Sophie Cunningham goes viral after accidentally performing very racy act mid-game

Daily Mail28-07-2025
Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham has gone viral after accidentally sitting on a cameraman's face during their win on Sunday night.
In their game against the Chicago Sky - which the Fever won 93-78 despite Caitlin Clark 's absence - Cunningham was sent tumbling after a foul by Rebecca Allen.
The 28-year-old was unable to regain her balance and eventually fell on top of one of the cameramen sat courtside - and accidentally sat on his face as she landed.
The Fever star was so focused on watching her shot attempt that she did not initially realize that she'd fallen on top of him and stayed perched for a brief moment.
When she did realize, Cunningham quickly sprang to her feet and was visibly stunned at the cameraman, who offered little reaction to the Fever star landing on his face.
The moment was caught on broadcast cameras and spotted by those in attendance, before going viral on social media later in the night.

One account on X which posted the clip, wrote: 'Sophie Cunningham sat on the cameraman's face and bro didn't move an inch'.
Though she made a splash on social media with the unfortunate incident, the same could not be said about her impact on the court on the night.
Cunningham recorded just five points and one rebound in 31 minutes against the Sky. Thankfully, her teammates were able to help out and ensure the win for the Fever.
The incident comes just days after Cunningham slammed the WNBA after revealing she was fined $500 for criticizing referees.
The guard, who has been christened Caitlin Clark 's 'enforcer' this season, recently released a TikTok in which she called out 'some refs' in the league.
Clark is among the other stars to have clashed with officials but Cunningham has now been punished over her comments.
In the viral video, she wrote '@ some refs' while mouthing a line from Sabrina Carpenter's hit, 'Manchild.' The lyrics she lip-synced were: 'Stupid. Or is it slow? Maybe, it's useless'
On Wednesday, Cunningham took to social media once more to reveal her punishment and mock the WNBA.
'I got fined $500 for this TikTok,' Cunningham wrote on X alongside several laughing emojis.

Rihanna shows off baby bump as she is spotted out in LA wearing £2.1k marshmallow-inspired designer dress

PREGNANT Rihanna shows off her baby Flump — sorry, bump — in a bonkers outfit the colour of the marshmallow treat. The singer, 37, was seen out and about in Los Angeles in a pink and orange dress. And the Barbadian star's vintage 2001 Issey Miyake frock cost a lot more than the sweets — at just over £2,100. Rihanna, expecting her third baby in weeks, is no stranger to confectionery-themed fashion, wearing a Haribo Heart Throbs-style red dress in 2016. The pregnant star also showed off her huge bare baby bump while going out for dinner in LA at her favorite eatery. The business mogul, who announced her pregnancy earlier this year, looked ready to pop. Stepping out to head for dinner at her favorite Italian restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, Rihanna put her bump on display. Giorgio Baldi is a "luxurious family-run Italian spot near the ocean" which serves seafood and pasta. While heading out for food at the spot, Rihanna looked sensational in a navy suit, sheer mesh bra and polka dot tie. The mother-of-two wore her navy blazer open at the front, with her bump showing. She wore her hair slicked back, and kept her makeup natural and soft, yet glamorous. Junior Caminero homers twice to lift Rays over Angels

August 6 - Christopher Morel hit a go-ahead home run to lead off the seventh inning and Junior Caminero homered twice as the visiting Tampa Bay Rays spoiled another record-setting day by Mike Trout with a 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday afternoon. Nick Fortes also homered, Jonny DeLuca tripled and Brandon Lowe had two hits for Tampa Bay, which claimed its second series win since the All-Star break. Garrett Cleavinger (1-4) picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief and Pete Fairbanks pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to record his 19th save. Trout hit a three-run homer, the 398th of his career, moving him into a tie with Dale Murphy for 61st place on the all-time home run list. It was Trout's 200th career homer at Anaheim Stadium, putting him in the record books as the first player in major league history to compile 100 stolen bases and 200 home runs in the same stadium. He and Luis Rengifo both went 2-for-4 with a run scored for Los Angeles. Ryan Zeferjahn (6-4) suffered the loss for the Angels, who finished a 13-game homestand with just a 6-7 record. Starter Tyler Anderson left after allowing four runs, including three home runs, on five hits in four innings to extend his team record to 19 straight starts without a victory. Tampa Bay took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run homer by Caminero, a 447-foot drive to left-center, driving in Chandler Simpson, who had singled. Fortes made it 3-0 in the second inning with his third home run. Caminero then extended the lead to 4-0 in the third with his 30th home run of the season and second of the game, a 404-foot drive to center. Los Angeles tied the game 4-4 in the bottom of the third on Trout's 20th homer, a 433-foot three-run drive into the bullpen in left. It followed an RBI single by Nolan Schanuel. Morel, who had struck out in his six previous at-bats in the series, put the Rays back ahead, 5-4, in the seventh when he hit Zeferjahn's first pitch into the seats down the left field line for his eighth home run. The Angels loaded the bases with no outs in the eighth against reliever Griffin Jax on an infield single by Trout, a walk by Taylor Ward and catcher interference to put Jo Adell on base. But Jax rebounded with consecutive strikeouts of Logan O'Hoppe, Rengifo and Christian Moore to end the threat. --Field Level Media
