Boots' 'lovely' £35 serum that 'stops lines and wrinkles' now £10
Boots shoppers can get a serum "clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to five years" for just £10. Priced at £34.95, the bestselling skincare product features in Boots' £10 Tuesday sale.
The weekly shopping event sees hundreds of products discounted, including the No7 LABORATORIES LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum 15ml, which is better than half price in the one-day sale. Boots says No7 has sold more than four million booster serums, and the dermatologist-approved product has an average rating of 3.8 out of five.
One impressed shopper said they saw "an amazing difference in a deep frown line" on their forehead after two weeks of use. Another claimed that "it takes years off you."
However, not everyone reported the same results. Shoppers looking for alternatives might prefer the Olay Anti-Wrinkle Firm & Lift 2in1 Face Cream + Serum 50ml, which is £13.99 at Superdrug.
Alternatively, customers with a bigger budget might like the Plantscription Active Wrinkle Correction Serum, which is currently half price at £37.50 at Beauty Bay, or the Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Serum 30ml, which is on offer for £49.60 at Look Fantastic.
The product description for Boots' product says: "No7 LABORATORIES LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum is our most supercharged serum to date. Formulated with 7x the Matrixyl 3000+ than our previous clinically proven serums.
"It's been clinically proven to visibly reduce the appearance of even the deepest, most stubborn lines and wrinkles. Designed to be applied directly to lines and wrinkles for fast, visible results where you want them most."
Boots explains that Matrixyl 3000+ is "No7's powerful peptide blend that supports the skins natural springs providing elasticity and bounce, which depletes as we age."
One happy reviewer said: "It really works! I've been using this for just two weeks and I can see an amazing difference in a deep frown line on my forehead. The product feels lovely to apply and most importantly it really works!"
Another customer commented: "Wow this does work. I was sceptical reading the other reviews but picked it up for £10 Tuesday offer. It really does work. After losing weight and gaining a few years, I noticed a few deep brow lines starting. After one week of they are virtually gone."
Unfortunately, some reviewers weren't happy with their results. One such shopper said: "Been using a while and not noticed any visible difference. Glad I bought this on offer would not pay full price."
A second wrote: "Bit disappointing. Goes on nicely but can't really see its making a difference and this is the second one I've purchased..so don't think I'll buy any more."
A different response read: "Have nearly finished the vial in a short amount of time. I do not see the slightest difference in my lines. If it weren't for the Tuesday offer I would not have tried it. I don't think I will be repurchasing again. There are cheaper option on the market which are better."
Despite this, many of the reviews remained positive. Someone else said: "It takes years off you! I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and have found it really works and is beneficial for my wrinkled skin." A fan added: "Stops the lines & wrinkles. I love this serum, works so well on reducing lines. Always get this when on offer."

'This leave-in mask that's 'better than Olaplex' has completely changed my hair'
Shopping Writer Meghan has been on a haircare journey this year, searching for the best products to repair and restore her bleached hair, and she can't believe the results of this hair mask I've been trying a whole host of hair products this year to try and find the ones that work best on my fine, relatively short, bleached hair. Prone to breakage thanks to the bleach, and so thin that most products weigh it down, my hair has always been slow to grow and unwilling to cooperate with thick or heavy haircare treatments. So when I got my hands on this leave-in hair mask, I was apprehensive to hope it would work on my hair. But I've been pleasantly surprised. This Hairification H24 Complex Leave-in Repair Mask has been touted as "better than K18 and Olaplex for half the price" - a bold statement, but one that this leave-in mask lives up to. I've had Olaplex treatments used on my hair at the salon, as well as some K18 treatments, but I can't tell the difference between the results of this leave-in mask and those higher-end hair products. This Hairification Leave-in Repair Mask, retailing for the wallet-friendly price of £10.99 at Boots, promises to be the ultimate undercover agent for reversing damage and returning stressed strands to former glory in just four minutes. Clinically proven to strengthen hair by up to 312%, my new Leave-In Repair Mask has been formulated with proprietary ingredients for maximum impact. Its formula boasts Fibrehance, which works to build new bonds within the hair, combined with Procutigen Bond, which helps prevent damage, breakage, and moisture loss. Elsewhere in the leave-in mask is Col-Frag, which actively hydrates and smooths the hair, while Elaya Renova protects the hair from high heat and UV damage, ensuring its benefits last long after it has been applied. With its array of peptides and bond-rebuilding tech, the leave-in