جهاز PS Portal يستطيع الآن بث أكثر من 200 لعبة دون الاعتماد على جهاز PS5
لم تكن انطلاقة جهاز PS Portal بالشكل الذي تصوره الكثيرون، إذ أن افتقاره لقدرة تشغيل الألعاب بشكل مستقل، واعتماده على جهاز PS5 للبث كانت عاملًا سلبيًا كبيرًا، جلب الكثير من الجدل وبعض الآراء الغاضبة، لكن ذلك لم يستمر لفترة طويلة، إذ قامت Sony بحل المشكلة من خلال السماح له ببث الألعاب بشكل مستقل.
وأصبح جهاز PS Portal الآن قادرًا على بث أكثر من 200 لعبة دون الحاجة إلى جهاز PS5، مما يجعله يتقد خطوة كبيرةً للأمام، ويقترب من شكل جهاز المحمول الذي يستطيع تشغيل الألعاب بشكل مستقل عِلمًا أنه يقوم بالبث عبر الشبكة ولا يشغل الألعاب ذاتيًا.
لكن تجدر الإشارة إلى البث السحابي لجهاز PS Portal لا يزال في مرحلة تجريبية لمشتركي PS Plus Premium، ولم تذكر شركة Sony متى سيكون جاهزًا للإطلاق بشكل رئيسي على جميع فئات الاشتراك، لكنها دون شك ميزةٌ قوية جدًا للجهاز ومستخدميه حتى في مرحلتها التجريبية، وهي في الحقيقة ضرورية جدًا لاستمرار الجهاز ورفع مبيعاته بشكلٍ أفضل.
هذا وقد انتشرت قائمة في الألعاب التي يمكن للجهاز تشغيلها عن طريق البث دون الحاجة إلى جهاز بلايستيشن 5 على موقع Reddit، تضم القائمة حتى الآن ما لا يقل عن 212 لعبة، مع استمرار Sony في دعم وإضافة المزيد، وللتذكير، يقتصر البث السحابي لجهاز بلايستيشن بورتال على مناطق محددة حول العالم حتى اللحظة.
