Top Boy star welcomes daughter with beloved girlfriend as actor reveals tot's sweet name in gushing post: 'We love you so much it hurts'
The actor, 30, who played Gem in the award winning Netflix series, took to Instagram on Saturday, to announce their bundle of joy had arrived one week earlier.
As well as sharing a slew of sweet snaps of the adorable newborn Giacomo also revealed her name, Mia Bella Mancini.
The tot, dressed in a pink cardigan, was seen in her Moses basket as well as sleeping on her father's bare chest.
Giacomo captioned the post: 'August 9th 2025..The day you captured our hearts. Mummy and Daddy love you so much it hurts!'.
Fans and famous friends rushed to the comments including former EastEnders actress and former Top Boy co-star Kierston Wareing who gushed: 'Congratulations'.
After making his screen debut in Top Boy, Giacomo has gone on to appear in The IT Crowd, Ripper Street and is currently starring in Amazon's sci-fi series Supacell.
When Top Boy first aired in 2011, it cast mainly unknown actors and told a gritty and realistic tale of gangsters on a tough Hackney estate.
Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson starred as drug dealers with a cast of mostly unknown actors.
It lasted two series before being dropped by Channel 4, three years later, following interest from Drake, the show was saved and three more series were made by Netflix.
And the show seems to have become the perfect training ground for young British stars. Last year Jasmine Jobson, who had her big break on the show, won the Best Supporting Actress BAFTA for her role.
The 20-year-old, who grew up in west London and put herself into care aged 14, said the show 'changed her life'.
'I was just a normal girl from west London that was just trying to do better for myself and was just wishing and hoping for the best.
'And one day I went from working in a bar full time and acting part time to suddenly acting full time and now acting pays my bills. So Top Boy saved my life,' she said accepting the award.
Fans and famous friends rushed to the comments including former EastEnders actress and former Top Boy co-star Kierston Wareing who gushed: 'Congratulations'
The actress, who played Jaq in the series, was cast in the third season of the show, after it was 'saved' by Drake.
The first two seasons of the show aired on Channel 4 in 2011, before being dropped in 2014.
Three years later, the Hotline Bling hitmaker teamed up with Netflix to revamp the show, with a new cast as well as the original cast members Dushane and Sully, played by Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson.
Speaking at BAFTA Television's The Sessions in 2020, the show's creator Ronan Bennett, 68, admitted he didn't know who Drake was when he was first approached by the Canadian rap superstar.
'After two successful seasons on Channel 4, when Top Boy was cancelled it was one of those ones I wasn't able to shrug off.
'It meant too much. It was an incredible family feeling about the cast and the crew and filmmakers. It was very hard and difficult to understand.
'When I heard that Drake was interested I didn't pay it a lot of mind, partly because I didn't know who he was.
'It wasn't until I met him a bit later that it became clear he was serious and we really had a chance of going forward.'
Ronan went on: 'I realised maybe it turns out he's quite big. We met him in London, myself and my colleagues, he was great.
'And he was very genuine and just really loved it and all he said to us was we just want you to do what you do and all we want to be is the fuel to your fire and to help it get back up again.
'He didn't want to control it, he wanted us to do the same thing again.'

