Friends or foes? All the MAFSAU season 12 cast who are still friends – and who's definitely not
If you're anything like us, the most recent series of Married at First Sight Australia left you veritably gagged.
While the show wrapped up in the UK at the beginning of May, here at Cosmo UK HQ, we've still been living for the season 12 drama, twists and turns for weeks now. In fact, we think all the after-the-show IG sleuthing, ex-spouse social media shading and unofficial cast reunions may well be almost as good as the actual show itself.
Given our interest in the MAFSAU cast post-show, we've gained a serious curiosity about the couples who are still together. But what about the rest of the cast? Who is on good terms, and who seems to be feuding?
After scouring post-show interviews, social media interactions, and various shady comments from the cast, we've pulled together our list of who from the cast are still friends and who may not be on good terms.
To read more, scroll below!
The most recent MAFSAU cohort, thankfully, appear to remain pretty close-knit (apart from a handful of cast members who are on the outs). Here are some of the strongest, and most surprising friendships post-show:
While Billy and Dave maybe weren't the luckiest in love during the experiment, they each left with a veritable BFF in one another. While their bromance was obvious on the show, it has blossomed since filming stopped.
"Me and Dave are looking at moving in together, we're looking at travelling the world together," said Billy in a video with Nine.
"And this is one thing that I'm really, genuinely so happy about. OK, I didn't come out with a partner but I have come out with a best friend and I'm so grateful for that, I feel like I've won."
Jeff is also on good terms with Dave, telling Nine: "Dave's in Melbourne, so I speak to him pretty much every day. I see him multiple times a week."
Plenty of the girlies from MAFSAU are on good terms.
"I see Carina, Beth, Awhina, Jamie, Ash and Katie," Rhi has told Mamma Mia regarding who she keeps in contact with.
"We all got together for my birthday, the seven of us. I've stayed in close contact with all of the girls, and even this weekend we had a party with Daily Mail and all the girls were there. It was so lovely to all catch up again."
However, we're most interested in the fate of Jamie, Awhina and Beth - three on-screen friends who seriously had each other's backs. Well, their friendship seems to be going strong: they've featured in multiple TikToks together following the show.
In a cute moment, Awhina even told the Daily Mail that she "didn't leave with a husband" but, instead, "with a wife" in reference to her friendship with Jamie.
In a video with Nine, Eliot also shared that he was on close terms with Jamie! "Jamie's a beautiful person, it's been incredible watching her journey," he said, suggesting a friendship between the two. (FYI, the duo have already quashed dating rumours).
Eliot has also filmed TikTok content featuring the likes of Jamie, Beth and Awhina so clearly he gets on with the girls from the experiment.
With such a drama-filled season, you can imagine that there may still be some difficult feelings between members of the cast. Here's what they seem to be saying about one another:
It appears that Jamie and Carina are no longer close according to comments made by Jamie.
'Carina, I'm sure if there's like a pap photo or something, she might be there, or a girl's reunion, she might be there. But you know, she's not someone who reaches out or checks in or anything like that,' Jamie shared to Pedestrian TV.
'I don't think she's really interested in having friendships with the cast.'
Eliot and Dave don't seem to make direct comments about one another in the press. However, Eliot has been making some TikToks which may suggest a level of ill-will towards Dave.
In one instance, he shared a TikTok which began with a clip of Dave drinking coconut water. The video then cuts to Eliot and Jamie drinking coconut water together while wearing fluffy robes in bed.
Given that Jamie and Dave were an item on MAFSAU, it definitely seems like a bit of a pointed reference...
Two brides who don't seem to be on the best of terms? Veronica and Beth.
Following the show, Beth was asked in a video if any MAFSAU brides were sliding into other grooms' DMs. 'She's not here… Veronica! I'm sure she's been sliding into every husband's but her own,' she said.
Veronica was quick to reply, commenting under the video: 'Do you have receipts or are you just running your mouth? Asking for a friend.'

