Holly Valance split: Former Neighbours star vows to take billionaire ex Nick Candy for ‘every penny'
The 42-year-old signed a pre-nuptial agreement with her property developer beau before walking down the aisle 13 years-ago, but experts — and Valance — believe she could be entitled to a substantial slice of his nearly $3 billion fortune.
'Holly is incredibly upset. Her main concern is, and always will be, for their two daughters,' a source close to Valance told The Sun.
'But when it comes to the divorce, she's made it clear she wants what she's owed and will take Nick for every penny. She insists that she is the injured party in this.'
'It's been a very painful time for Holly and she has told friends that the split was not on her terms,' the source said.
'Given the circumstances, it feels as if there could be some room to manoeuvre.
'Whatever the sum ends up being, it will be in the tens of millions of pounds.'
In return, one of Candy's friends told The Sun, 'Nick is a very decent guy and he will always do right by Holly and their children.'
Valance rose to fame for her breakout role as Felicity 'Flick' Scully on TV soap Neighbours, joining the cast at 16 in 1999.
She later launched a successful music career. Her 2002 debut single Kiss Kiss reached the top of the charts in several countries.
She met property tycoon Candy in London in 2009 through mutual friends and he proposed two years later.
The pair share two daughters and have an extensive real estate portfolio that includes a $AUD340 million Knightsbridge duplex, a $142m Chelsea mansion, a $100 million mansion in Los Angeles' exclusive Holmby Hills and an $18m Oxfordshire estate.
In 2015, Candy, 52, famously gifted Valance a $54 million Benetti superyacht despite her chronic seasickness. They sold the yacht in 2023.
In March last year, Valance made headlines with a viral interview in which she spoke candidly about her political views and high-profile connections, further cementing her role as a prominent figure in Britain's conservative circles.
It's understood the couple split following a challenging period balancing family life, public commitments, and Candy's demanding work schedule in property development and as Reform UK party treasurer.

Danny Boyle to direct Ink
Danny Boyle is set to direct Ink. The 68-year-old filmmaker is reportedly taking the helm in the upcoming biopic, which will chronicle the rise of media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his empire. Sources told Deadline that Oscar-nominated actor Guy Pearce is in talks to play the NewsCorp founder, while former Skins star Jack O'Connell is in line to play Larry Lamb, who was hired to run The Sun newspaper when Murdoch purchased it in 1969. The movie is based on a play by James Graham, who has also adapted the screenplay for the big screen, and will shoot in October. Ink follows Murdoch's attempts to make The Sun a must-read and a rival to The Mirror, leading to the rise in British tabloid journalism. Danny will reteam with his Slumdog Millionaire producer Tessa Ross on the project, with Michael Ellenberg and Tracey Seaward also on board to produce, while Tonia Davis will serve as executive producer. Danny enjoyed his big career breakthrough with Trainspotting in 1996. The director helmed the gritty drugs drama - which starred the likes of Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle - but never imagined that the movie would become such a huge success. He recently told The Hollywood Reporter: "I remember there was a wave of disapproval of it building. They had shown a trailer or something on one of the TV movie shows here. And one of the prestigious critics said, 'Well, that looks shockingly irresponsible about drugs.' Things like that were building. "And then there was this journalist, Muriel Gray, and she wrote this piece about Irvine's [Welsh] book, and about the film. She spoke with authority saying, 'You do not know what you are talking about,' all these people piling disapproval on top of it. It was a tipping point." Danny relished the experience of working with Ewan on Trainspotting, remembering that the actor was "fanatical" about his role. The director said: "His agents were putting him in period romances, for which it was perfect. And he shaved it off before we'd offered him the part of Renton in Trainspotting. He shaved it off and lost weight. And then he continued to lose weight. He was fanatical about that. And he was right."

