Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez's relationship timeline
Ronaldo has been dating Rodriguez for eight years.
The soccer star first stepped out publicly with the brunette beauty, who was a sales assistant when he met her, at the Best FIFA Football awards back in Zurich back in 2017. The couple went Instagram official in May of that same year.
The couple share four children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, Alana, and Bella. Ronaldo also has a 15-year-old son, Christano Jr., from a previous relationship.
While the couple have managed to lead a semi-private life, Rodriguez opened up about their early years of dating on her Netflix series "I am Georgina."
"Many times he'd come after work," Rodriguez, who was previously a Gucci store assistant, recalled of her now-fiancé. "He would come, I remember once, in a Bugatti. My coworkers went crazy. They get there on the bus, and I would leave in a Bugatti. I mean, people couldn't believe it."
"It was funny because I would wait for her outside the store in these flashy cars I have. ... We would go home, and there we would go into our own world," Ronaldo added.

While it hasn't been confirmed, a jeweler told "In Style," the diamond ring appears to be in the 20-25 carat range.
Kegan Fisher, co-founder of the fine jewelry brand Frank Darling told the outlet, "it appears to be a platinum oval three-stone setting with petite double-claw prongs, giving it a refined, elevated feel while keeping all eyes on that mega center stone."

Billy Joel Sounds Like 'Bob Dylan if He Had a Cartoon Show' in Hilarious Resurfaced Interview

Billy Joel Sounds Like 'Bob Dylan if He Had a Cartoon Show' in Hilarious Resurfaced Interview originally appeared on Parade. While Billy Joel is unquestionably one of the most successful and beloved musicians of all time, that doesn't mean he hasn't looked to other iconic rock stars for advice from time to time throughout the course of his when he revealed the helpful advice Bob Dylan once gave him, it ended up being one of the funniest moments in late night history. During a recently resurfaced 1997 appearance on Late Night With David Letterman, Joel opened up about what happened when he met Dylan backstage at a performance in Milan, Italy. As Joel explained, he took the opportunity to ask Dylan a very important question. "I said, 'How do you do it, Bob? How do you remember all these words?'' Joel recalled, before going into a Dylan impression to share his response, adding, ''Oh, that's easy. Just go over in the dressing room and take a look on the coffee table.'' "You sound like Bob Dylan if he had a cartoon show," Letterman quipped, laughing at Joel's attempt at a Dylan voice. 'So, I look over on the coffee table, and there is a store-bought book, Bob Dylan's The Songs of Bob Dylan," Joel continued. "He's got them all right there," he added. "He's got this big book on the coffee table. And I say, 'Well, okay, but how do you read the lyrics on-stage?' He goes, 'Well, I really can't read them. I just feel good knowing they're there.' It's like a security blanket. And I've actually started doing it. I put a little book of lyrics on the piano. Of course, you can't dive into them in the middle of a song. But it just makes you feel a little bit better. There they are.' That's not the only time Joel gave fans a laugh with behind-the-scenes story about Dylan, either. During an interview with Howard Stern, Joel remembered what it was like recording "We Are the World" with Dylan in 1985, per I Love Classic Rock, explaining that Dylan was hesitant about singing his part until Stevie Wonder stepped in to help with his vocals. 'Stevie Wonder teaching Bob Dylan to sing like Bob Dylan was a moment," Joel said at the Joel Sounds Like 'Bob Dylan if He Had a Cartoon Show' in Hilarious Resurfaced Interview first appeared on Parade on Aug 12, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 12, 2025, where it first appeared.

That Diamond Engagement Ring From Cristiano Ronaldo Is 50 Carats And Worth $3 Million, Appraisers Say

