Duduzile Zuma on July riots threat: 'Round 2 will be worse'
The political party is demanding the dismissal of Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu – who was placed on a leave of absence – amid claims he orchestrated a criminal syndicate.
The party also wants President Cyril Ramaphosa to tender his resignation.
In an Instagram post, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla pledged her allegiance to Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi once again. The daughter of the former president threatened to rally the MK Party into action if anything happened to the KZN provincial police commissioner.
Posting a flier for the party's protest march, which occurred on Friday, 18 July, she shared: 'Once they touch him, kuzonyiwa. Round two will be worse. Let's protect this man'.

Duduzile is referring to claims she incited violence through her social media posts during the July 2021 riots.
During the civil unrest, the 42-year-old former housewife retweeted several videos of the violence and looting, which was a direct reaction to her father's incarceration on contempt-of-court charges shortly before.
Duduzile is charged with contravening the Protection of Constitutional Democracy against Terrorist and Related Activities Act (POCDATARA) and incitement to commit violence.
She will appear in the Durban High Court again on 14 August.
During the protest march in Pretoria on Friday, Duduzile-Sambudla Zuma and other MK Party members demanded that action be taken to protect Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

Fake attorney jailed for posing as legal practitioner in court
A 43-year-old man who falsely represented himself as a legal practitioner has been sentenced to six years in prison by the Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Rustenburg. Johannes Tebogo Motse operated for months without registration, deceiving multiple clients and forging legal documents to support his fraudulent activities. Between February and November 2022, Motse illegally appeared in courtrooms as a legal practitioner and took on cases despite having no legal credentials. Furthermore, he went as far as forging a fidelity fund certificate, an admission certificate, and a right of appearance certificate to make his claims convincing. One victim paid Motse R15 000 to file an appeal, but never received any legal service. Additionally, when the client realised the appeal had not progressed, they contacted the police. Investigators quickly uncovered that Motse was not registered with the Legal Practice Council of South Africa. Motse pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud, one count of theft, two counts of forgery, and two counts of uttering. The court also grouped the fraud, forgery, and uttering charges and imposed a six-year direct prison sentence. He received a two-year suspended sentence on the theft charge, provided he repays the R15 000 to the complainant by 31 August. He was also declared unfit to possess a firearm in terms of Section 103 of the Firearms Control Act. Advocate Matshidiso Ramakgaphola stressed that such crimes are growing frequently and must be dealt with firmly. The Director of Public Prosecutions in the North West, Dr Rachel Makhari, welcomed the ruling and praised the state advocate for her work. 'These sentences underscore the NPA's commitment to combating bogus legal practitioners and protecting the integrity of the legal profession and the public,' said Dr Makhari. Malema slams 'sellout' Zuma's Morocco visit
EFF leader Julius Malema has criticised former president and MK Party leader Jacob Zuma for his recent visit to Morocco, calling him a 'sellout'. Zuma met Moroccan officials and expressed his support for Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara, contradicting the ANC's historical stance on the matter. 'That was a complete sellout position,' Malema said. 'Now there's a manoeuvre: they are no longer emphasising their party position on Morocco. They are saying, a former head of state can visit any country and have interactions with those people. No-one is questioning that; we are questioning his position and that of his party in relation to Morocco.' Malema was speaking on the sidelines of his appearance in the East London magistrate's court on Monday. The court heard closing remarks on the matter where Malema and his co-accused are charged with discharging a firearm in public during the EFF's fifth birthday celebration in 2018. He expressed support for Western Sahara's fight for independence: 'We are clear — we are for the people of Western Sahara and we must make sure they realise their freedom in their lifetime.' The conflict between Morocco and Western Sahara stems from Morocco's claim of sovereignty over the disputed territory.