Chesney Hawkes has cardboard cut-out of himself
Chesney Hawkes owns a cardboard cut-out of himself. TV presenter Hayley Palmer, 44, went to The One and Only hitmaker's home in Surrey, England in June 2024 to interview him for her Saturday Night with Hayley Palmer YouTube show, and she was surprised to discover a unique item taking pride of place in his recording studio. The TV star exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I went to Chesney's house, and he's got a cardboard cut-out of himself. "When I went to Chesney's house - he's amazing, such a lovely person - and we had a tour of his studio, and there's a Chesney cut-out. "I was just like, 'Let's get a photo, and let's make everyone guess which one is which.' I loved it." Hayley joked she tried to "steal" Chesney's cardboard cut-out because she is one of his biggest fans. She quipped: "I'm not sure where it's from, but I was like trying to steal the cut-out and take it home because I love Chesney. "The One and Only is one of my karaoke songs!" Asked what it was like to have Chesney on her show, Hayley said: "Chesney is one of the most down-to-earth people I've ever met. He's so lovely." Since starting Saturday Night with Hayley Palmer in her dining room during the COVID-19 lockdown, the host has interviewed many celebrities, including singer Michael Bolton, 72, and Neighbours actor Alan Fletcher, 68. Meanwhile, interviewing singer Suzi Quatro, 75, in May was a moment she will never forget. She revealed: "Suzi gave me some lovely words of advice. "She said I needed to believe in myself, and then she sent me a lovely message afterwards and was like, 'Hayley, make sure you report back to me, I'm rooting for you, I believe in you, you can do it.' "And that's so nice because she didn't have to do that, and sometimes [celebrities] can spot something in you because they've had experience in the industry." Saturday Night with Hayley Palmer airs at 9pm on Freeview Channelbox 271 in the UK, and is later available globally on YouTube.

'A huge show of support': Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson join King Charles III at Balmoral despite explosive new revelations in bombshell York tell-all
Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah 'Fergie' Ferguson have been thrown a royal lifeline, joining King Charles III at Balmoral Castle despite the pair being hit with fresh scandals in a damning new biography. The Yorks, both 65, are understood to have been invited by the King, 76, to spend part of the summer holiday with him in the Scottish Highlands. The disgraced Duke and his former wife are believed to be staying at the seven-bedroom Craigowan Lodge, half a mile from Balmoral's main house and one of the late Queen's favourite retreats. The invite is being seen as a major gesture of good faith from Charles, and likely a surprise to many, given the relentless controversies surrounding Andrew and his estranged wife. The Balmoral gathering will soon be swelled by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children, along with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Princess Anne. Andrew and Fergie's daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35, are also expected to arrive with their young families. For the royals, Balmoral has long been their most private sanctuary, purchased by Queen Victoria in 1852 and treasured by Queen Elizabeth II until her death at the estate on September 8, 2022. But this year's invite comes just days after royal biographer Andrew Lownie released 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York' on August 14. The bombshell book lays bare decades of scandal, from Andrew's sex life and murky business dealings as a trade envoy to Fergie's spiralling debts and portrayal as a liability so risky the monarchy keeps her close to protect itself. Andrew and Fergie married in 1986, split in 1992, and divorced in 1996 - yet nearly thirty years on, the pair still live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor. The Yorks' inclusion at Balmoral is particularly striking given their exclusion from last year's Christmas gathering at Sandringham amid reports of Andrew's ties to an alleged Chinese spy. "The Balmoral invitation is a huge show of support," an insider told The Sun on Tuesday. King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to remain at Balmoral for three weeks, though it's not known how long Andrew and Fergie will stay. After the holiday, the pair are set to return to their home on the Windsor Estate - a crumbling 31-bedroom mansion the King has long wanted them to vacate. The reclusive Andrew, who now rarely leaves Royal Lodge, made headlines again last week after an altercation with a road worker installing speed bumps on the property. It is understood that the Prince was riding horseback during the incident. "The worker was just going about his job when Andrew, on one of his regular rides round the estate, came along and looked down from up high and said, 'What the f*** are you doing now?'" a source told The Sun. "Andrew likes to drive his car out of Royal Lodge quite fast and is obviously a bit peeved as one of the speed humps is right by the gate out of the park."
