Who Won the 5 Country Music Awards at the AMAs?
The American Music Awards aired tonight, and, while many viewers tuned in to see if Taylor Swift made an appearance (spoiler: she did not), country music fans will want to know who won the awards for the genre. The broadcast, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, featured performances by Lainey Wilson and Blake Shelton and included five fan-voted awards recognizing the stars of country music.

Also on display was metal carnage on the side from the collision with the merchant ship. Issues like the collision and the lost jets left questions of where some issues may lie. Commanding Officer Capt. Christopher Hill said he couldn't be prouder of the group of sailors. Particularly, his praised their ability to change what people may perceive to be the shortcoming of Generation X in the military. He said he saw no cowering or fallback, but instead, he said the sailors just kept fighting and fighting. Some may say U.S. Navy ships haven't seen this kind of engagement since the Persian Gulf War of 1990. Truman was in a 50-day streak of continuous strikes, launching Tomahawk missiles and precision airstrikes aimed at degrading the Iranian backed Houthi rebels' capabilities to disrupt commercial shipping in the Red Sea. Truman also accomplished the largest airstrike in history launched from an aircraft carrier when 125,000 pounds of ordinance was launched against Islamic State terrorists in northeast Somalia. Ford Announces Troubling Recall of Popular Truck
Nearly a month ago, on May 9, 2025, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration revealed a recall from Ford of more than one million vehicles ranging over 44 different makes and models. "Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2023-2024 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles," the NHTSA announced. The more than one million vehicles may contain a software error that can cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse. Just three weeks later, the NHTSA revealed another significant recall from the car manufacturer regarding its popular F-150 Lightning, which just surpassed Tesla's Cybertruck as the best-selling electric truck on the market, according to Electrek. "Certain vehicles may have an improperly torqued nut on the ball joint which secures the front upper control arm to the knuckle assembly. An improperly torqued nut on the ball joint can result in separation of the front upper control arm from the knuckle assembly," Ford said in a statement regarding its latest recall on nearly 30,000 trucks. As far as a remedy for the manufacturing error, Ford announced owners will be notified by mail and instructed to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to inspect the torque of the left and right upper control arm ball joint nut. "If the torque inspection passes, dealers will replace the nut. If the torque inspection fails, dealers will replace the knuckle and nut. There will be no charge for this service," Ford announced. "Ford provided the general reimbursement plan for the cost of remedies paid for by vehicle owners prior to notification of a safety recall in May 2023."
