Tyreek Hill's messy divorce gets uglier as estranged wife blasts NFL star for trying to ‘silence and intimidate' her

New York Post02-07-2025
Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro are continuing to trade jabs through their divorce proceedings.
Vaccaro has accused the Dolphins wideout of trying to silence and intimidate her, according to a filing by her lawyers that was obtained Tuesday by the Daily Mail, which was in response to Hill's motion requesting a gag order on their legal battle, originally filed by his attorneys on June 23.
'In terms of purpose, the Husband's motion is a clear attempt to silence and intimidate wife's counsel and control the representation that she receives in this litigation,' Vaccaro's legal team stated, accusing Hill of displaying a 'pattern of coercive control' in the matter.

'The Goose-Gander Rule is instructive, and its application reveals the hypocrisy of husband's position,' Vaccaro's lawyers said.
'He wants to silence the wife's lawyers while his own pleadings disparage and denigrate the wife.'

The remarks from Vaccaro's lawyers were in reference to Hill's June 23 filing, in which his attorneys, Michael Gottlieb and Christi Bright, asked Miami Judge Spencer Multack to prohibit Vaccaro from making 'denigrating, disparaging and uncivil statements' that may harm his reputation in future filings.

In her response, Vaccaro's attorneys, Evan Marks and Carolyn West, said the eight-time Pro Bowler wants a special grant for a gag order 'because he is famous' and doesn't want to 'look bad.'
Vaccaro also alleged Hill, with whom she shares an 8-month-old daughter, Capri, hasn't paid temporary spousal or child support, among other things.

'In the context of Husband not providing exclusive use of the martial residence, not providing use of a vehicle, not providing temporary spousal or child support or attorney's fees pendente lite, not agreeing to any timesharing schedule if it is not 50/50 and other behaviors and demands of Husband, the motion is another example of the Husband's pattern of coercive control, and it must be denied, because there is no legal basis for it,' her filing read.
Since filing for divorce from Hill earlier this year, the split between Vaccaro and the Dolphins wideout has only gotten messier.
Hill — currently entering his fourth season with the Dolphins amid offseason trade rumors — accused Vaccaro of stealing cash and 'fraudulently obtaining access' to his financial accounts to make unauthorized transfers to herself, her business and her 62-year-old mom, according to the Daily Mail.

'Three days before he filed his motion to enjoin, he filed a pleading in which he alleged, through counsel, that the wife 'has a history of stealing; and related statements, leading to the publication of one article with the headline: 'NFL Star Tyreek Hill Accuses Ex Keeta of Stealing From Him,'' Vaccaro's attorneys wrote.
'Instead of asking this court to enjoin the husband's lawyers from making such statements, the wife is marshalling the evidence that she will present to prove they are false.'

Vaccaro filed for divorce in April, calling her marriage to Hill 'irretrievably broken.' The filing took place a day after police responded to a domestic dispute at their Miami residence, during which Capri was present.
Vaccaro's mother, Alesia Vaccaro, said she called 911 because she feared for her daughter's safety after seeing a 'very aggressive and impulsive' Hill throw a laptop on the floor and walk toward the 35th-floor balcony with her granddaughter, according to an incident report.
Police said Capri appeared to be in good health, but did notice a bruise on Vaccaro's upper chest.
No arrests were made in the incident.

In a separate emergency court filing, Vaccaro alleged that Hill disappeared in the aftermath of their dispute for two nights only to return and take the couple's infant daughter without the mother's consent.
The motion requested temporary exclusive use of the couple's home for Vaccaro, along with limiting Hill's access to Capri to 'supervised timesharing.'

Hill and Vaccaro tied the knot during Miami's bye week in November 2023, after the pair had been engaged since July 2021.
Hill has three children with ex-fiancée Crystal Espinal — son Zev and twins Nakeem and Nyla — in addition to multiple alleged children from other relationships.

Anna Sorokin claims she's received hundreds of death threats over bunnies abandoned in New York park