The diamond ring soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo used to propose to his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez could be as large as 50 carats, appraisers told Forbes, making it larger than the famous sparklers given to Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian and Lauren Sánchez. Elizabeth Taylor wears a 69-carat diamond around her neck and her 33-carat engagement ring, both from and Richard Burton, at the 1970 Oscars. Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images Rodriguez announced the pair's engagement after eight years of dating on Monday with a photo that focused on her ring. It drew instant headlines and attention—the sparking center stone reaches to Rodriguez's knuckle—and appraisers told Forbes it's among the 'rarest and most exquisite diamonds in the world.' Kristian Spofforth, a jewelry specialist with Heritage Auctions, said the diamond seems to be an oval-cut stone of approximately 50 carats with a D colour grade—the highest on the scale—and likely a clarity of VVS1 or better. Traditional diamonds are valued in part by how closely they approach colorlessness on a scale from D to Z and based on their clarity, or flawlessness (a VVS1 is the second-highest clarity rating and means a stone has only minute flaws that are difficult for a skilled grader to see under 10x magnification). The metal used for Rodriguez's ring isn't immediately clear from images posted online, but Spodforth said 'the setting is elegant, minimal and perfectly tailored to showcase the stone's natural beauty.' Gemologist appraiser Deborah Villepigue said she estimates the center stone to be a little bigger, between 55 and 60 carats, and the ring to be worth roughly $3 million. How Does Georgina Rodriguez's Ring Compare To Other Famous Engagement Rings? Few stars have flaunted diamonds bigger than Rodriguez's, but two stand out. Rapper Gucci Mane famously gave his wife Keyshia Ka'oir a 60-carat, oval cut diamond ring in 2019 as an upgrade to the 25-carat ring he proposed with two years earlier, and Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor a 69.42-carat, pear-shaped stone he purchased for her in 1969. Burton reportedly bought the diamond from Cartier for $1 million, the equivalent of about $8.6 million today. Rodriguez's ring is larger than the initial Harry Winston ring Burton used to propose to Taylor in 1968, which featured a 33.19-carat Asscher-cut diamond. Burton reportedly outbid Winston himself for that ring for $305,000, the highest price ever paid at auction for a diamond ring at the time. Rodriguez's ring also out-sizes some of the most-talked-about celebrity rings in recent memory, including Mariah Carey's 35-carat emerald-cut ring from billionaire James Packer, which was designed by Wilfredo Rosado and valued at $10 million. Other famous rings include the $8 million, 15-carat cushion-cut diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz that Kim Kardashian received from Kanye West, and the $5 million, 30-carat pink diamond billionaire Jeff Bezos used to propose to Lauren Sánchez. Sanchez was also spotted wearing another 30-to-40 carat oval diamond ring, estimated to be worth around $4 million, at her Venice wedding earlier this summer. Both of her rings were designed by Schwartz. Cristiano Ronaldo with Georgina Rodriguez in 2019. AFP via Getty Images Key Background Ronaldo and Rodriguez appeared publicly together for the first time in 2017 alongside his son from a previous relationship, Cristiano Jr. Six months later, in June, Ronaldo welcomed twins Eva and Mateo via surrogate. He has never shared the identity of the mother of his first three children. Rodriguez gave birth to her first child with Ronaldo in November 2017 and announced she was pregnant with twins in October of 2021. One of the children died in childbirth. The pair first sparked engagement rumors in November of 2018 and fans have speculated about their relationship status since. In July 2024, Ronaldo hinted that he and Rodriguez might have married after the soccer star referred to her as his "wife,' but his publicist told People, "At this time, I have no knowledge of whether or not Cristiano is married to Georgina." Netflix chronicled the daily life of Rodriguez in a reality series called "I Am Georgina" that aired for three seasons. Forbes Valuation Ronaldo, 40, was ranked by Forbes as the world's highest paid athlete this year. He is estimated to have made $275 million in the last year and, in 2020, became the first active team-sport athlete to surpass $1 billion in career earnings. In addition to a lifetime deal with Nike and other endorsements, Ronaldo earns money off the pitch from his CR7-branded clothing, accessories, hotels and gyms. BBC Radio Scotland's Bryan Burnett to return to airwaves after cancer treatment

BBC Radio Scotland presenter Bryan Burnett will return to the airwaves on Thursday after undergoing cancer treatment. The broadcaster announced in June he would step back from his programme Get It On to receive care for appendix cancer. Fellow presenter Grant Stott, who stepped in during his absence, announced his return to listeners on Tuesday night. He said: 'In what must have been a terrible time for Bryan and his family and close friends, I'm just delighted I was able to help by looking after something that is very precious to Bryan; Get It On and his listeners. 'Getting to do the show over this time has shown me just how close the audience is to Bryan and vice versa. 'I know they will be delighted to get their radio teatime pal back.' Burnett said his treatment had been successful and thanked those who had wished him well throughout his recovery. Commenting on his return, he said: 'I am delighted to be returning to work following successful treatment for appendix cancer. 'Over the past few months I have been focused on my recovery and have been supported by an incredible medical team, my family and friends, and the overwhelming kindness of so many BBC Radio Scotland listeners who have reached out with encouragement and well-wishes. 'Their messages, cards and kindness have meant so much. 'My team at the BBC have also been a huge support and I want to thank Grant Stott, who has been sitting in for me and done such a great job looking after the show. 'My return to work will be gradual to ensure I maintain my health and energy. Cancer has given me a renewed perspective on what matters most and I am excited about the road ahead and grateful for the opportunity to return to doing what I'm passionate about.' Hayley Valentine, director BBC Scotland, said: 'Like the Get it On listeners, everyone at BBC Scotland is delighted to be welcoming Bryan back to the studio following what has been a tough couple of months for him. We look forward to seeing and hearing him back where he belongs.' Stott will share Get it On presenting duties with Bryan during his phased return. Burnett's first Get it On show will be Thursday 14 August 14 6pm to 8pm.
