On Tuesday, when a s*x toy was thrown on the court again, it actually touched Sophie Cunningham's leg.
The star player shared her previous post on X and wrote, 'this did NOT age well.'
Sophie Cunningham also took to her Instagram stories where she said, 'No way that thing actually hit me. I knew I shouldn't have tweeted that.'
While it seems Sophie Cunningham has found humour in this situation, it has sparked outrage among fans.

As per CNN, the Los Angeles Sparks made an official statement on the situation.
The statement reads as, 'During last night's game, an object was thrown onto the court by a fan. Crypto.com Arena security responded immediately and removed the item without delay, allowing the game to resume safely and without further interruption.'
The statement added, 'We commend the arena's security team for their swift and professional response. Incidents of this nature are taken seriously, as they pose a risk to players, officials, and others on the court….'
