Justin Bieber's Comments About Hailey's Vogue Cover Draw Criticism
After Hailey Bieber's Vogue cover broke the internet, Justin Bieber drew flak for his comments on her achievement amid ongoing divorce rumors. In a since-edited caption, the pop singer made controversial remarks about his wife gracing the fashion magazine's cover for its June 2025 issue, recalling a 'huge fight' with her. He remembered telling Hailey that 'she would never be on the cover of Vogue' and apologized for his 'mean' assertion. This seemingly didn't sit well with many, who criticized his way of congratulating the model on her milestone. Justin Bieber found himself in a predicament after making questionable comments about Hailey's Vogue cover in a since-edited Instagram caption. The 31-year-old singer shared a congratulatory post for his wife following her solo cover in the fashion magazine's latest issue. Pop Base shared the unedited caption on X (formerly Twitter). 'Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,' he wrote in the caption, recalling their disagreement and telling the model 'she would never be on the cover of Vogue.' Additionally, Justin acknowledged that it was 'so mean' and explained feeling 'disrespected' and wanting to 'get even' at the time. 'I think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even,' he wrote about his thoughts, adding that it's 'prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.' The Grammy winner then apologized to Hailey, asking her for forgiveness 'for saying u wouldn't get a vogue cover' and accepting how 'sadly mistaken' he was back then. Fans slammed Justin Bieber's previous Instagram caption about Hailey's Vogue cover and criticized him for editing the text. Moreover, Instagram users called him out for 'changing the caption,' calling it diabolical and condemning him in the comments section of his post. Some even urged him to 'just say congrats' or show some love to his wife. Justin has since changed his caption to a set of emojis that reflect his love and affection for Jack's mom. Hailey Bieber's Rhode Deal ‘Is a Blow' to Justin Bieber's Ego, ‘Source' Claims
has recently achieved a major milestone in her career, which has added fuel to the divorce rumors surrounding her and Justin Bieber. A few days ago, Hailey's company, Rhode, was acquired by e.l.f. Beauty for $1 billion. Since then, speculations about the couple's financial situation created a buzz among fans. In a recent report by The U.S. Sun, a source claimed that the pop icon was allegedly not happy with his wife's success. It appeared to be a 'blow to his ego.' Last week, Hailey Bieber announced a big achievement on her Instagram, expressing excitement about Rhode 'partnering with e.l.f. Beauty.' Meanwhile, her husband, Justin Bieber, with whom she shares son Jack Blues, made headlines for having financial troubles. Speaking about the situation, a source told The U.S. Sun, 'Justin is becoming incredibly selfish, and that deal has deeply upset him.' The individual further said, 'He cannot stand the idea of being the 'number two' in their relationship now.' The insider added that the singer has been 'obsessed with being the dominant figure in their relationship' and is allegedly 'jealous' of Hailey. On the other hand, a fashion consultant close to the Biebers claimed that the musician 'has been dreaming of similar deals for years but has not achieved them'. As a result, Justin 'resents' that Hailey is 'a better businessperson than he is, and her success makes him feel inadequate as a businessman.' Aside from the million-dollar deal, the beauty mogul also bagged her first solo Vogue cover. In her cover interview with the magazine, she dismissed the rumors of relationship trouble. 'There's a new headline every two days that makes no sense,' Hailey added. However, the gossip didn't seem to die down easily. The Daily Mail recently reported how Hailey's friends were concerned about her. An insider mentioned that her friends believed that the businesswoman would go out of her way to help Justin financially. 'Friends of Hailey are concerned that she has been so ride or die with Justin that she might get enveloped into bailing him out of financial struggles,' the source said. Amid the controversial statements, the singer slammed haters on Instagram. He wrote two posts, stating that one should choose 'LOVE' over 'LOYALTY.' Theresa Nist slams 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner's claim cancer contributed to split
Theresa Nist slams 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner's claim cancer contributed to split Show Caption Hide Caption Watch: ABC 'Golden Bachelor' divorce reveal, Al Roker's reaction On ABC, "Golden Bachelor" stars Gerry and Theresa announced their divorce, after marrying in January. On NBC, Al Roker reacted. Theresa Nist is hitting back at claims her "Golden Bachelor" marriage tarnished because of Gerry Turner's cancer diagnosis. Nist, who appeared in 2023's inaugural season of the "Bachelor" franchise highlighting elder contestants in their golden years, addressed her ex's claims that the couple split once Turner found out he had cancer. Turner, the first "Golden Bachelor," proposed to and married Nist in a live televised wedding on ABC in January 2024 – but their relationship was over by April 2024, and the couple at the time said a decision of where to settle down contributed to their divorce, which was finalized that June. Turner, 73, in December revealed his terminal cancer diagnosis of Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a bone marrow cancer and type of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and suggested their split was connected to his health bombshell. Nist, 71, at the time denied "a factor in the ending of the relationship, at least not for me," in an interview with People, and she's doubling down on her shock at Turner's claims. 'Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner says cancer diagnosis factored into Theresa Nist divorce "I was just so surprised that he even said that I knew about the cancer a long time ago," she said on the June 5 episode of the "Almost Famous Podcast" with Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti. "The way Gerry presented it to me was that, 'The doctor said that I'm going to die of old age before this cancer gets to me.' He bluffed it off, like it really wasn't that important, and he had no symptoms, and he still doesn't." 'Golden Bachelor' breakup bombshell: Look back at Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist's romance She added, "I would have never left my husband over an illness." While Turner previously told People magazine that his health announcement "probably will clear up a lot of mystery around what happened back in February, March and April" during the couple's choice to split, Nist denied that their relationship was affected in that way because of Turner's cancer. "We never had a conversation that said, 'Oh my gosh, you're sick. I can't stay with you now. I have to leave.' That never happened," she said on the podcast. Nist also suggested Turner wanted "empathy" from "Bachelor" fans. "Did he want empathy from the public?" she questioned. "I was angry that he would say something like that, but then I am such an understanding person, and I can put myself easily in someone else's shoes. So I tried to see it from his perspective, and I thought, 'OK, if that's in his mind, then I guess that's how he sees it.' Everyone has their own perception of what happened."
