiah and Belly patch things up as he proposes to her outside the hospital.
Ofc, we'll update this playlist with more tracks featured in the show as new episodes drop every Wednesday. In the meantime, you can play all the songs riiiight here:

The New Episode of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Reveals How Conrad Sees Belly

Spoilers below. Last week, The Summer I Turned Pretty teased Conrad's POV with a little voice over in which he asks, 'What have I done?' as he tells Belly he will be Jeremiah's co-best man at their wedding. Season 3, episode 5 brings us back to that moment in Conrad's head, showing viewers exactly how he sees Belly. In his eyes, she's bathed in idyllic light while Otis Redding's 'These Arms of Mine' plays soulfully in the background. Yes, Conrad is suffering in Belly's proximity. To avoid getting too close to her as they share the Cousins beach house, he's staying up on the roof and hammering away at loose shingles (while peeping on her by the pool). Conrad's attempts at home improvement and celibacy are interrupted when his dad, Adam, calls to discuss the wedding. Conrad plays defense, lying that he and Jere haven't discussed it. In more V.O., Conrad considers his dad issues. Adam was once someone he looked up to, but the way he treated Susannah (and cheated on her!) has made him a fallen hero. Conrad obviously doesn't want to be an Adam 2.0 and resolves to avoid Belly as much as possible before the wedding. In Boston, Taylor is picking up Jere for a trip to Cousins for 4th of July weekend, but he has to stay a bit later than expected to impress his dad. He teases her about Steven, who is heading to New York for the holiday. Jeremiah asks how Belly is doing from her best friend's perspective. Taylor tries to be diplomatic, but she clearly thinks Belly has a lot to handle. And then, Steven pops up—with seemingly the only female intern, Denise, who wisely keeps it moving. Taylor and Steven get left alone to chat awkwardly and she thanks him for help with her mom. He guesses accurately that she used her New York money to save Lucinda's salon. They bid adieu with flirty smiles as Taylor gets a call from her mother. Unfortunately, Lucinda was calling because the salon's inspection got moved up and now Taylor has to go help her and skip Cousins. Taylor calls Belly and promises to make the engagement party a blast. And Steven said he'd come, which is a big win for both girls. As Belly finds some Pop Tarts in the cupboard for breakfast, she and Conrad finally end up in the same room at the same time. More awkward conversation from former lovers ensues. Belly finally asks when Conrad is going back to California. He doesn't give a straight answer, but tells her to eat whatever he buys. What's his is hers. At the office, Jeremiah waits for his dad to leave so he can catch the train. Unable to stay out of mischief, Jere picks up on a vibe between Denise and Steven. But Steven is not noting their obvious chemistry because his mind is on someone else: Taylor. Adam pops in to ask the interns to look at the financials for a huge project and Jeremiah volunteers, delaying his return to Cousins. After several hours going over spreadsheets, Jeremiah admits to Adam that the numbers aren't adding up. In Cousins, Belly sets off to do wedding errands on her bike after Conrad refuses to give her a ride, trying to stick to his promise to avoid her. His V.O. considers how usual it is that when Belly has a problem, he rushes to fix it. He remembers a day from when they were kids when he lent her his bike so she could keep up with the boys. He decides to go after his childhood friend and try to help her after all. Belly visits a bakery and describes Jeremiah's dream wedding cake to the baker who says a dark chocolate mirror-glaze treat will come out to $750. Jeremiah isn't available to talk budget, so she downgrades their dream to cupcakes. Conrad finds Belly on the street laden with packages and picks her up. The atmosphere is tense as they discuss plans, leading to more childhood memories around Conrad's precious stamp collection. He admits he was a 'geek.' The joking weakens Conrad and he agrees to go with her to the flower shop, extending his time by her side. Having learned from her bakery experience, Belly tries to hide the fact that she needs flowers for a wedding, but Conrad blows her cover. It turns out there's a $5,000 minimum spend for weddings. Conrad suggests they use Susannah's hydrangeas instead, but Belly is still bummed. Conrad tries to cheer her up more as she samples cupcakes in the car, suggesting cake adjustments to bring down spending. Jeremiah calls to say that he won't be there until very late, which means he and Belly will miss a big sale on wedding decor at Michael's. Jere shows badly on the call, complaining about not getting the exact cake he wants, being a snob about cacao and coulis, and telling Belly he'll put it on a credit card. Then he hangs up. Once again, Conrad tries to support his brother and says he's sure it's 'killing Jere not to be here.' Belly gets emotional, saying she is stuck in Cousins making decisions about stuff she doesn't care about and can't afford. What matters to her is making a commitment in front of people they love, even though many of them won't be there (like their moms). Conrad caves again and takes her to Michael's. 