Prince William appears to take dig at brother Prince Harry in rare family comment
Blood isn't always thicker than water. Prince William appeared to take a subtle dig at Prince Harry during a royal outing to the regiment once associated with his younger brother. The incident unfolded on Wednesday, June 4, when the 42-year-old heir apparent visited the Army Air Corps (ACC) in Wattisham, Suffolk. It marked William's first time touring the regiment since becoming the colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps, and he made a rare comment about family while taking a water break with a group of British soldiers. 'Is the pace of life good at the moment?' the Prince of Wales asked, according to Daily Mail. 'Families okay? See you enough?' William continued after one soldier said it was 'a mixed bag.' 'Some of them might not want to see you that much,' the prince added. 'It's a mixed bag sometimes.' While it is unclear if William's comment was a veiled dig at his estranged brother, the remark came at an interesting time amid his ongoing feud with Harry and Meghan Markle. William took charge of Harry's former regiment when King Charles named his oldest son colonel-in-chief of the ACC in May 2024. The Duke of Sussex, 40, trained as an ACC pilot in 2009 and later served with the British Army's combat aviation arm in 2012 and 2013 during his second tour of Afghanistan. Plus, it is believed that Charles, 76, would have named Harry the Colonel-in-Chief of the ACC if he and his wife had not 'stepped back' from their royal duties in January 2020. Harry and William's feud goes beyond the older brother's new title. The royal rift peaked after Harry and Markle, 43, spoke out against Buckingham Palace during their infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. It then continued with the couple's 'Harry & Meghan' Netflix docuseries in December 2022, as well as with Harry's memoir 'Spare' in January 2023. 'The underlying issue is trust,' an insider told People on Tuesday regarding the royal family's feud. 'The King and William don't trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation.' Meanwhile, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, 43, have not been seen together with Harry and Markle since Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September 2022. Although the brothers were both at their father's coronation when he officially ascended to the throne in May 2023, they reportedly avoided one another. Then, in August 2024, William and Harry were said to have 'kept their distance' once again while attending a memorial service in Norfolk for their late uncle, Robert Fellowes. 'William and Harry were both there,' a witness told The Sun after the service, 'but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance.' As for King Charles and Prince Harry, it is said to be 'extremely unlikely' that the pair will reconcile anytime soon, even as the monarch suffers from an undisclosed form of cancer. 'Prince Harry is the king's flesh and blood, so of course he would like some sort of reconciliation with his youngest son,' Helena Chard, a British broadcaster, told Fox News Digital before Charles' trip to Canada last week. 'However, it's been over five years since Megxit, and still, Prince Harry is full of animosity,' she added. 'Prince Harry has blown all trust and any reconciliation with his father and the royal family for the moment.'

Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull Break Up Amid Reported Beckham Family Rift
Romeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull have broken up PEOPLE confirms they split within the last few weeks The split comes amid a reported rift between the Beckham familyRomeo Beckham and Kim Turnbull have broken up. PEOPLE confirms they split within the last few weeks. The couple confirmed their romance on Romeo's Instagram Stories in November 2024, sharing romantic shots, according to the Daily Mail. Later that same month, Romeo, 22, included her on his main Instagram grid, in a post documenting a family trip to New York City. News of their breakup comes amid a rift between the Beckham family, as a source previously told PEOPLE that "there are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola [Peltz] and the family." The pair were noticeably absent from David Beckham's 50th birthday bash in May. "While the pair have been noticeably absent from the Beckhams' recent functions, the relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They're just hurt and disappointed that he's now playing no part in family life," said the source. Another insider, however, told PEOPLE that Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, who tied the knot in 2022, decided to skip the event because of Turnbull, who was once linked to Brooklyn. "Brooklyn didn't want to be in the same room as her, and he told his dad that. But David opted to have Kim there over Nicola," said the insider. A third source added, "Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he's not comfortable around her." It is worth noting, however, that Brooklyn's younger brother, Cruz, told a commenter in an Instagram post that "Brooklyn and Kim never dated." A different source also told PEOPLE that the pair never dated. A fifth insider close to the Beckham family also tells PEOPLE, "There were several events where Kim Turnbull wasn't present," including one of the family parties, which Brooklyn and Nicola could have attended. PEOPLE also previously reported on the strained relationship between Brooklyn and his parents that allegedly stems from events at his wedding. Earlier this month, PEOPLE learned that Brooklyn and Nicola hired a lawyer previously used by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry amid ongoing tensions within the Beckham family. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The pair are working with British lawyer Jenny Afia, who works for the Schillings law firm, per The Mail on Sunday, which first reported the news. According to the outlet, the pair hired the lawyer to help them with their "reputation management." Read the original article on People

‘Outlander' Creators Talk Season 7 Highlights and Reveal Why They Had to Make a Big Change to Jamie & Claire's Reunion Love Scene
