MCC will close the NEET UG 2025 Round 1 choice filling tonight, August 11. Allotment results for round 1 is also expected soon at mcc.nic.in.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the Round 1 choice filling and locking window for NEET UG Counselling 2025 at 11:59 PM tonight, August 11, 2025. Candidates who have yet to submit or lock their preferences must do so before the deadline to be considered for seat allotment.
Earlier, MCC extended the NEET UG choice filling facility till August 11, 2025. The Round 1 seat allotment results are still scheduled to be announced today, though the committee has not confirmed if the timeline will change following this extension.
Once released, the allotment results will be available at mcc.nic.in. Candidates will need to log in with their credentials to download their allotment letter.
Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Round 1 seat allotment result link.
Step 3: Log in using your credentials.
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2025 will need to download their allotment letter and report to the assigned college within the stipulated dates to confirm admission. Those who do not get a seat or wish to participate in the next rounds can wait for the subsequent phases of counselling.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release detailed reporting guidelines along with the Round 1 results.
Meanwhile, postgraduate medical aspirants are awaiting the NEET PG 2025 answer key, cut-off marks, and results. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the exam on August 3 in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres. Over 2.42 lakh candidates appeared for the computer-based test. The official NEET PG cut-off will be declared alongside the results.
