Grayson Waller Takes A Dig At Cathy Kelley's Mom On WWE RAW

After Grayson Waller set up his tag partner Austin Theory with a spontaneous match against 'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus last Monday, WWE correspondent Cathy Kelley wanted to address the elephant looming in Louisville's KFC Yum! Center this week on WWE Raw. Unfortunately for her, she and Waller had two different interpretations.

According to Kelley, the 'elephant' meant the tension seemingly growing between Waller and Theory. In Waller's eyes, though, it signified something much more personal to Kelley.
'The elephant in the room. You mean your mom?' Waller said to Kelley before apologizing to Theory. 'Hey, first of all, last week was my fault. I was trying to be a good mate, giving [Theory] a marquee match, but maybe the surprise was too big. I'm sorry.'
While initially taken aback by Waller's remark, Kelley managed to stay professional and finish her interview with A-Town Down Under, which resulted in Theory informing Waller he had secured him a match with Sheamus in return. Afterward, Kelley took to Twitter/X to note that Waller's anger toward extends back to November 2023, when she aimed another witty insult at Waller.

On previous episode of WWE SmackDown, Waller poured a bottle of water over the head of Kevin Owens, who sat next to the commentary table. Waller then made this image his profile photo on X, prompting Kelley to write 'The first time [Grayson's] gotten anybody wet' in response. According to Kelley, Waller seems to still be mad about this initial diss.

Lottery player spends $5 — and scores a $912,000 jackpot prize in North Carolina
A lottery player spent $5 on a ticket — and hit the jackpot in North Carolina. On June 4, the player bought a ticket that scored the top prize in The Lamp: Dark Arts, the N.C. Education Lottery wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. The Lamp: Dark Arts is a progressive jackpot game that offers lottery tickets starting at 50 cents. The online game features a prize wheel and digital icons that players can match to win big, rules show. It turns out, the lucky player won the top-tier 'Alakazam' jackpot, making their ticket worth $912,326, lottery officials told McClatchy News via email. A spokesperson previously told McClatchy News the lottery can't pinpoint where players are when they buy their tickets for digital instant games. But lottery officials know the jackpot winner is from the Duplin County town of Warsaw, a roughly 70-mile drive southeast from Raleigh. As of about 10:45 a.m. June 5, no one had claimed the Warsaw prize. In North Carolina, the winners of digital instant games have about six months to cash in, officials said.
