He had allegedly persuaded the victim to transfer the money as payment for ceremonial attire accessories linked to the award. Sabah MACC director Datuk S. Karunanithy confirmed the arrest, adding that the suspect was released after posting RM5,000 of a RM10,000 bail and will be charged at the Kota Kinabalu Special Corruption Court this Thursday under Section 16(a)(A) of the MACC Act 2009. * Follow us on our official WhatsApp channel and Telegram for breaking news alerts and key updates! * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
