Jadon Sancho's Juventus transfer takes twist with surprising offer
One of the deals they have been working on is finding an exit route for Jadon Sancho, who Chelsea rejected the chance to sign earlier in the window.

Juventus negotiations
The Red Devils have been involved in dialogue for weeks with Juventus over the transfer of Sancho.
He has reportedly made it clear to United that the Old Lady are his club of choice and his current employers will seemingly grant him this wish.
Sancho has reportedly lowered his wage demands and United have also allegedly agreed an exit fee of around €25 million.
This led to reports in the Italian media that a deal has been 'settled' between all parties.
Surprise low bid
Interestingly, there were reports that United could even grease the wheels further by lowering their transfer demand to £15 million (€17.31 million).

Adding to this side of the story, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, broke the news late last night that Juventus have tabled a bid significantly lower than the €25 million that had previously been discussed.
Di Marzio reports that, 'Juventus continues to pursue the prospect of Jadon Sancho. The Bianconeri have made a new offer to Manchester United.'
Juve are so keen on the player, that they may even make a deal for the winger even if they sign Francisco Conceiçao.
Nonetheless, if the Portugal international were to sign, it is suggested that they would need to sell two wingers to fund a move for Sancho.

The report also asserts that 'For Sancho, the Bianconeri have put forward an offer of €10 million plus €5 million in bonuses.'
How will United respond?
The Red Devils find themselves in between a rock and a hard place. The new owners are keen to implement the idea that United are no longer to be taken advantage of in the market and will want to stand firm on their previous valuation.
On the other hand, their summer has become paralysed with no incomings due to the lack of sales and perhaps the club would just be better off sanctioning a cheaper deal for Sancho to kick start their summer of sales.

Hufanga, a fifth-round pick in 2021, was an All-Pro the following season before injuries hampered him in his final two seasons with the Niners. Both got lucrative contracts in free agency that San Francisco was unwilling to match as the Niners spent the offseason trying to get younger and cheaper on defense. The new-look defense that could feature as many as eight new starters this season gets one of its first big tests this week and defensive coordinator Robert Saleh is excited to see how his young players fare. 'The challenge now is going to be a completely new opponent with no preparation because we're not preparing for Denver,' Saleh said. 'We're just lining up. Just throwing it on the field and seeing how they play. So, we're really excited to see how it goes and fully expecting some lumps along the way. But one thing is for certain, I do think that their competitive drive is going to be there.' Shanahan typically likes joint practices but had to cancel his only session last summer against New Orleans because the Niners were dealing with too many injuries. San Francisco also will hold a one-day joint practice next week before playing the Las Vegas Raiders. 'I think it's really valuable,' Shanahan said. 'Sometimes you can't do it. I'd always would like to do it. I'm more excited just going against someone once. In the past I've always done two days, and I'm always really excited by the end of the first day. I'm always wishing we didn't have to go the second day. So, kind of glad we're ahead of that on this. It's always good to go against different schemes too. Different players. We're going against each other every day. Same guys, same scheme. It gets a little bit old and it's a good way to switch it up.' Shanahan said the second day of joint practices sometimes leads to fights as the team that fared worse on the first day comes out more aggressive on day two. Shanahan said he and Broncos coach Sean Payton will script out the session ahead of time and that Denver will offer a stiff challenge thanks to one of the league's top defenses and a strong offensive line. 'I think the Broncos have a very good team,' Shanahan said. 'They were sneaky good last year. You could see them improve throughout the whole year. German club pull out of transfer of Israel international over Gaza social media posts
Fortuna Dusseldorf have pulled out of a deal to sign Shon Weissman due to the player's social media comments on the Israel-Gaza war, which the club say are 'not compatible' with their values. The 2. Bundesliga club had agreed a deal to sign the Israel international forward from Spanish club Granada, but did not proceed with the move after social media posts from Weissman resurfaced. The 29-year-old had already travelled to Dusseldorf and underwent medical tests ahead of completing his move. However, on Tuesday, Dusseldorf posted on their social media: 'We looked into Shon Weissman intensively, but ultimately decided not to sign him.'