'I'm so fucked,' Conrad thinks. Jeremiah, however, is doing well with his dad, who is impressed that he noted the issues with the new project. Adam says he's proud of how Jeremiah's been changing and says he supports the wedding, even offering to host it at the country club and pay for everything. Jeremiah seems to understand Belly wants to marry at Cousins, but he can't say no to his dad. On the drive to the craft store, Conrad asks Belly about how she's studying for the GRE and they chat about her interest in sports psychology. She talks about her knee injury that took her out of volleyball and how discussing it with a psychologist helped her recover. Conrad opens up and says he has been speaking with a therapist to help with his panic attacks. Belly is impressed that he's 'all grown up' and has figured out his life in California. He praises her, too, even her driving. Meanwhile, Steven has escaped work for the long weekend and runs into Denise on the train to New York. They bond over playing video games, including one of Steven's own design. They're also both going to the same gaming conference. Steven admits he wants to leave his internship after his brush with death, to do something more meaningful to him. Denise relates, saying she's worked so hard to get where she is and it's still not enough. These two have a lot in common, including a shared cab to the Javits Center. Will Steven finally get over Taylor through a train romance? At Michael's, Conrad thinks about how being in the craft aisle makes him feel like he's the one marrying Belly. He takes an unusual interest in fake flowers and convinces Belly to go look at fabric decorations, trying to keep things platonic. But Belly keeps looking gorgeous and pulling on his heartstrings. On the ride home, Conrad considers how hard it has been to stay strong in front of Belly his whole life, before suddenly admitting to her that he got fired the day of Steven's accident. 'You know nobody's perfect, right?' Belly asks him. 'Not even you.' Conrad says he does know that, but maybe he's just not cut out to be a doctor. Belly tells him to 'knuckle up and stop being such a little bitch.' She gives him a pep talk about how making mistakes is part of being alive and he doesn't have to be the hero all the time. He's right where he needs to be. Conrad promises to talk to his therapist about his hero complex. They discuss California and Belly says she's never been so far away from home, thinking of her Paris study abroad plans that she has canceled for Jere. The perfect summer day then ends at the farmer's stand, where they buy some fresh peaches. Conrad watches Belly sensually eat a peach. He wipes the peach juice off her chin with his shirt, which is not platonic behavior, and she quickly brings up Jere. Conrad promises himself he won't blow it as they arrive back at the house, thinking he should go to bed. But once again, he chooses to be close to Belly and cooks dinner. Grilled chicken and fries. Then the white wine comes out. Uh oh. Conrad goes on a wine day dream to four years ago, when he was staying at Belly's house when they were still together. Belly's mom, Laurel, had sent him to the guest room, of course, but she snuck in to cuddle with him. At the time, Susannah was getting sicker and their prom was ahead. Conrad couldn't talk to his girlfriend about how his mom's health was deteriorating. But he could make out with her. With thoughts of their love making on his mind, Conrad returns to the present in agony, wondering how things might have been different if they had stayed together all these years. Jeremiah arrives, disrupting the moment. He reveals the news that Adam is in for the wedding, to Belly's delight. Conrad has to leave the room as they get handsy with each other. As he says in his V.O., he'd 'rather have someone shoot me in the head with a nail gun repeatedly' then watch them be together. Jere and Belly watch the fireworks outside and Jeremiah explains Adam is paying for everything, too. Belly feels strange about that, saying she thought they were gonna do the wedding on their own. She gets more upset when she finds out it will be at the club and that Adam wants to invite business associates to fill the room. Jere guilts her into it by saying he was happy that it felt like his dad was 'trying' with him. Belly also thinks Susannah would have liked it. Plus, Adam's secretary Kayleigh will do the planning so she can focus on GREs and visit him more—away from Conrad. (Belly looks uncomfortable at the sound of Kayleigh's name—this is the woman Adam cheated on Susannah with.) She has also conceded to Jere's desire for a first dance song and they groove out together on the dock. Conrad watches them from his bedroom window, berating himself for messing up and luxuriating in a day alone with Belly. He then remembers a promise he made to his mom on her deathbed. In a flashback, Susannah talks to Conrad about how beautiful he is to her and how much she loves him. She also says she trusts him to take care of Jeremiah when she's gone and be a great big brother. Conrad promises to always look out for Jere, which he is now clearly interpreting as 'don't steal his bride.' It turns out Conrad left for California to keep his promise to his mother, holding Belly at a distance. He decides that no matter what could have happened between them, this is how it's meant to be: Conrad alone in his room, Jeremiah and Belly dancing under the fireworks.

