Now, his show will give fans the chance to sit down for the intimate show to hear about Gavin's more than 30-year-long career in showbiz.
The show comes to Dumbarton's Denny Civic Theatre, in St Marys Way, on Friday, July 4, at 7.30pm.

Away from comedy, Gavin has taken on more serious roles, appearing in TV dramas such as Monarch of the Glen and The Field of Blood.
Gavin received the 'Best Actor' award at the Scottish Comedy Awards 2019 for his Still Game role along the way.

In December last year, punters at one Lanarkshire pub did a double take when they spotted Gavin pulling pints behind ther bar ahead of a gig as he chatted away and snapped selfies with excited fans.
Gavin thrilled locals with a surprise appearance at The Weavers, in Strathaven, ahead of his new stand-up show.

Jones said: 'Oh, what's occurring. I'll tell you what's occurring. I'm Ruth Jones. The real Ruth Jones and I have finally decided after many years to go on Instagram. 'The reason is that there are quite a lot of accounts out there pretending to be me, but they are not. This is the real me. So, yeah, I'm starting my Instagram journey, much later than everyone else in the world. 'I'll be sharing a little bit of personal, a little bit of work and sometimes I won't say anything at all. Regardless, this is me. This is where you can find me - ruthjonesgenuine.' Following the post, fellow celebrities were quick to welcome Jones to the platform. Amanda Holden said: 'Welcome babe.' Sheridan Smith says she'd return to comedy 'in a heartbeat' as she's inspired by Gavin & Stacey comeback

Sheridan Smith says she'd return to comedy 'in a heartbeat' as she's inspired by Gavin & Stacey comeback Sheridan Smith would love to see a Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps reunion happening, admitting her former co-stars are like "pals" (Image: BANG Showbiz) Sheridan Smith says she'd be in a reunion of the popular sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, "in a heartbeat". ‌ The 44 year old actress, who has recently been associated with more serious drama roles, is now "ready to do comedy" and would be delighted to reunite with co-stars Ralf Little, Natalie Casey, Will Mellor and Kathryn Drysdale. The much-loved show ran for nine series from 2001 to 2011. ‌ When asked about the potential reunion by The Guardian newspaper, Sheridan - who departed the show after the eighth series - responded: "I'd love to do that. Especially after seeing Gavin + Stacey, where they all came back together." ‌ Read more: BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025 celebrity line-up, pro dancers, judges and when to watch Read more: BBC drama hailed 'phenomenal' by viewers lands on Netflix From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What's On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here Article continues below Sheridan added added: "I think Two Pints was like our uni for people who didn't do uni. It would be a reunion with all your pals. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if everyone wanted to." Sheridan's next role will see her portraying Ann Ming in I Fought the Law. Ann fought to change the double jeopardy law, which prevented individuals from being tried twice for the same crime, after Billy Dunlop was acquitted of murdering her daughter Julie Hogg, only to later confess to the crime. Sheridan admitted that this role was the "hardest job [she] has ever done". ‌ Having achieved sobriety and found herself in a better place, Sheridan - who shares a five year old son with ex-partner Jamie Horn - has pledged to approach such challenging roles with more caution in the future. She said: "Obviously I used to drink and find my way through it that way – but now that I've found therapy, got my little boy, I'm sober, doing yoga and meditation, I'm a totally different person. "I Fought the Law took it out of me and I'll be mindful of what jobs I take in the future because I'm in the best place I've been. I have to always remember that the real-life characters have actually gone through this but I think a little bit of each character stays in me.. ‌ "I was always going back and forth between drinking and sobriety. But this time I feel it's for real. "I am, though, going to choose my parts very carefully. Sobriety and my son come first, so anything that might knock me off kilter I would be careful of. "I go home and look into my little boy's face and hope that one day he'll be proud I did these things." Article continues below

Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page 'nearly got finger bitten off' during filming for TV drama

Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page"nearly" got her finger bitten off by a dog while she was on set. The 48-year-old actress made her screen debut in 1999's David Copperfield playing Dora Spenlow, the spouse of the title character, who also owned the "gorgeous" canine called Jip. Joanna concealed "sausage meat" in her palm to encourage the dog to accompany her throughout filming and during a romantic scene where Dora declared her affection for David before sharing a kiss Jip frantically attempted to reach the food in Joanna's grasp, biting her in the process. Speaking on the August 16 edition of the BBC quiz show Pointless Celebrities she remembered: "I nearly got my finger bitten off by a pug dog during filming of [David Copperfield] because Dora has got this gorgeous little pug called Jip. "And to get the dog to go everywhere with me, I had to carry sausage meat in my hand but the pug would really go for it." For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter. She added: "And there was one time when I was sitting on this sofa with David and I think I had to go: 'Oh, I love you, David,' and we had to kiss. "And the pug was like desperately trying to get into my hand and then bit my finger and you know the way they breathe. So we had this romantic kiss with this pug breathing like this and then biting off my finger. "And, as ever the professional, I carried on." David Copperfield was a two-part Christmas special mini-series for the BBC which ran from 1999 until 2000 and was adapted from Charles Dickens' haunting semi-autobiographical tale The Personal History of David Copperfield. It chronicles David's journey from infancy to adulthood. As well as almost losing a finger it was a major show for Joanna as she encountered her husband James Thornton, 49, while filming David Copperfield. The actress said she realised she wanted him to father her future four children – daughters Eva, 12, and Boe, four, and sons Kit, 10, and Noah, nine – after witnessing James form such a strong connection with actor Daniel Radcliffe, then playing a young David Copperfield, who went on to be the star of the Harry Potter movies. Joanna said: "I first started when I was in David Copperfield one Christmas and I played Dora Spenlow, David's wife. "And my husband was actually in it and he played Ham Peggotty. And I saw him and Daniel Radcliffe was in it and he was only dinky. "And James, my husband, had to pick him up and put him on his shoulders and walk along the seashore with him. "And I said to my mum: 'I want that man to be the father of my children.'"
