The new Honda City Sport Edition is a limited-run model and is priced at Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory) and sits above the mid-spec V CVT variant of the regular Honda City.
During the launch phase, the City Sport carries a premium of Rs 49,000 over the standard V CVT variant. The Skoda Slavia Sportline is based on a mid-spec Signature variant. The price for the Skoda Slavia Sportline begins from Rs 13.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and is a permanent addition to the lineup.

Next comparing the powertrain options, the Honda City Sportline is available in a single powertrain option - a 1.5-litre, 4-cyl, NA petrol engine that puts out 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and comes paired only with a CVT automatic gearbox.
The Skoda Slavia Sportline on the other hand gets multiple powertrain options, a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 115 hp power and 178 nm torque and comes paired to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. It also features a 'Sport' badge which sets it apart from other variants in the lineup. Honda is offering this limited-run version in three exterior shades - Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
The Slavia Sportline features a two-tone exterior with a blue body and contrasting black roof, accompanied by a single-pane sunroof. At the front, it gets a broad hexagonal grille finished in gloss black, complemented by blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels.
Additional darkened elements include the door trim with a subtle chrome effect, window surrounds, rear bumper, and diffuser. Black finishes also extend to the nameplates, rear LED lights, spoiler, and side mirrors, enhancing its sporty visual appeal. Deputy leader of Opposition in the assembly Arvind Bellad (BJP) has written to Union Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy urging him to allocate electric buses under the PM's e-Drive scheme to North Karnataka cities like Hubballi-Dharwad , Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Ballari and Vijayapura. While Bengaluru has rightly received 4,500 e-buses, other regions also deserve attention. These cities have growing transport needs, existing KSRTC infrastructure, and in some cases BRT systems—making them ready for an efficient e-bus rollout, Bellad, who represents Hubballi-Dharwad West in the assembly, has said in his letter. Such a move will reduce regional disparities, curb emissions, create local jobs, and boost the EV ecosystem in underserved areas. A more balanced approach to green mobility will ensure true inclusive development across Karnataka, the BJP leader has said. Kumaraswamy had, in May, announced that Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Surat cities will get 10,900 brand new electric buses under the PM's e-Drive Scheme over the next two years. The PM e-Drive initiative aims to deploy 14,028 electric buses with a total financial outlay of Rs 10,900 crore over a two-year period from April 2024 to March 2026. The scheme represents one of the world's largest national efforts to electrify public transport at scale.

2025 Bajaj Dominar 250, Dominar 400 Launched In India: Check Prices
Bajaj Auto recently teased an updated version of the Dominar 400 and the Dominar 250. Now, the brand has already launched both the bikes. The smaller of the two comes at a starting price of Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom), while the bigger 400 comes with a 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). As part of the updates, the brand revised the feature list, added more touring equipment, and made ergonomic revisions to both the motorcycles. Many of these changes are shared between the bikes. Starting with the list of changes, both Dominars now come with four riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, and Off-Road. These modes are meant to aid the rider by altering throttle response and ABS intervention levels depending on the need. Furthermore, the Dominar 400 now gets a ride-by-wire. Meanwhile, the Dominar 250 gets a mechanical throttle setup and gets four ABS modes. The other significant change is that the Dominar siblings now get the same digital display as the Pulsar NS400Z. This is a colour LCD bonded glass speedometer which works with a new switchgear. Bajaj claims that they have also modified the handlebars for greater comfort during long journeys. Lastly, Bajaj has included a GPS mount for riders to attach their GPS devices or smartphones. In terms of mechanics, the bikes remain the same. The Dominar 400 will continue to derive its power from a 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, generating 39 hp at 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox. Likewise, the Dominar 250 will obtain its power from a 248 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 26 hp at 8,500 rpm and 23 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine is also paired with a six-speed transmission.

Second-hand car prices in Delhi drop heavily
New Delhi: Prices of second-hand cars in the national capital have witnessed a sharp fall in recent days, with traders reporting a decline of 40 to 50 per cent, the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) said on Friday. CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal has said the market for overage vehicles in Delhi has been severely affected, with nearly 60 lakh vehicles impacted by the sudden downturn. He attributed the price crash to restrictions related to End-of-Life (EOL) vehicles, which have crossed the permissible age limit for operation in Delhi. Goyal, also an automobile businessman, claimed that traders were being forced to sell cars at significantly lower prices. "In the last five days, the prices of second-hand cars have dropped by 40 to 50 per cent. Businessmen in Delhi are now compelled to sell vehicles at one-fourth of their original price," he said. He said that second-hand cars from Delhi were usually sold in Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. However, the demand from outside states was now accompanied by aggressive bargaining. "Luxury used cars that earlier fetched Rs six to seven lakh were now being sold for barely Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. 'Buyers from other states are aware of the challenges faced by Delhi-based traders and are negotiating accordingly," Goyal said. He further added that over 1,000 traders in areas like Karol Bagh, Preet Vihar, Pitampura, and Moti Nagar were involved in the business of selling second-hand vehicles. Car dealers have also raised concerns over difficulties in obtaining the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Transport Department, which is required to sell used vehicles in other states. Earlier, the process was relatively smooth, but now traders say they were facing delays and complications. The Delhi government had banned fuel for end-of-life vehicles -- 10 years or older for diesel vehicles and 15 years or older for petrol vehicles -- that are deregistered and not allowed to ply on the roads from July 1, following a court order. However, on Thursday, the government requested the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to put the ban on hold with immediate effect, arguing that the fuel ban on overage vehicles was not feasible due to technological challenges.
