Victoria and David Beckham take minds off son Brooklyn and wife Nicola 'feud' with New York date night

Yahoo27-05-2025
Victoria and David Beckham appeared to put their family tensions aside as they enjoyed a lavish date night in New York on Monday.
The couple dined at the renowned Eleven Madison Park, indulging in the restaurant's ten-course vegan tasting menu, priced at £270 per person.
The former footballer, 50, took to Instagram to share a series of snapshots showcasing the exquisite dishes, while 51-year-old Victoria posed with the kitchen and waiting staff.
In one photo, the pair is seen with head chef and owner Daniel Humm, with David writing: '@elevenmadisonpark Once again I'm blown away. Thank you Daniel to you and your amazing team x.'
Their outing comes following a report that Brooklyn's message of support to his wife Nicola Peltz was like a 'dagger to the heart' for David and Victoria.
The budding chef, 26, and his actress partner, 30, live in Los Angeles and are thought to have been feuding with his parents, who are based in the UK, for the past few months.
Amid the escalating rumours of tension, Brooklyn appeared to firmly declare which side he was on by sharing a tribute to Peltz on Instagram.
He posted a clip of them on a motorcycle ride on Sunday and wrote in the caption: 'My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.'
The Beckhams reportedly felt their son's post seemed 'very pointed', with a source telling The Sun: 'It shows how much this situation with his family has escalated.'
'It's very sad for everyone involved, especially David and Victoria who love him very much. This isn't the Brooklyn his family knows and loves.'
The insider added: 'This post was like a dagger to their hearts but they will always be there for Brooklyn.'
The Standard has previously contacted representatives for Victoria and David for comment.
Nicola, who is the daughter of Miami-based billionaires Nelson and Claudia Peltz, re-shared Brooklyn's video on her own Instagram page and commented, 'I've always got you baby,' alongside a burning love heart emoji.
The Beckhams have become embroiled in feud speculation in recent weeks, with fans noticing that Brooklyn, and Nicola have snubbed major milestones on social media and avoided going to family events.
They failed to attend Victoria's 51st birthday last month and skipped David's lavish 50th birthday party earlier this month, which was attended by Brooklyn's siblings Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.
Tensions reportedly flared after Brooklyn and Romeo stopped speaking following Romeo's relationship with Kim Turnbull - who previously dated Brooklyn's friend Rocco Ritchie.
Brooklyn is said to be suspicious of Kim's reasons for dating Romeo, with TMZ claiming Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz now refuse to attend any family event where Kim is present.
David is thought to be worried the feud with Brooklyn could mirror his own estrangement from his father Ted in 2005.
The pair were not on speaking terms until Ted, 77, suffered a near-death experience in 2007 and they reconciled.

Jay Cutler denies Kristin Cavallari didn't receive money in divorce: 'Borderline slander'

Money talks, and so does Jay Cutler. The former NFL player and ex-husband of TV personality Kristin Cavallari opened up about the couple's divorce settlement after Cavallari got candid on her post-split finances on her reality show, "Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour." Cutler and Cavallari were married from 2013-2020 and share three children. During the June 18 episode of "Honestly Cavallari," the "Laguna Beach" alum, 38, reportedly debunked speculation that Cutler funded her beauty and apparel brand Uncommon James. "People love to say that everything I have in my life is because of my ex-husband," she said, per People magazine and NBC News affiliate KRNV. "I have never gotten a penny from my ex-husband," Cavallari added. "I didn't get any money from our divorce, so let's just clear that up." Cutler, 42, pushed back against his ex-wife's comments on the Aug. 15 episode of his podcast, "Take it Outside with Jay Cutler and Sam Mackey", joking: "Yeah, she didn't get a penny. She got a lot, a lot, a lot of (dollar) bills." "It's irresponsible. I think it's reckless," Cutler continued. "It's borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage that each side got." USA TODAY has reached out to Cavallari's representative for comment. In April 2020, Cavallari announced her split from Cutler in an Instagram post, writing, "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce." According to People magazine and the former couple later reached a child custody agreement, which allowed Cavallari to use "marital funds" to purchase a home for herself. Kristin Cavallari interview: 'Laguna Beach' alum is open to talking about anything, except her ex-husband. How much money did Kristin Cavallari receive from Jay Cutler divorce? While Cutler didn't go into details about how much money was allotted to Cavallari in their divorce settlement, the Chicago Bears alum said, "I can guarantee you it's definitely not zero dollars." "You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It's online," said Cutler, who reportedly earned $122.2 million across 12 seasons. "If we would have went to the judge and been like, 'Hey, he's going to keep every single dollar over the past seven years, and you're going to get nothing,' ... they would have been like, 'No, this isn't right. This isn't legal. Not happening.' " Kristin Cavallari talks Jay Cutler: TV personality says she was 'skin and bones' during 'unhappy' marriage When asked by cohost Sam Mackey if the settlement money is enough to live "comfortably" on, Cutler replied, "without a doubt." "It's insanity. It's completely false, completely untrue. It just is. I've got a divorce decree," Cutler said. "(I) hate that I even have to address it, honestly, but it gets to a point where it's just untrue." Contributing: Jay Stahl, USA TODAY

