Yahooa day ago

There's no need to turn back time to the good old days; Columbus' hometown heroes, Twenty One Pilots, are releasing new music.
A week after celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the chart-topping album, "Blurryface," central Ohio's Grammy Award-winning duo announced on social media the September release of their next full-length album, "Breach."
Following a series of cryptic clues hidden on social media and throughout the "Clancy" tour, which wrapped up in May, the band announced the upcoming album and its first single, "The Contract," which is set for release on June 12.
The iconic duo of singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun just celebrated a 14-year "band-iversary" in May.
Now, Twenty One Pilots still brings the ride to heathens across the globe.
The band's 2024 album, "Clancy," sold over 143 million copies in its first week alone and has grown to over 1 billion global streams.
Through the release of "The Contract," fans can preorder the first pressing edition of the "Breach" vinyl and CD.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attend Game 4 of Stanley Cup Final between Panthers and Oilers

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — There was bad blood at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers. Not just on the ice. Pop superstar Taylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce were among the celebrities that flocked to Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday to watch Game 4 of the final — with the 'Bad Blood' singer seen holding hands with Kelce as they headed to their seats. Advertisement And they were in attendance for a thrilling game. Edmonton came from down three goals in the first period to win it 5-4 in overtime, tying the series 2-2. Kelce, a Super Bowl-winning tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is a known hockey fan along with his brother Jason Kelce. And ever since Swift and Kelce began their high-profile romance in 2023, the 14-time Grammy Award winning singer has been known to pop in on big sporting events — including the last two Super Bowls — and cause an excited frenzy for fans. There were rumblings ahead of Thursday's game that the couple might attend the final. A helicopter landed near Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, ahead of the game. The VIP entrance to the area was also closed off and the media elevator was not available to be used for a period of time before pregame warmups began. Advertisement The pair was shown on the television broadcast during the first period of the game. Swift recently announced that she regained control over her entire body of work. In a lengthy note posted to her official website, Swift said that all the music she's ever made now belongs to her after she has purchased her catalog of recordings — originally released through Big Machine Records — from their most recent owner, the private equity firm Shamrock Capital. Over the last few years, Swift has been rerecording and releasing her early albums in an attempt to regain control of her music. Other celebs in attendance included former Miami Dolphins star defensive end Jason Taylor, who banged the drum before the game, and hockey great Jaromir Jagr. Miami Heat captain Bam Adebayo was joined by former Heat captain Udonis Haslem on the drum on Monday. ___ AP NHL playoffs: and Alanis Thames, The Associated Press

Former Lion Nate Burleson pouring his new vodka in metro Detroit over Father's Day weekend

When Nate Burleson was released by the Detroit Lions in 2014, fans questioned what would become of LionBlood Clothing Co., the wide receiver's clothing line centered on the Detroit team's mascot. It's been more than a decade since Burleson's time with the Lions, yet he's maintained the LionBlood Clothing Co. and his sense of Detroit pride, and this weekend, he's expanding the brand with a new venture — LionBlood Vodka. A collaboration with Ferndale distillery Valentine Distilling Co., LionBlood Orange Vodka is a made-in-Michigan, small-batch blend of Valentine vodka infused with notes of blood orange and elderflower. The former NFL star and Emmy Award-winning media personality approached Rifino Valentine, founder and president of Valentine Distilling Co. to create 'a vodka like no other,' according to a news release. "A lion sleeps in the heart of all of us,' Burleson said in the release, again nodding to the Lions' mascot. 'We hunt for what we want in this world, so the time is now. Remember to savor every sip and conquer your jungle.' The collaboration launches just in time for Father's Day, and Burleson, a father of three, is encouraging all dads to join him in metro Detroit for the celebration. Following an 11-year NFL career, the last four seasons with Detroit, Burleson became an analyst for the NFL Network. He joined "The NFL Today" on CBS in 2017 and has been a co-host of "CBS Mornings" since 2021. On Friday, June 13, Burleson will be pouring drinks and mingling with guests for a meet-and-greet at Belle's Lounge in Ferndale from 6-9 p.m. On Saturday, June 14, he'll sign bottles of LionBlood Orange at Kroger in St. Clair Shores from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. The events offer an opportunity to enjoy a Michigan-made spirit with a Lions icon and a true champion of Detroit pride. Visit for more information. Friday, June 13, 6-9 p.m. - Belle's Lounge, 161 Vester St., Ferndale Saturday, June 14, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. - Kroger, 22801 Harper Ave., St. Clair Shores This article originally appeared on Detroit Free Press: Ex-Lion Nate Burleson pouring new vodka in metro Detroit this weekend