James Norton looks in good spirits as he lets his hair down at All Points East after he partied with Lily Allen
James Norton looked in good spirits as he let his hair down at All Points East at Victoria Park, London on Saturday night. The Happy Valley actor, 40, partied with friends at the festival ahead of watching headliners Chase and Status. James cut a casual figure as he layered a red open shirt over a black tank top and matching jeans. The Grantchester star, who was seen partying with singer and actress Lily Allen earlier this year, was joined by two male pals while enjoying beverages at the festival. It comes hot on the heels of the actor partying with Ms Allen at Lido Festival in east London on June 14, where the pair had their fans talking after being seen cosying up to each other as they chatted and danced together. However, two weeks later Norton was reportedly seen holding hands with socialite Flora Huddart at the NYC Downlow nightclub at the Glastonbury festival. Ms Huddart is the daughter of Vogue stylist Arabella Huddart and the sister of Georgiana Huddart, co-founder of cult swimwear brand Hunza G. Ms Allen, 40, ended her four-year marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 50, last December after reportedly discovering that he had a secret profile on the exclusive dating app Raya. Norton's love life has also made headlines in recent years. He dated his War And Peace co-star Jessie Buckley from 2015 to 2017 and was engaged to the actress Imogen Poots, but they split after six years together in 2023. Late last year he had a brief romance with Prada model Charlotte Rose Smith, 25. Neither Norton nor Ms Huddart have confirmed their relationship. Last month James said he is 'crazily grateful for the pain' of his split from Imogen. The actor got engaged to the 28 Weeks Later actress, 36, in 2022 after four years together, but they split in 2023. The Little Women star now views Imogen's decision to end their relationship as a 'gift'. The Grantchester star, who was seen partying with singer and actress Lily Allen earlier this year, was joined by two male pals while enjoying beverages at the festival Speaking at this year's Glastonbury Festival, James told The Sun: 'It was a gift in a weird, roundabout way. 'She called it. She realised it wasn't working - I'm crazily grateful for the pain she caused me.' James admitted the split was a 'massive' moment in his life because he thought he and Imogen were going to raise a family together. He said: 'I got broken up with and it was massive. I thought I was going to have kids. The life I thought I was going to have disappeared at 38.' The Happy Valley actor previously insisted he hasn't given up hope of having a family, despite the end of his engagement. He told The Sunday Times: 'Getting older is a struggle if you are freaking out about the choices you've made, but I don't carry regret. 'And, you know, some of the choices recently weren't mine, yet I don't feel begrudging. Maybe next year I'll have a family and a relationship ... 'You have a certain amount of control over your life and choices you make, and at other times you don't. 'But if you made those choices or not, it's a shame to spend time agonising over either.' And despite his desire to have children, James doesn't think it would have been 'fair' for him to start a family in recent years. He said: 'I don't sit on set where I'm playing a dad and feel sad and broody. 'I love hanging out with kids - most of my friends have kids so I'm not quite in step with my peers - but the past few years have been the busiest I've been, so it would not have been fair to bring a child into that. 'Also, the inherently unfair benefit of being a man is there is less rush. I am lucky I can have kids later, so now I'm happy, actually, with my life. I feel really excited by the choices I've made.'

Richard Madeley lookalike competition baffles locals as VERY unexpected winner is announced (and the GMB host might not be too pleased!)
A Richard Madeley lookalike competition baffled Stockport locals this weekend - and the winner of the contest was very unexpected indeed. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 69, might not have been too pleased that it was won by a dog - Larry the pug. Just 16 people officially entered the competition which was organised by a 'Mrs Jones' with around 200 in attendance at Stockport's Alexandra Park on Sunday to watch proceedings. Larry the pug proudly wore a wig as he posed for his winning pictures with his family including nine-year-old Molly Glover and her mother Louise. Finalists also included locals Arthur Hassall, Paul Lockitt and Kate Trevor who all posed for a picture together at the end of the afternoon. Earlier this month mystery engulfed the local area as mystery flyers advertising the competition popped up. A Richard Madeley lookalike competition baffled Stockport locals this weekend - and the winner of the contest was very unexpected indeed Social media speculation began after they appeared as it was revealed there would be prizes on offer for the top three lookalikes Nicci Owen, who owns a coffee shop in the park, said the flyers were 'dotted across notice boards' but then mysteriously disappeared. She told BBC Radio Manchester: 'No one saw who put them up but, obviously as soon as anyone saw it they were just so excited. But, is it real?' In May, it was claimed Richard reportedly faced the axe from Good Morning Britain amid ITV's 'bloodbath' as the channel makes sweeping cuts to its daytime programming. The broadcaster, who is reportedly paid a whopping £300K a year, was said to be left furious but managed to negotiate a new part time contract with bosses, which would see his hours and pay significant cut. Meanwhile, according to the The Sun, Lorraine Kelly, 65, whose own show has been cut down to 30 minutes, was 'asked to retire' but she declined, opting instead to see out her reported £500K contact before leaving ITV for good at the end of next year. A source told the publication: 'This one has really rocked the ITV corridors because Richard is such a big name and a legend of daytime telly. 'On Wednesday, word started to spread he'd been axed. But, by Friday, it became apparent Richard had a meeting with the network's most senior bosses and he's now being kept on in a more part-time role. Nicci Owen, who owns a coffee shop in the park, said the flyers were 'dotted across notice boards' but then mysteriously disappeared (Richard seen on GMB) 'He's got himself back on the show - but his hours are significantly cut.' It comes as in recent months Richard has been suffering from a painful injury and sporting a wrist strap. Richard opened up about his ailment during an appearance on GMB recently as he revealed he fell over on holiday. As Susanna Reid pointed out his wrist guard and remarked it looked 'sore', Richard explained: 'It is a double fracture of the wrist. I was walking quite quickly down a steep pavement, in France actually.' Richard continued: 'It was loose and it flipped up. It flipped me forward and I thought... 'Am I going to win or is gravity going to win?' 'Gravity won. I hit the ground hard. I've got a double fracture. We'll see how it goes.' Susanna asked: 'Is it sore at the moment?' The signs were set up early in the morning Crowds and press gathered to watch To which Richard replied: 'I'm not discussing the pain threshold. We don't think about pain.' This wasn't the end of Richard's health woes as he then suffered through another show days later with a sore threat. Opening the show, Susanna quipped: 'I'm a bit concerned we might lose you through the programme...' A croaky-voiced Richard pointed at his throat and asked: 'This thing? I think it'll get stronger throughout the programme. That's my prediction.'