mask promises to become a holy grail for damaged, overprocessed hair, producing visibly stronger strands in minutes, no salon visit needed. And in the weeks since I've been using it, all of the promises are true. It's designed to be applied to towel-dry hair right after a shower, which is how I've been using it. I've been pairing it with the Hairification H24 Complex Hair Repair Peptide Shampoo and Conditioner in conjunction with the hair mask, which is ideal for optimal results, though this isn't mandatory. I've also been trialling the Hairification Pure Grow Shampoo, which prioritises encouraging new hair growth. The consistency of the mask is unlike the ones I'm used to, such as the Hask Repair Leave-In Treatment. It comes out as a cream that needs to be worked through the hands until it emulsifies and then turns into an almost paste-like consistency. This concerned me at first since my thin hair tends to struggle with soaking up thicker, heavier formulas. But I run it through my hair as instructed and leave it to air-dry with the rest of my hair. In the weeks since I've been using this mask, my hair feels healthier, smoother and truly nourished, eradicating any dry or brittle strands and replacing them with soft and silky hair. My hair looks healthy too, with fewer flyaways and an overall shinier, sleeker appearance than I've had in some time. The biggest plus of this mask is that you only need to use it for the first 4 to 6 washes, and then thereafter only as required. I started off using it after every wash and then reduced it to once a week. It's been ideal having a salon-like treatment in my own bathroom that I can pick up and use whenever I need, without having to spend a fortune. My go-to leave-in treatment from Hask is available for £9.90 at the Perfume Club. If you'd rather shop the real deal, Lookfantastic is selling this Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Repairing Hair Treatment for £30. You can also find this K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask for £45 (down from its full price of £70) at Debenhams.

Perimenopausal woman loses nearly 3 stone in 5 months even though she 'loves food'
Rochelle last 40 pounds within five months through intermittent fasting with the help of a handy app Financial aid officer and Portland based musical theatre performer Rochelle came across the Simple app one night after getting to a "point of desperation" with her body image. "Being perimenopausal, knowing that I was gaining a bunch of weight and not being able to take it off and knowing that I needed to get at a certain point of taking off weight" is what lead Rochelle to this stage, she says. "I'd heard everybody talking about intermittent fasting and I'm just going to say this flat out: I love food. So starting to not have food at certain times, I was thinking: 'This is never going to work for me'. However, after about two weeks in, I got used to not having to eat at night." Boots reduces 'charming' £66 perfume that 'makes you feel like royalty' to £26 48p-a-day supplement 'solved tummy issues' for shoppers but deal ends soon With an increase of people such as Rochelle focusing on their health and wellbeing, customers can join similar journeys and use the code REACH60 to get a 60% discount on tailored weight loss plans from the Simple app, which includes intermittent fasting options. The user-friendly app helps customers begin their journey by first completing a survey covering their health goals, concerns, preferences and past experiences with weight loss. Once this is completed, they will gain access to a range of features such as food logging through typing, voice or photo and a Nutriscanner. When it comes to intermittent fasting, the Simple method doesn't include calorie counting, cutting out essential food groups or weighing every bite. Instead, it prioritises safety and sustainability, which is what Rochelle also experienced. "I still go out and have my fish and chips at my pub. I have my hamburger but instead of getting french fries, I'm getting a salad next to it. I've found the love of avocados again and actually using mushrooms," she says. "I break my fast with a really good Greek yogurt and granola with nuts in it - either almonds, walnuts or just some sort of nut going into it. I haven't changed a lot of what I'm eating, just when I'm eating." The app also offers daily workout plans that are tailored into seven-day plans, which can include strength training, cardio and even wall pilates. A huge feature that sets the Simple app apart is in the in-app coach, Avo. Powered by AI, Avo is a personal wellness assistant that can answer user queries instantly, meaning users have round-the-clock access to wellbeing and fitness advice whenever required. Rochelle, who has lost 40 pounds within the first five months of being on the programme, says she still uses the scanning feature every day on Avo, using the app to be able to see all her food and how health it is. "I do the daily check ins using the Simple app and using Avo and I can figure out if I'm still on track. I am still on track and I'm still losing," she says. "I still have about 35 pounds to go where I want to be at this point, and I'm just doing it in little chunks and not a big: 'I have to lose 150 pounds'." "I'm taking it in small bits and pieces so that it is manageable and that I don't get discouraged