The penultimate season of 'Outlander' was 16 episodes long and split into two parts. The second half found Jamie (Sam Heughan) presumed dead, then back from the dead, Claire re-married, and then Claire (Caitríona Balfe) on the brink of death. The signature love, heartbreak, and reunions filled these last 8 episodes, leading to a shocking season finale revelation that deviated away from the book series. IndieWire sat down with the creative team behind 'Outlander' to discuss the highlights and challenges in bringing Diana Gabaldon's book series to life for the second half of Season 7. Executive Producers Maril Davis and Matthew B. Roberts, Production Designer Mike Gunn and Costume Designer Trisha Biggar shared their favorite moments from this season, explained why Balfe and Heughan's chemistry is the glue that holds their show together, and also teased what to expect in the eighth and final season. Watch the full panel discussion to find out why Jamie and Claire's big reunion love scene had to be changed from the book. More from IndieWire 'Abbott Elementary' Season 4 Took Pains Not to 'Phone It in': 'We Want Every Episode to Be a Surprise' If She Chooses You, You're in: Melanie Lynskey on the Magic of Natasha Lyonne Davis kicked it off by sharing that her favorite scene was the very last scene in the season finale episode, 'A Hundred Thousand Angels.' Claire hears Fanny singing, 'I Do Like to Sit Beside the Seaside,' and realizes that Faith, her daughter with Jamie who was stillborn in Season 2, might have lived. 'It's just so heartbreaking. It was such a beautiful scene. I just remember the look on Caitríona's face when, as Claire, the pieces are falling into place.' Roberts talks about two scenes that stand out to him, the first requiring Gunn to bring a large ship in when Jamie, Claire and Ian arrive in Scotland. 'It was no small feat to sail a ship up from the south of England, get it dressed. That scene worked out so great. It reminded me of when we were in South Africa, doing all the ship scenes (in Season 3).' When Claire comes down the stairs in a beautiful dress, it's a moment that Biggar and the costume department executed perfectly. Roberts said, 'It's kind of reminiscent of the red dress (from Season 2).' Claire, the new Mrs. Lord John Grey, must make her first public appearance in this very dress. Biggar said, 'It took weeks and weeks to make. Pure lace. I wanted to make it without there being any seams in it, so it was pretty complicated for (our team). There were many people working on different parts at the same time. We covered it eventually in little sparkles so that the candle light would be picking it up.' And how did Balfe handle having to dance in the dress? Biggar lights up: 'She's great with costume. She just sort of puts things on, wears them and behaves as if they're just regular clothes. She's marvelous. She just pops things on and off she goes.' For seven seasons and over 11 years of filming, the heart of 'Outlander' has always lay with its central love story between Jamie and Claire. Heughan and Balfe have long been hailed as the king and queen of chemistry. Davis confirms, 'They always surprise me. Their chemistry is so good. We've gotten so used to them being so good together, that we take it for granted. That chemistry, you can't buy.' Davis revealed that Jamie and Claire's reunion love scene was supposed to be bigger. 'There's a very iconic scene in the book where Jamie and Claire get in a big fight. Jamie is jealous of Claire having slept with Lord John. They have this big, break tables, throw things to the ground, lovemaking scene and an argument. We wanted to do it like the book. It's this potting shed. Mike tried very hard to do that for us. We found a great greenhouse. But then the lighting and the weather. We ended up putting it into the house on Chestnut Street. There were many debates about that too. 'Are they going to fight about Lord John, but yet they're going to make love in Lord John's house?' It all came together. That's a true testament to Sam and Caitríona, they make everything work.' Jamie and Claire reunite on a dining table. And luckily that table survived. When Jamie is first presumed dead, Gunn said, 'The audience knows that Jamie is not dead, but (they) need to believe that Claire thinks that Jamie's dead. Sam and Caitríona pull that out every single time because of their chemistry. She was stunning in that episode.' Gunn talks about the set for when Claire is shot. 'We wanted it to be quite dramatic, because it's the finale. It had to house the ending of their journey for that season. We wanted that exact contrast from the violence of the war that's outside and the horrid nature of the fact that Claire has been shot to the serenity that's inside.' Davis and Roberts explained that the book scene where Lord John and Claire sleep together was not easy. Davis says Balfe and David Berry struggled with the storyline. 'Why would Claire and Lord John sleep together?' Balfe first spoke about it at ATX Festival at the beginning of season 7. Roberts says, 'I don't even like to think of it as lovemaking, or them having sex. What they were doing is they were grieving.' The team also addressed the season 7 finale twist that shocked the audience. Claire tells Jamie, 'I think our daughter Faith lived.' Davis confesses that everyone in the cast first said, 'What? How is that possible?' Season 8 will explain it all they promise. Cue George Michael, 'You gotta have Faith.' Roberts revealed they didn't just film one ending for their series finale. 'We filmed multiple endings. It was important that it not get out what we were doing. We were very careful. I knew it would be very emotional. I would say, probably four that went out into the world.' Biggar, Davis, Gunn, and Roberts ended by teasing the final season in just a few words. Gunn went with alliteration and said, 'Epic epic end.' Biggar said, 'Surprise,' because she didn't work on season 8, she left to work on the prequel, 'Outlander: Blood of My Blood.' Davis brought it home with, 'Emotional, heartbreak, tears.' Gunn added, 'Maybe of joy!' Roberts summed it up with one word, 'Satisfying.' But which of the four endings is the real ending one has to wonder? A little heartbreak, a little satisfaction, and a lot of tears, sounds like a perfect ending to 'Outlander.' As long as it's not 'Four Endings and Jamie or Claire's Funeral,' the 'Outlander' audience will be happy. Watch the full panel discussion to hear the team break down all the Season 7 moments that made it one of the strongest seasons yet. 'Outlander' is streaming now on Starz.