Jojo Siwa hints at her plans to start a family with boyfriend Chris Hughes after being forced to deny pregnancy rumours
JoJo Siwa has revealed her plans to start a family 'aren't that far away,' as her romance with boyfriend Chris Hughes heats up. The couple cemented their relationship in May after meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, and have since documented their loved-up trips together on social media. And after travelling to the UK to promote her new song Raspy, JoJo has told The Sun that she 'craves' motherhood in the future. The Dance Moms star, 22, was previously forced to deny speculation she was pregnant after the wild theory circulated on TikTok. Asked whether she still wants children, she said: 'I crave them, I absolutely would love to have babies, it's absolutely in my future and I don't think it's that far away. 'I'm at a place in my life where my career by no means is slowing down, but my career is at a point where it works and it runs and I know how to do everything that I'm doing and I'm not learning anything new, so I'm at a great place with that. 'Obviously I have a great boy in my life, there's a lot of things to happen before then, but definitely want kids.' During the interview, JoJo also hinted that she and Chris have plans for a holiday together this autumn, after the star wraps her Infinity Heart tour in October. JoJo previously poked fun at rumours that she was pregnant in June after a loved-up TikTok video with boyfriend Chris sent fans wild with speculation. She asked her fans to play the game '2 truths & a lie' - before she read out three statements, one being a lie and the other two being truthful. She then said: '1. I've never smoked a [cigarette] 2. I'm pregnant 3. This song comes out on Spotify Friday.' JoJo was playing into online speculation that she could be expecting after Chris gently rubbed his finger over her tummy during a recent TikTok video. Fans wrote things like, 'Pregnancy craving???' as she tucked into a plate of red food. After JoJo shared the 'two truths and a lie' video, social media users jumped to the comments to choose which option was the lie, while others applauded JoJo for nonchalantly poking fun at the pregnancy speculation. Comments included: 'Everyone's saying it's 1 or 3, meaning everyone thinks she's pregnant; You Gonna be a Dance mom.' 'Not you addressing the pregnancy rumours in the most hilarious fashion; 'oelle not u egging on the pregnant rumors. You're too funny.' Chris recently revealed he turned his relationship with JoJo from friendship into romance by putting his feelings down on paper. The pair became instant friends on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year and began dating after the final. Chris told how he went to the US to surprise JoJo for her birthday and wrote down his feelings on a piece of paper in a hotel bar in order to tell her how he really felt. Speaking to The Sun, he said: 'I was confused about how I felt. Then I wasn't confused anymore. I knew I needed to write it down to explain to her how I was feeling. 'I went to Florida thinking "I really like this person", but I was slightly confused about the feelings. I had already written her birthday card before I flew over. I took all these presents over for her. They were fun and sentimental gifts rather than anything of monetary value. 'But the night before her birthday, I realised my feelings had changed. I told her: "I've got to go do something. I'll be back in half an hour." I went to the hotel reception and borrowed a pen and came back up to the room.' Chris said he loved JoJo as a friend at first but his feelings began to change towards the end of the series. Up until her relationship with Chris, JoJo had identified as a lesbian and was in a relationship with Australian influencer Kath Ebbs, although they quickly broke up after she left the Big Brother house.
