Liam Gallagher Pokes Fun at ‘Snidey' Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal During Manchester Show
Speaking from the stage during the band's final show of their six night stand at Manchester's Heaton Park (July 20), Gallagher made reference to the incident at a Coldplay show in San Francisco last week, which saw a pair of attendees embracing but sheepishly hiding from view when they appeared on stage's jumbotron.

The couple were later identified as colleagues at IT company Astronomer. The viral TikTok clip showed Andy Byron (CEO) with his arms around Kristin Cabot (chief human resources officer) at the event. 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy,' Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said from the stage. Byron has since resigned from his position at the company.
On Sunday, Gallagher was speaking before the band's performance of 'Slide Away' and asked the crowd 'do we have any love birds in the house?' He added, 'don't worry, we won't have none of that Coldplay snidey f–ing camera s–t here.'
'Doesn't matter to us who you're f–ing, mingling with, tingling with, fingering with… it's none of our f–ing business. This one's for the love birds anyway,' he said to laughs and cheers from the crowd.
Throughout Coldplay's Music of the Spheres global jaunt — the biggest rock tour of all time, according to Billboard — the group have used a segment where they film audience members and Martin sings an impromptu song to them. In June, Celine Dion was the subject of one song alongside other fans.
At Coldplay's following show in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday (July 19) Martin warned the crowd before starting the segment. 'We'd like to say hello to some of you in the crowd,' he said. 'How we're gonna do that is we're gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.' Flashing a grin, he added, 'So please, if you haven't done your makeup, do your makeup now.'
It's not the first time that Gallagher has made a quip at Martin's expense, famously dubbing the frontman as looking like a 'geography teacher' and called the band a 'bunch of students.' In 2017 the pair performed together at the One Love concert in Manchester following the terror attack at the city's arena. 'I take back everything I've ever said about you,' Liam later said to Martin. 'You sound f–ing really good.'
Oasis are in the midst of their Live '25 reunion tour, with a run of shows set to kick off on Friday (July 25) at London's Wembley Stadium, before the U.K. leg concludes in Edinburgh, Scotland and then heads to Dublin, Ireland.

Woman Asks if It's ‘Petty' Not to Rearrange to Meet with Friends After Previous Plans Were Cancelled Twice
"Two nights now I have been ditched," the woman said of the cancelled plans A woman is on the verge of giving up on seeing her friends after their previous plans were canceled on more than one occasion. In a post shared on the U.K.-based parenting forum Mumsnet, the woman explained that she and two friends have been trying to plan a "wine and food night" together for weeks, but they've been forced to reschedule every single time so far. "We all have young children but managed to book in a date," the woman explained, adding that they decided the best place to host their small gathering was at her house. According to the woman, their group's plans were all set, her toddler would be in bed by 6:30 p.m. and her partner planned to meet a friend. However, she then received a text from her friend asking to reschedule. "On the day, friend messages around 12ish to ask if we can rearrange as she's not well. Fine. Sat in with [takeout] for one," the woman said. "The next day, however, she mentioned how her family had gone for a late lunch with other friends (on the day she canceled)." The Mumsnet user thought the cancellation was "a bit odd," but the trio locked in a new date to hang out regardless. As the next hangout date approached, the woman cleaned up her house again, purchased plenty of food and wine and her partner arranged to go out once more — before the friend suddenly canceled again, saying that she had accidentally double-booked. "Around 12 p.m., we get a message to say she has double booked, her partner forgot to mention his friend is staying over and would now be rude to head out for the evening," she recalled, adding that the friend immediately asked to rearrange their plans again. "She then messages to say they have tickets to an event now in the afternoon and excited to head back for food, games and drinks with her [partner's] friend for the evening and worried about [getting a] hangover," the woman continued of her friend. "Me and other friend aren't as close, so it doesn't really work for us two to carry on to be honest, and she didn't seem keen in the group message." The woman shared that she felt she had been "ditched" two nights in a row, especially considering her partner had gone out both nights as well. "I turned down other plans for today that came up a while ago!" she said, before turning a question over to the online community to answer. "[Am I being unreasonable] to not rearrange again?" she finished. "Is that petty?" Very quickly, the large Mumsnet community decided the original poster was entirely in the right to not want to reschedule, as she had changed her own family's plans multiple times to try and accommodate this friend. "That would p--- me right off," one commenter said. "She wants it, but you are having to host and clean your house for it to happen! If she suggests it again, say, 'OK — we'll come to you, as you're organizing it.'" "I can't bloody stand these people who consider every plan as tentative until the day of," another reply stated. "I'd tell her she's welcome to plan and host the next one, and you look forward to attending. And if you get a better offer in the meantime, ditch her with a clear conscience!" Friends Alice Carr and Kallie Weaver were excited but very nervous, noting how impressive Spain had been in this tournament. "They keep the ball really well." Said Kallie. "I think we'll win in the end, I have faith in them." Added Alice. Viral England super fan Andy Milne was also there, and he was caught in two minds. 'I'm a bit nervous, we don't start games very well and Spain are very good. I'd say 1-0 England, but my real prediction is probably 4-0 Spain.' In the end, Andy needn't be so pessimistic, in what was a tense battle, Spain took the lead through Mariona Caldentey in the first half, and England equalised with a Alessio Russo header in the second half. With nothing to separate them in extra time, the game went to penalties, where super sub Chloe Kelly slotted in a historic penalty that saw England become European Champions. Freight Island erupted with delight, with cheers that seemed to go on for an eternity before they sang Sweet Caroline at the top of their lungs.
