Official: Álvaro Morata leaves Galatasaray
Álvaro Morata has ended his loan spell at Galatasaray, paving the way for a return to Serie A. The 32-year-old Spanish striker, still under contract with AC Milan, has reached an agreement with Como.
Morata arrived at Milan last summer but failed to make a lasting impression (5 goals in 16 Serie A matches) before being loaned out in January to the Turkish club, where he scored 6 goals and provided 1 assist in 12 Süper Lig appearances.
Galatasaray has confirmed the termination of the loan deal. Milan will pay €5 million to terminate the contract, with Morata forgoing €651,562 in salary. Como are expected to pay €5 million for the loan, which includes a mandatory purchase option.

Zazzaroni: ‘Gasperini Would Let Roma Sell Manu Kone If They Can Complete The Squad'

Gian Piero Gasperini would allow Roma to sell Inter Milan target Manu Kone if it allows them to complete their squad. This according to Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni, via FCInterNews. Last week, news emerged that Inter Milan are interested in Roma midfielder Manu Kone. The Frenchman has come into the Nerazzurri's sights as a reinforcement in holding midfield. Reports indicate that Inter put a bid of around €45 million on the table. However, subsequent reports indicated that the Giallorossi have decided not to accept Inter's offer. That despite the fact that the capital club are facing a somewhat difficult financial situation. Therefore, there is no hiding the fact that a sale of a player like Kone for a substantial fee could certainly be a big help for Roma financially. He admitted that Roma are within Financial Fair Play constraints, and that a sale of the Frenchman could be helpful. Zazzaroni comments that 'Kone isn't unsellable.' 'He would accept a sacrifice. But only if it allows them to complete the squad.' Meanwhile, Zazzaroni reports that 'Friedkin has never vetoed the idea of a sale.'

Forest seal swoop for Ipswich's Hutchinson

Nottingham Forest signed Ipswich forward Omari Hutchinson in a deal worth a reported £37.5 million ($50 million) on Saturday. Hutchinson agreed a five-year contract with the Premier League club on the eve of their season opener against Brentford on Sunday. The 21-year-old played 32 times for Ipswich as they were relegated from the Premier League last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists. "I'm really excited to be here and can't wait to get started. I've played at the City Ground a few times and it's always felt like a hostile atmosphere, so I'm looking forward to playing here with the fans behind us," Hutchinson said. "I'm going to give it my all and I'm looking forward to the challenge as it's a new chapter for me, but I feel ready." Since the end of last season, Forest have signed Switzerland international Dan Ndoye and Botafoga duo Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha. They also convinced captain Morgan Gibbs-White to sign a long-term contract amid reported interest from Tottenham. Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo had expressed frustration with the club's transfer activity in the summer. But the move for Hutchinson and an expected £30 million deal for Manchester City midfielder James McAtee should ease his concerns ahead of a campaign that will feature Forest in Europa League action. smg/ea

Man City, Tottenham Hit With Positive Update Regarding PSG Target Interest

Maghnes Akliouche has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in this summer's transfer window, attracting interest from PSG and Manchester City following a standout season with AS Monaco. At 23, he has cemented himself as one of Ligue 1's top talents, and a move abroad appears increasingly possible. According to a previous report from L'Équipe, Manchester United have now joined the race, raising the prospect of a bidding war with their Premier League rivals. Monaco are reportedly asking between €70 million and €80 million for the midfielder, a high price that hasn't deterred any of the clubs tracking him, making a summer transfer seem more likely. The Mirror recently noted that Tottenham have scouted Akliouche, though it remains unclear whether they plan to act immediately or wait before making a move. Bayer Leverkusen's chance to sign PSG target dwindleOn Saturday, Sky Sport Germany's Florian Plettenberg reported that Bayer 04 Leverkusen now view their chances of signing Akliouche as slim. While he remains a dream target, the price and competition have made a deal unlikely. Manchester City have now entered the race for the 23-year-old and Plettenberg adds that Akliouche is undoubtedly one to watch as Deadline Day approaches. In May, 90min France reported that Manchester City and PSG have recently stepped up their interest, making a summer departure more likely. Monaco are now believed to be asking for around €70 million. Pep Guardiola is reportedly a fan of Akliouche's left-footed playmaking and ability to fill multiple roles, qualities that could make him a natural fit to succeed Bernardo Silva.
