Kush Shah
, best known for playing Goli, the son of
Dr. Haathi
in
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
, stepped away from the show last year to pursue higher studies in the USA. His departure was an emotional one, with his co-stars getting teary-eyed on his final day of shooting.
Recently, during an appearance on the Just Kidding with Sid podcast, Kush reminisced about one of his favorite behind-the-scenes moments from the show.
He fondly recalled Bollywood superstar
Shah Rukh Khan
's visit to the set and shared some delightful anecdotes from the experience.
Recalling SRK's appearance on TMKOC to promote
Happy New Year
, Kush shared, "There have been many favourite moments. But one that has been most memorable was working with SRK.
I have been lucky to have worked with Shah Rukh Khan. I have been with him thrice and I've worked with other stars also when they visited our show. Shah Rukh was on our set for 12 hours and I'm not kidding. Koi nahi raha itna 12 ghanta, he was on the set. Around 4 am we all were very hungry and Shah Rukh ordered idli from a random Anna.
He sent his driver to get idli from local Anna. We sat together and idli and vada. That was my best and crazy memory."
He further revealed how they watched KRK's IPL match in Shah Rukh's vanity, "In fact, we sat in his vanity van and watched the
KKR match
toh ye amazing cheez hai na yaar. I mean who does this. Nothing beats that. The experience was amazing, he came on the show for Happy New Year, Chennai Express and Dilwale. Mazee aagaye."
Kush, who quit the show last year after working for 16 years, shared he was never affected by Bollywood celebrities' stardom but he was in awe of SRK's aura. He went on to praise the Jawan actor for his dedication, he revealed, "Whenever celebrities came on the show, I used to have a blast because I was never starstruck. I used to always feel okay, fine they are actors and I never cared. But SRK's aura was very different. He is so diligent at what he does.
He knows his lines, your lines and everything that is going to happen in the script. 30 page ki script hai unko ratta hai (he would memorise the entire script). It was a great experience."

New Delhi: Virat Kohli's team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), finally lifted the IPL trophy after 18 long years. Celebrating the victory, the cricketer's sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram. Bhawna, who is a numerologist by profession, posted a series of pictures of Virat from the match. The carousel also included snaps featuring Virat's wife, actress Anushka Sharma. In her caption Bhawna wrote, "This night, this moment where we celebrate this dream which made us cry, which made us laugh; but the wait that you did is far too long. Each and every second of the moment needs to be experienced with stillness and a strange calmness that it's actually done." She added, "All of us can't express the humility and thankfulness towards almighty and millions of fans who were right behind RCB through thick and thin. This win is everybody's personal win. Your tears were felt in the eyes of everyone who loves you. We cried with you because you, my little Veeru, are god's chosen one who brings so much joy and inspiration in everyone.
