Ranveer Allahbadia salutes Indian Military after backlash over now deleted 'Pakistani brothers and sisters' post
After sharing a post for 'Pakistani brothers and sisters', Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps posted a new video in praise of the Indian Armed Forces. Saluting the Indian Military, he extended support to India.
In the video, Ranveer said, 'Jai Hind, Jai Bharat dosto. Indian Military ko sabse pehle 100% support, love and respect. Pichle 5 saalo me humne 50 se zayada military themed podcasts banaye.'
He mentioned that while the Indian Military and government have hard power, it's the common citizen and media who hold the soft power amid the conflict.
Ranveer went on to talk about how Pakistan was behind the Pahalgam attack. 'Yeh hai sanch aur iss sanch ko puri duniya me failana har Bharatiya nagarik ki zimedari hai (This is the truth, and it is the responsibility of every Indian citizen to spread this truth across the world).'
The caption of his post read: 'SALUTE INDIAN MILITARY'.
"PAKISTAN MILITARY & ISI, you are bringing your own country's economy down since decades. But also…You have been the cause of terrorism on our land for decades. Proof that you were involved in the Pahalgam attack : Proof 1: All terrorist that have been caught over the years are originally from Pakistan. Proof 2: Your military leaders attended the state funeral held by Hafiz Abdur Rauf, brother of the Jaish-E-Mohammed chief. Proof 3: Your defense minister Khawaja Asif recently admitted to the state sponsored terrorism on Sky News. Full support to Indian Armed Forces always. But India needs its citizens to showcase NUANCED, INFORMED opinions. Especially with Pakistani janta. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat."
Responding to his post, many on the internet began trolling him. A user wrote in the comments, referring to his deleted post, 'Delete kyu kar di bhai? Tu toh 'Inshaallah' kar raha tha (why did you delete your post?).'
'Enough is enough unfollowing u...this was ur 2nd mistake,' added another. 'Comeback se pehle setback mil jayega...Jai Hind (You'll face a setback before making a comeback),' commented someone else.
He also shared another detailed post talking about '7 truths that EVERY INDIAN must know about our armed forces.' 'It is an extremely strategic & analytical choice made by the higher ups. Our military has been waiting for this chapter. Pray for them and wish well,' it concluded.
Earlier, Ranveer irked many on the internet when he said, 'Dear Pakistani Brothers & Sisters, I will get hate from many Indians for this, but it is important to be said. Just like many Indians, I don't have hate in my heart for you. Many of us want peace as well. Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you invariably welcome us with love. But...'

All-party parliamentary delegation led by Shashi Tharoor wraps up U.S. visit
A multi-party parliamentary delegation wrapped up its visit to the U.S. after meeting with Vice President J.D. Vance and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau among political and diplomatic leaders, to drive home India's strong resolve to combat terrorism emanating from Pakistan. The delegation, led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, was on the last leg of a multi-nation tour to brief key interlocutors about Operation Sindoor that India launched in retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. The delegation was one of the seven multi-party delegations India had tasked to visit 33 global capitals to reach out to the international community to emphasise Pakistan's links to terrorism. The group arrived in the U.S. capital on June 3 and over the course of three days held a wide array of meetings on Capitol Hill as well as in Washington, briefing American government officials as well as lawmakers about India's stance on cross-border terrorism. The Indian team met Vice President Vance, Mr. Landau, House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) leadership, India Caucus leadership and Senate Foreign Relations Committee leaders. It also held meetings and interactions with a host of U.S. Congressmen, think tanks, policy experts, media as well as members of the Indian-American community. Mr. Tharoor described the meeting with Mr. Vance at the White House for about 25 minutes on Thursday (June 5, 2025) as 'an excellent meeting,' and said the Vice President was 'warm and welcoming and receptive.' 'Mr. Vance expressed complete understanding, first of all, outrage of what happened in Pahalgam and support and respect for India's restrained response in Operation Sindoor,' Mr. Tharoor told PTI after that meeting. India's wind sector must innovate and secure, not just scale
Amid heightened Indo-Pak tensions, a Pakistani outlet claimed cyberattacks had knocked out 70 per cent of India's electricity. The false report exposed a very real anxiety: What happens when energy infrastructure becomes a frontline in cyber warfare? For years, the renewable energy sector has diligently optimised turbine efficiency, improved grid integration and focused on speedy deployment. These remain essential. However, an equally pressing threat looms quietly in the background: Cybersecurity and the pace of maximum value addition and localisation in manufacturing. Unlike finance or defence sectors, where digital safeguards have long been entrenched, robust cybersecurity measures are only now being introduced into India's renewable energy framework. And it's about time. A compromised SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system or remote-access breach could disable a wind farm — or multiple sites — in mere seconds. As India pushes towards achieving 500 GW of non-fossil-based electric installed capacity by 2030, including an ambitious target of over 100 GW from wind, the true challenge goes beyond just scaling up. It lies in securing what we install and how it is manufactured. The proposed amendment requires all operational wind turbine data to be stored within Indian territory. Foreign entities will no longer be allowed to remotely access or control Indian wind farms, a clear attempt to eliminate vulnerabilities to external cyber threats. More importantly, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) will be required to establish R&D facilities in India, signalling a decisive shift from passive assembly to active domestic innovation. This aligns with NITI Aayog's 2024 roadmap, emphasising localisation of both hardware and control systems. Given the various global incidents where cyberattacks have crippled energy grids, India's push for digital self-reliance isn't just necessary — it's urgent. Mandating local R&D isn't just about job creation or investment; it's about creating wind turbine technology designed for India's grid, climate, and challenges. India — not China or Europe — must become the epicentre for wind turbine innovation and manufacturing. However, strong policy intent must translate into effective execution, and here the amendment stumbles. Firstly, there is a greater need to build capacity for enforcement. Without a concrete monitoring mechanism, these rules risk becoming paper mandates. Secondly, the amendment needs to articulate India-specific design adaptation clearly. Renewable energy projects here face extreme operating conditions — temperatures exceeding 45°C, saline coastal air, monsoon deluges, and erratic grid voltages. Yet, there is no mandate for in-country prototype testing or climate-resilience validation before inclusion in the RLMMs (Revised List of Models & Manufacturers). This oversight risks importing turbines built for European conditions that buckle under India's punishing climate. Third, the policy skirts the need for embedded systems security. Today, power converters used in wind turbines and solar inverters in solar projects are effectively software-defined assets. They depend on SCADA systems, PLCs, and firmware that may be compromised — often subtly and invisibly. Without mandatory audits of software stacks and hardware backdoors, especially from OEMs in adversarial jurisdictions, India's wind and solar assets remain vulnerable. To operate in India, vendors/OEMs must obtain certification and clearance from Indian authorities and adhere to Government of India (GOI) regulations. These regulations should include provisions for force majeure situations, where vendor/OEM-supplied equipment may fail to receive support and patches, potentially leading to significant security breaches and national security risks. This ensures that even in times of geopolitical uncertainty, India's energy infrastructure remains operable, supported, and secure. Additionally, existing regulatory frameworks — like the Central Electricity Authority's temperature thresholds or the National Institute of Wind Energy's certification protocols — are treated as optional references, not core requirements. This disconnect must be addressed if we want turbines that are not just 'Made in India' but truly Engineered for India.