‘The Summer I Turned Pretty' adds sex scene in surprising change from book

'The Summer I Turned Pretty' has managed to surprise longtime fans. In the newest episode of the popular Prime Video show, released Wednesday, Aug. 6, Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Belly (Lola Tung) get closer than ever despite Belly's upcoming wedding to Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). 8 Belly (Lola Tung) and Conrad (Chris Briney) in the newest episode of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty.' Erika Doss/Prime Although many of the scenes are straight from creator Jenny Han's book trilogy of the same name, including one where Conrad sensually wipes Belly's chin with his hand after she eats a peach, some moments from the new episode never took place in the original novel. One of those moments comes when Conrad and Belly appear during a flashback from their last night together before their split. Prime Han, who serves as co-screenwriter and executive producer of the hit Prime Video series, teased back in May that there were 'definitely changes' between her final novel of the trilogy and the show's third season. 'There are surprises,' she told Entertainment Weekly. 'And there are things that aren't exactly like the books.' Erika Doss/Prime Tung, 22, admitted that she was 'very emotional' shooting the final season after playing Belly for so long. 'I cried, naturally, many, many times,' the actress told Entertainment Weekly in July. 'I was 18 when I was first cast, and I just finished my first year of college, and I was 22 when we wrapped this year.' ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3 Episode 5 Recap: Conrad's POV Changes Everything

Spoilers ahead for The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Episode 5. It's finally time we get to hear Conrad's point of view. In The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Episode 5, Conrad takes over narration from Belly, giving us insight into his thoughts on his ex-girlfriend and his brother's upcoming wedding. Read on for a breakdown of the over one-hour episode that has everyone talking (including that peach scene!). The fifth episode picks up one week after Belly's birthday weekend, which ended with Conrad agreeing to be Jeremiah's best man. Belly is staying in Cousins after a fight with her mom, and Conrad is also there; he extended his trip after overhearing Belly cry in her room. Conrad reveals that even a week later, he's still replaying the moment Belly hugged him for baking her Dirt Bombs and agreeing to be in the wedding. While he's fixing the roof — and getting distracted by Belly swimming — he gets a call from his father, who wants his thoughts on the Jere-Belly wedding. He tells his dad that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, and that ultimately, it's Belly and Jeremiah's decision. 'I just have to stay away from her until the wedding,' Conrad convinces himself after the call. "And then she'll be my brother's wife and I won't think of her that way again." Taylor runs into Steven outside the office after she agrees to take Jeremiah to Cousins for a weekend of wedding planning. Unfortunately, Taylor's plans to go to Cousins get thrown out the window after her mom's salon inspection was moved up, meaning that it will just be Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad together for the Fourth of July. Belly and Conrad run into each other in the kitchen, where Belly is eating a Pop-Tart. Conrad says she can eat the food he left out for her, but she replies that she doesn't want to eat his food without asking. She adds that she hasn't really seen him, so she hasn't had the chance. Belly then brings up California again, saying it's unfortunate he has to go back to work before the wedding. Conrad is still lying to her and his family about what happened at the summer clinic. What's Going On Between Steven And Denise? At the office, Jeremiah hints to Steven that there's sexual tension between him and his co-worker Denise and implies that the reason Steven isn't interested is because he's still into Taylor. Jeremiah asks Steven why he hasn't asked Denise out yet as she returns to her desk. Before they leave for the weekend, Adam assigns them one last task: to check Slack. Jeremiah says he'll handle the extra work and tells Steven and Denise to leave. Plus, he wants to get on his dad's good side, and he'll just take the later train to Cousins. Steven and Denise end up on the same Amtrak train to New York, where they bond over their love of gaming. Steven eventually opens up to her, admitting that he doesn't actually like his job and wants to do something more fulfilling, especially since he almost died two weeks ago. Denise, in turn, agrees that she hates her job and wants to do something more meaningful as well. What Happens