because I'm not losing fast enough or anything like that. But it's been easy. It's been a lot easier than I thought it would... If I can do it because I love my food... anybody can do it," she says. If this app isn't for everyone, there are a range of others on the market such as MyFitnessPal which is a health and fitness tracking smartphone app and website that is available for Android and iOS devices. Customers are able to login and track their calorie intake, exercise and weight loss goals in aims to help them. Another option could be Lifesum which is a global platform that tracks food intake and exercise, offers personalised feedback, recipes and meal plans. However, with 17 million downloads, shoppers have shared their opinions on the Simple app. One said: 'This app has been absolutely life changing for me... it just made everything so simple... I can actually do things I love to do... like a long walk with my kids." Matt, who has lost 57 lbs with Simple, said it has been a 'game changer' in his life, after he struggled with being consistent but thanks to the app he was able to change this. Chris, who lost 45 pounds with Simple said he 'loves the recipes' the AI coach Avo recommends him, and also uses the food feedback tool to help him learn. Some others shared different opinions on Trustpilot, however, as one person said: "I found it overwhelming. Suddenly I had registered for trainers, advisors, and other things that would occupy my whole day. I was simply interested in a few exercise ideas and different easy meal plans." However, Rochelle says that: "People at work were like: 'Wait a second, you're disappearing,' which was a great thing. Of course now I've had to go out and buy all new clothes because nothings fitting at this point. That's a lovely thing and it was actually very easy once I got used to it and got everything up and running." Tailored plans are available from The Simple app.

Olivia Bowen shares her go-to baby bottles as she prepares for daughter's birth
Olivia Bowen has raved about the baby bottles she's bought ahead of welcoming her daughter, and you can snap up the same multi-pack shoppers hailed 'really fantastic' for under £38 As she gets ready to welcome her second child, Olivia Bowen has been sharing some of the items she's bought to get ready for the arrival of her daughter. Amongst them is the Philips Avent Baby Bottle Newborn Gift Set for Babies Aged 0-12 Months+ which she said have been their 'go-to for baby girl's bottles!' The multi-pack of baby bottles is the perfect starter set for expecting mums, offering four bottles in varying sizes as well as different teats to help get your baby started. It's also a great affordable pick, with the complete set priced at just £36.95. Included in the gift set is two 260ml baby bottles, two 125ml baby bottles, one bottle brush, two slow teats, two medium teats and two ultra-soft soothers for newborn to six months. The 125ml bottles are the perfect size for newborns, whilst the 260ml bottles are ideal for later on. The Newborn Gift Set is the perfect place to start for both feeding and soothing new babies, with a natural response teat which lets babies drink at their own rhythm, just like they would whilst breast feeding. A celever opening on the teats make sure milk is only released whilst your baby is actively drinking, so when they pause to swallow or breathe, the milk flow pauses too. The bottles also feature an AirFree vent, which is designed for extra protection against colic, gas and reflux. Shoppers have also been thrilled with the design, with one saying: 'Really fantastic bottles. Well made and a great first set. The newborn of a friend was definitely a huge fan of them.' Another agreed: 'The bottles are great, come in the perfect sizes for newborn and for a baby with a bigger appetite. I love that the set includes the bottle brush and dummy. The teat is one of the best I've used as it only works when baby is actively drinking milk. The bottles compare to breast so the baby latches to it easily. As I've had colicky babies before, I love that this bottle has an anti colic valve!' Whilst a third added: 'I would recommend this product as you have options of bottles to choose from and helps when they grown you have small and big bottles. I would ask to improve the dummy as it is box standard but overall great starter kit to get you going.' In fact currently the Newborn Gift Set has no negative reviews on Debenhams, making it a great option for new parents. Elsewhere, Boots is currently running a great sale on baby products that's perfect for saving some money. The Tommee Tippee Complete Feeding Set is usually £99.99 but is now £79.99, and you can also use the code BABYAUG to save an additional 10% on any baby products over £30. The kit includes an electric steam steriliser, an Easiwarm bottle warmer, two 150ml natural start baby bottles, two 150ml advanced anti-colic baby bottles, one ultra-light soother, one breast-like soother, two milk feeding bibs, one insulated bottle bag and one bottle & teat bottle brush. Meanwhile Argos currently has the MAM Easy Start Anti-Colic Small Baby Bottle Set for £50. It includes two 130ml bottles including extra slow flow no. 0 teats, two 160ml bottles including slow flow no. 1 teats, four 260ml bottle bodies, one 0-2 month Start soother, one extra soft bottle spout and one hold my bottle.
