Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan is back with another vlog with her cook Dilip. This time, she visited actor Shruti Haasan's Mumbai house. In the video, Farah recalled approaching her father, legendary actor Kamal Haasan, for Suniel Shetty's character Raghavan Datta in her film Main Hoon Na. During the vlog, Shruti also opened up about her upcoming movie Coolie, and revealed learning how to cook in the US, due to high cost of Indian foods.
Before ringing the doorbell, Farah gave the background introduction to Dilip. She said, 'Inke daddy poore India mein bahut bade star hain, and yeh Chennai mein bahut badi star hain vahan par (Her dad is a huge national star and she is also a big celebrity in Chennai). 'Ma'am, mere jitni badi star? (As big as me),' he questioned. 'Tere jaisa bada star toh koi ho hi nahi sakta hai na. Shah Rukh Khan hoyega ek din tere jitna bada star,' she replied. In fact, even while greeting them, Shruti herself addressed Dilip as the 'asli star' (real star).
After welcoming them to her house, Shruti joked and shared that people aren't able to understand the theme of her house. 'You know what everyone says? Itna paisa kamaaya, paint bhi nahi lagaaya usne (she earned so much money, but didn't paint the house).' 'I love the industrial feel, I love it,' Farah reaffirmed, while handing over a tiffin full of mutton gravy dish to her.

While chatting later, the filmmaker revealed that the actor's father Kamal Haasan was the first choice for her famous 2004 film Main Hoon Na. 'Vo first choice the, you know the story of not? He was supposed to play, but then Suniel Shetty played the role. I have gone to your Chennai office. I narrated it to him, but then he very politely asked me to **ck off from there.'
While exploring the living area, the Tees Maar Khan director asked her about the story behind a black knife kept in the showcase. 'My dad gifted this to me, a chaaku. He collects chaakus,' Shruti shared. 'Trust your dad to…ofcourse. Kamal sir aur kya hi desakte the. So nice, beautiful,' Farah responded.
When Farah Khan asked if she cooks food, the actor recalled her time in the US earlier and revealed, 'I love cooking. Especially since I went to America and I started missing Indian food. Idli costs $20 there. I was like, 'I'll learn, no problem'. Both my parents are really grounded.'
Shruti also asked Farah whether Dilip gets anything extra for his work in YouTube videos, 'Does Dilip get extra royalty or extra fees for YouTube videos?' Without revealing much detail, the filmmaker replies, 'Yes, he gets a lot… more than everyone here put together.' Shruti then explained her concern, 'We were just worried about Dilip,' to which Farah said, 'Don't be worried about him, be worried about me.'
Towards the end of the vlog, Shruti Haasan spoke about her film Coolie, which stars an ensemble cast, including superstar Rajinikanth. 'I am very excited. I didn't know that it is going to come to me. The director Lokesh came to me, as I was going to cast him in my music video. So, I called him for work and he did ulta and offered me Coolie.'
Meanwhile, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, Coolie is set to hit the big screen on August 14. The film features Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Aamir Khan.

RPG Group present #KarDikha India - an action manifesto that reimagines freedom as a responsibility

RPG Group present #KarDikha India - an action manifesto that reimagines freedom as a responsibility PRNewswire Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 14: Freedom finds a fresh beat this Independence Day. Kar Dikha -- a spoken word and rap anthem by RPG Group -- redefines azaadi for today's India: not as a moment in history, but as a daily responsibility. RPG Group emphasizes the call to show up, take ownership, and shape a better India, stating: azaadi sirf paane ki nahi, nibhane ki bhi kahani hai. The music video draws from real stories across RPG Group and Mumbai -- factory workers keeping industry moving, neurodivergent employees at Raychem RPG breaking stereotypes, Pehlay Akshar children finding their voice, Koli women entrepreneurs driving change, and Worli's youth using hip-hop to reclaim their narrative. "Freedom is not just a gift we inherit, it's a duty we live every day. Kar Dikha is our call to every Indian to turn that duty into action," saysUdayan Dutt, President - Group HR, RPG Enterprises. The video embodies RPG Group's values of Touching Lives and Hello Happiness, measuring progress not in numbers, but in the lives uplifted. Composed and produced by Mumbai hip-hop pioneer Instine, with verses by Yeda Anna (Maddy), the track blends Indian sounds with modern beats -- a soundscape where grit meets hope. Shot by Alphabooom, the video is a tribute to everyday courage that rarely makes headlines. "This wasn't just a track -- it's an action manifesto set to music. Collaborating with RPG, every note was shaped to carry unity and every beat to echo courage. Independence isn't just about waving a flag, it's about standing up together and hold that hope for a better, brighter, happier India," said Instine, the project's executive producer. With its unapologetic tone and raw energy, Kar Dikha speaks directly to Gen Z and young India -- asking them to own the nation's future. This is our country; the responsibility to keep it moving forward is on us. "Collaborating with RPG felt magical. Seeing how deeply we are connected through this initiative was inspiring. I'm grateful to be part of something so impactful," said Yeda Anna. The music video is now streaming on YouTube and major platforms, with short form edits on Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and more.