During Belly And Conrad's Wedding Errands? Back in Cousins, Belly asks Conrad for a ride to take care of some wedding planning tasks. He hesitantly says he'll be quick with the car and be right back. As she walks over to her bike, we see a flashback of a young Conrad helping Belly with her bike as she falls behind. But back in the present, he realizes that it's "not his job" to help her anymore. When he drives into town, he sees her struggling with her bags on the bike and offers her a ride. She accepts, and they stop at a flower shop. Belly tells the florist what she is looking for, explaining that it's for a beach party instead of a wedding, hoping to get a better price. After Conrad steps in and hints that it's for a wedding, the florist mistakenly assumes he's the groom (awkward!). The florist then reveals that they have a minimum spend of $5,000 for weddings, which is way out of their budget. Conrad tells Belly to just use his mom's hydrangeas. Jeremiah calls Belly and tells her that he won't be able to make it to Cousins because he's working late. When she mentions an alternative idea for a cake (without his fancy mirror glaze), he insists on the $750 cake. She breaks down to Conrad, upset that she's stuck making all the decisions they can't afford — and that she's doing all of it alone. Conrad insists that they go to Michaels before the sale ends, not wanting to let Belly miss out. 'I'm so f*cked,' his narration says. Then, in surprise change of heart, Jeremiah's dad tells him that he's proud of him, both at work and at home, and gives him and Belly his full support to move ahead with the wedding. He offers to pay for the entire wedding and wants to have it at the club instead of the house. What Do Belly And Conrad Learn About Each Other? While on their way to Michaels, Conrad asks Belly about the GRE prep book he saw, and she says she wants to be a sports psychologist. Conrad reveals that he's also going to therapy to help manage his panic attacks. They both notice new things about each other: Belly sees that Conrad is all grown up, now that he has his life in California and his career. Conrad notices that Belly's a better driver and that she wears heels now. "You don't miss a thing," she says. On the way back from the store, Conrad finally opens up to Belly. He says that he didn't just take a break this summer, he got fired the day Steven got into his accident, because he couldn't focus. Belly says there's a world where getting fired is the best thing to ever happen to you. 'You are right where you're supposed to be,' she tells him, and that he doesn't have to be the hero all the time. What Happens At The Peach Orchard Between Belly And Conrad? Belly and Conrad stop at a peach orchard on their way back home from Michaels. Belly grabs one, but Conrad doesn't because he's allergic. Instead, he watches her as she eats the 'perfect peach.' He hands her another one, which is just as good as the first. He then takes his white shirt and wipes the peach juice from her face. They stare into each other's eyes, but Belly breaks away, saying she's going to grab a couple for Jere. They cook dinner together and enjoy some wine with their meal, laughing about what happened earlier at the florist and Michaels. Conrad then has a flashback to four years ago, the last time he was at Belly's house before they broke up. He remembers that night was the last time they were together in an intimate way, and he wonders: What if he hadn't messed it up back then? But the moment is broken when Jeremiah comes home. On the dock, Jeremiah tells Belly the good news: His dad wants to pay for the wedding, but he wants to do it at the club and invite some people from work, but that throws Belly off guard. Belly eventually agrees, and says that it's the kind of wedding that his mom would have wanted. Conrad sees them dancing on the dock, and he promises himself that he won't slip up again – especially because the promises 'you make on your mother's deathbed are absolute.' What Was Conrad's Promise To His Mom? Four years ago, Susannah told Conrad she wasn't scared to die because she knew he would be okay, and Jeremiah would be okay too, because he had Conrad as a big brother. When Conrad replied that he wasn't a great brother, Susannah objected, telling him that he had always looked out for Jeremiah and always would. He agreed, promising to always be there for his brother. In the present, he said he kept his word to his mom by leaving for California. With the wedding approaching, will Conrad be able to keep his feelings at bay? Or will he have to break his promise to his mother and tell Belly how he truly feels? Season 3, Episode 5 of The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres on Wednesday, August 13 at 3 a.m. ET/12 p.m. PT on Prime Video. Check out the full release schedule below.
