Guests entered a space bathed in rich midnight-blue hues honouring this Moët & Chandon limited edition collection. Against the stunning backdrop of Kuala Lumpur's skyline stood an impressive champagne tower, artfully stacked with Moët & Chandon bottles and glasses – symbolising countless Malaysian cherished toasts and joyful moments. At the centre of it all stood the Moët & Chandon x Pharrell Williams Brut Impérial Bow Creation, a captivating 1.5L magnum adorned with an oversized, intricately crafted bow.
A sumptuous banquet, styled with lush drapery and vibrant blooms sets the stage for an evening of sensory surprises. Guided by charismatic performers, guests embarked on a playful culinary journey: each dish cleverly disguised with unexpected flavours and local twists, from a deconstructed laksa disguised as a sunny-side-up egg to bite-sized takes on Malaysian street favourites, offering a fresh reason to toast at every turn.

The Design Behind The Moët & Chandon x Pharrell Williams Collaboration
To create a distinctive and unique design for everyone's birthday, Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams delved into the archives of the House and found that, what today is the iconic tie on the bottle, was a bow in 1889. The bow symbolising togetherness, generosity, joy and surprise is one of the key elements of this Limited Edition Collection.

The box and bottleneck of Moët & Chandon's most emblematic champagne, Brut Impérial, are dressed in Gold, Midnight Blue and Deep Red. Pharrell signs his creations with white dotted lettering similar to pearls on the box and directly on the bottle. He also transforms the bottle's red royal seal into a pearled monogram of his initials, PW, interconnected and round.

Bee and Tsang, both 72, were recently in Malaysia as part of the line-up of Hong Kong stars performing at the Wow! Super! Happy 30 Years concert at Resorts World Genting on July 19. Namewee, 42, took a photo with the pair before the show and posted it on social media on July 19, writing: 'Wishing you a successful performance tonight.' The photo of the trio together made waves on social media, with several netizens slamming Bee and Tsang for being associated with Namewee, whose full name is Wee Meng Chee. The hip-hop artiste has been blacklisted in China since the release of his satirical single Fragile in 2021. The track was said to be full of barbed references to Chinese President Xi Jinping and China-related issues, such as the political status of Taiwan and censorship in China. Bee, the lead vocalist of pop group The Wynners, took to Chinese social media platform Weibo on July 20, sharing a photo of himself with a statement. K-pop superstar G-Dragon declares Malaysia 'mantap (superb)' at his two-day sold-out concerts in Bukit Jalil
For G-Dragon fans at Bukit Jalil last weekend, the party started even before the concerts at Axiata Arena. Almost 50,000 loyal fans of the superstar singer flooded the area during the weekend, and it was party from the word go. In fact, fans were already at the stadium from as early as 1pm and many even came to the venue wearing fashion ware that G-Dragon is famous for. Fans were not disappointed as G-Dragon made a triumphant return to Kuala Lumpur with a two-day performance that bedazzled his fans and many were left chanting for more. There were more cheers as G-Dragon even tried to speak Malay with the fans and even said " Saya gembira jumpa korang (I'm delighted to meet you guys)" and then of course Malaysia " mantap (superb)". He also added that he is " Syok gila (immensely happy)" and " you all enjoy tak (everyone enjoying yourself right)". It was an F1 speed show with a lot of thrills and spills as fans were immensely enjoying themselves during the two-plus-hour show. In short, the show presented by Hong Leong, the 2025 World Tour [Übermensch] simply dazzled Malaysian fans with a visually stunning and incredibly powerful vocal performance that proved the K-pop icon's continued global influence. Promoted by AEG Presents, TME Live, Star Planet, and Top Top Production, the tour attracted fans from across Malaysia and neighbouring countries. Over 20,000 attendees packed the arena across the two days, thoroughly enjoying themselves. During the concert, fans even went wilder when G-Dragon made a special announcement when he said his super group Big Bang is also getting back together next year. "You know what, guys, next year, is Big Bang's 20th anniversary celebration. And we will be back together," said G-Dragon as the fans were celebrating wildly at the venue. Like G-Dragon, the group Big Bang is also among the super icons in the K-pop industry and has many international super hits during their long music career. "It has been an incredible journey, thus far. And I hope it keeps getting better in the time to come.
