However, as Gillis continued his set, the reaction turned mixed, with some in the audience laughing hesitantly while others remained visibly uncomfortable.

Rai said, 'I don't get it, how can they do this? It's an ending people have loved! If not the filmmaker, at least listen to the audience.' He further criticised the need for a so-called 'happy ending'. 'What is a happy ending? It's a tragedy, that's an emotion. How can you meddle with emotions? The voice of the film lies in that ending,' he added. Oppn slams govt over hospital killing
Patna: The opposition in Bihar on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the Nitish Kumar-led govt over the law and order situation after a convicted prisoner was shot dead inside a private hospital in Patna. Citing the daylight murder as evidence of administrative collapse, several political leaders expressed alarm at the state's deteriorating security environment. Independent MP from Purnia, Pappu Yadav, met governor Arif Mohammed Khan and demanded the imposition of President's Rule. "The entire system has collapsed in Bihar. The only option left is the imposition of President's Rule in the state," he told the reporters.