Con artist Anna Sorokin claims she's received hundreds of death threats after she was accused of abandoning bunnies she posed with during a photoshoot in New York. The 34-year-old so-called fake heiress, who was convicted of grand larceny in 2019 for defrauding banks, hotels, and her friends out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, posted photos to her Instagram account last week capturing her posing in the Big Apple with two bunnies on red leashes. Someone later reported seeing the same rabbits roaming in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Since posting the photos on her account, which boasts 1.1 million followers, Sorokin said she's been bombarded with death threats. She claims to have had nothing to do with the logistics of the photoshoot. 'I am deeply alarmed by the death threats and hundreds of vile, harassing messages flooding my social media,' she wrote in a statement on Instagram Tuesday. The Independent has asked the NYPD if Sorokin has informed police about the alleged death threats. Sorokin posted a series of photos and videos last week from the photoshoot. Dressed in a blue mini dress and matching heels — an ensemble that allowed her ankle monitor to be on full display — Sorokin holds her long blonde locks in one hand and holds the red bunny leashes with the other outside a Subway station in downtown Manhattan. Sorokin served almost four years in prison over duping Manhattan's elite and spent another 18 months in immigration detention for overstaying her U.S. visa. She is now required to wear an ankle monitor as part of the terms of her house arrest. Terry Chao, a blogger, saw one of the rabbits in Prospect Park hiding in a bush, the New York Times reported. She told the outlet that she had recognized the bunny from a Facebook group, where some bunnies had recently been listed for adoption. 'They went and got those bunnies for the shoot, basically as props, and then dumped them,' Chao told the paper. 'They don't have any survival mechanisms like wild rabbits do.' Sorokin shared screenshots from a text exchange that suggest a person named Christian Batty ditched the rabbits in the park. The Independent has made attempts to contact Batty. Chao said in an Instagram statement that Batty had reached out to her before the photoshoot to scout for bunnies. He later showed up and helped her rescue a bunny from the shoot, she said. Batty apologized in a since-deleted Instagram post, which was reposted by Sorokin and Chao. 'When I realized the rabbits were being surrendered to me, I panicked,' the post read. 'At 19, with no experience caring for animals, no pet-friendly housing, and no knowledge of available resources, I felt overwhelmed and made the worst possible choice. Believing, mistakenly, that there were existing rabbits in that area, I released them there, thinking that was my best option.' Sorokin said she had nothing to do with the planning of the photoshoot. She said she had agreed to pose for the photographer, Jasper Egan Soloff. His lawyer disputed Sorokin's claims. 'This was not Jasper's photo shoot, and he did not arrange any of the details surrounding it,' he told the NYT, noting his client had been hired to take photos of Sorokin. 'Jasper had no knowledge or input as to how the bunnies were obtained or what happened to them after the photo shoot.' In a statement on Instagram on Tuesday, Sorokin said she donated $1,000 to the nonprofit All About Rabbits Rescue. The Independent has reached out to the nonprofit to confirm that it had received a donation from Sorokin.

Reba McEntire pens sweet remembrance of 'oldest son' Brandon Blackstock

Reba McEntire is remembering her stepson, Brandon Blackstock, who died at 48 following a cancer battle. "Last week, my stepson/oldest son Brandon Blackstock went home to be with God. His struggle is over and he is in eternal peace in God's presence," McEntire shared in an Aug. 12 Instagram post. "There is no one else like him, and I'm thankful for the time we had together," she continued. "His legacy and laughter will be carried on through his family. Rest in peace cowboy. Happy trails to you til we meet again." Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson's onetime manager and husband from 2013 to 2020, died Aug. 7 after a three-year cancer battle. His cause of death was determined to be melanoma. A post shared by Reba McEntire (@reba) "It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away," a statement from Blackstock's family, shared with USA TODAY Aug. 7, read. "Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family," the statement continued. "We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time." Brandon Blackstock's cause of death: What to know about Kelly Clarkson's ex, melanoma How are Reba McEntire and Brandon Blackstock related? McEntire married Blackstock's father, music manager Narvel Blackstock, in 1989; they had one son, racecar driver Shelby Blackstock. The two divorced in 2015. After Clarkson and Blackstock announced their split in 2020, McEntire told Entertainment Tonight that though she considered Blackstock to be a son, she wasn't taking sides during the divorce. "Brandon's been my son forever it seems. Although he's my stepson, I still love him like he's my total (son) – my blood, so I'm praying for 'em both 'cause I love 'em both," McEntire said. Blackstock and Clarkson have two children: River Rose Blackstock, 11, and Remington "Remy" Alexander Blackstock, 9. He also has two children from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth: Savannah and Seth Blackstock. Speaking with People magazine in 2018, McEntire counted Blackstock and Clarkson's son and daughter among her seven grandchildren at the time. Contributing: Jay Stahl, USA TODAY

De'Von Achane fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions

Rotoworld Staff, De'Von Achane 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: It was a rollercoaster season for one of the summer's most hotly-debated fantasy picks. Achane managed to stay healthy after his injury-marred rookie year but watched his efficiency nosedive as he took the rock over 200 times on the ground. Far and away the league leader in average rush yards over expected in 2023, Achane found himself seventh from the bottom in 2024. Although prolific as a pass catcher (78 receptions), Achane did not tack on long runs. Just 31.5 percent of his ground production came on carries of 15-plus yards after that number was a league-leading 54.0 as a rookie. What's changed: All that being said, Achane still finished as the RB6 by average PPR points. No. 2 Raheem Mostert has been swapped out for second-year pro Jaylen Wright. The sophomore is a legitimate workload threat to Achane, but you could argue that's not even a bad thing. Achane could be the (extremely) rare back fantasy managers actually want to handle the ball less between the tackles so he can better maintain his efficiency and big-play potential. 2025 Outlook: Achane is a difficult back to project, but the Dolphins still desperately need his hands in the passing game. It is difficult to see how he falls out of the top 12, and easy to envision him sneaking into the top five with even modest efficiency gains or better long-gain luck.
