West Vigo High School holds new documentary screening.
WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Wednesday evening, West Vigo High School hosted an event for a special film screening.
Michael Husain, a West Vigo graduate, is an award-winning director who focuses on documentaries. Those who attended got to see his latest project called, 'The Waiting Game'. The film brings light to the American Basketball Association and its battle with the rise of the NBA and unanswered promises to their players. Husain said he remembers watching the ABA games when he was in high school.
'It was just a part of my childhood, and when I heard that they were struggling, the guys that I watched some of them were struggling,' said Husain. 'Well, that's a story that needs to be told.'

WATCH: Terre Haute Strawberry Festival returns this week
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Strawberry Festival is coming up this Thursday, June 12 outside of the First Congregational Church of Terre Haute. The festival is free to enter. It runs from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. outside of the church. Chances and Services for Youth is partnering up with organizers to put on this year's annual festival. You can see the full interview at the top of the page. Attendees can purchase the strawberry 'works' treat for $10, which includes a sweet biscuit, strawberries, ice cream and whipped topping. There will be tables for people to sit and enjoy their treats, while listening to live music. There will also be a play area for children. 'Come back out and relive those memories you've had or if it's your first time, see what memories you will make. Bring the family, bring friends, make an afternoon out of it. Enjoy the music. Clay City Softball captures second semi-state title
ELNORA, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Clay City defeats Indianapolis Lutheran 3-0 to capture the program's second ever semi-state title. Karlee Smith homered for the Eels. Lizzy Sinders pitched a complete-game two-hit shutout in the circle. Clay City will face North Newton in the 1A State Finals. The game will be at 5:30 p.m. ET on June 13th at Purdue University.