Singer Tamar Braxton says she 'almost died' in weekend accident

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Singer, actor and reality TV star Tamar Braxton said Tuesday that she 'almost died' in a weekend accident that she doesn't remember. 'I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury,' Braxton wrote in an Instagram post. 'I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility.' She added, 'I don't even know what happened to me.' Braxton, 48, earlier in the day had posted 'Thank you God for waking me up today,' in an Instagram story. She said she was getting calls after and was struggling to talk so she shared what had happened to her. The post also said 'the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real.' An email to Braxton's manager seeking more details was not immediately answered. Braxton was part of a singing group with her sisters, including Toni Braxton, who went on to a major solo career. They and other family members appeared on the reality series 'Braxton Family Values' starting in 2011, and Tamar Braxton has since appeared in spin-offs and other reality shows. As an actor, her recent credits include the TV series 'Kingdom Business.' And she has spent much of the year on a solo singing tour.

‘National Geographic' Documentarians List Their 11-Acre Santa Cruz Ranch for $4.3 Million

Frans Lanting and Chris Eckstrom, a husband-and-wife creative team who have produced stories for National Geographic, travel to some of the most stunning locations on the planet. But it's their Santa Cruz estate, which they've owned for three decades, that may be their favorite spot of all. 'We have documented many of the most beautiful places on our planet for National Geographic,' Lanting said in a statement. 'But every time we come back from abroad, we marvel at the place we call home.' Over the years, Lanting and Eckstrom have transformed the 11-acre spread into a home for not just themselves but also more than 150 species of plants and animals, such as coyotes, deer, and rare birds. RELATED: This Coastal California Home Was Designed for a Family of Surfers The centerpiece of the nature-focused retreat, just five minutes from Highway 1 and 90 minutes from San Francisco, is the two-bedroom, two-bath main residence. The contemporary Craftsman was inspired by the work of Greene & Greene, the influential early 20th-century Pasadena-based architecture firm well known for their Arts & Crafts style. Natural accents adorn the home, including century-old redwood beams across the ceiling, stained pine flooring, and Douglas fir and maple touches. A gas fireplace anchors the living room, adjacent to the chef's kitchen with granite countertops. The primary suite, meanwhile, includes a bathroom where the soaking tub looks out on the Pacific Ocean. A courtyard connects the main house to a two-bedroom guest house with its own kitchenette, laundry, and library shelving. A smaller and more contemporary caretaker's studio is a stone's throw away, with a full kitchen and bath, plus a fun sleeping loft accessible by ladder. Among the structures, there's a hot tub that looks out on the meadows, a wildlife pond that attracts frogs and birds, and more than 2,000 square feet of decks, pathways, and paved terraces for taking in all of the outdoors. For those looking to build on Lanting and Eckstrom's work on the property, there's a garage/workshop and a detached greenhouse for seasonal cultivation and propagation. Currently, the on-site habitats include seasonal wetlands, redwood forest, oak woodland, and coastal prairie, with much land still available for whatever you may want to do with of Robb Report The 10 Priciest Neighborhoods in America (And How They Got to Be That Way) In Pictures: Most Expensive Properties Click here to read the full article.
