A man has been charged with murder after another man was found stabbed to death at a home in southwest Sydney.
The body, believed to be that of a 29-year-old man, was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck on Kembla St, Croydon Park, at about 5 pm on Monday.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to hospital for assessment.
He has since been discharged and was taken to a police station on Tuesday, where he was charged with murder.
The man was refused bail and will appear before Burwood Local Court later that same day.
Police are appealing for assistance in finding a second man who they believe can help with their investigation.
The man is described as being Asian in appearance and was last seen on Kembla St, Croydon Park, on Monday afternoon.
Pictures of the man have been released, showing him wearing a black jumper with red symbols on the back, blue jeans, black shoes, a black hat, and carrying a black satchel.
Superintendent Christine McDonald described the incident as a gruesome crime, adding that the victim's injuries were horrific.
She said the stabbing is not believed to be domestic or gang-related, with police treating the incident as a drug deal gone wrong.
Anyone with information about the second man or the incident has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Erin Patterson live trial updates: Accused mushroom killer's admission, evidence over beef Wellington lunch
Accused triple murderer Erin Patterson will give her final defence evidence on Thursday before being cross-examined by the prosecution over her deadly, mushroom-laced, fatal beef Wellington lunch. Scroll down for the latest updates, live from inside the courtroom of Erin Patterson's triple murder trial. A power issue at the Morwell court in regional Victoria has delayed this morning's proceedings. It is understood this has been resolved and the trial will resume shortly. Erin Patterson has told the court how she disposed of her food dehydrator at a tip as she feared her children would be taken away from her, as authorities circled following the death cap mushroom-laced lunch. Ms Patterson claimed the majority of mushrooms in her beef Wellington were from a local Woolworths in Leongatha; however, after tasting her 'bland' mix, she added dried mushrooms from a container in her pantry. The accused told the court how that container could have included mushrooms she had picked and dehydrated during her 'experiments', or potentially 'pungent' mushrooms she bought from a mystery Asian grocer in Melbourne. While she was in hospital after the lunch, Ms Patterson told the court how her ex-partner, Simon Patterson, asked her point blank: 'Is that how you poisoned my parents? Using that dehydrator?' Read the full story on Erin Patterson's evidence so far. Accused triple murderer Erin Patterson will on Thursday give her final evidence as a witness for the defence. After that, the alleged killer cook will face cross-examination from the prosecution. Ms Patterson denies intentionally killing her ex-partner Simon Patterson's family with death cap mushrooms that were inside a fatal beef Wellington lunch. Don and Gail Peterson, and Heather Wilkinson died following the lunch, with sole-surviving lunch guest, Ian Wilkinson, watching on as the accused gives evidence at the Victorian Supreme Court trial in Morwell. Ms Patterson returns to the witness box at 10.30am AEST Thursday.

Daughter's tribute to Luke Jon Telega after body found in bin, as police seek potential witnesses
The daughter of a man whose body was discovered inside an industrial-sized bin has paid tribute to her father, as police make a fresh appeal to the public. Luke Jon Telega, 45, was found by a garbage contractor behind shops on Percy St at Bellerive, in greater Hobart, about 9am on Monday. Telega was last seen by family at 10pm on Saturday. The ongoing investigation is exploring whether he met with foul play or misadventure during the significant gap between then and his discovery. An autopsy showed no visible signs of injury. Police have now appealed for two potential who they think might have information to come forward, in a fresh appeal to the public. The women were spotted on CCTV in the area on Sunday night. One of the women was seen standing outside a shopfront on Percy St at 7.50pm. She may have spoken with someone on the street and was seen driving what is believed to be a light-coloured Toyota Prado. The second woman was also seen on Percy St a short time later at 8.05pm. She was driving a red SUV. The bin where Telega was found sits behind a Salvation Army outlet and is known to be frequented by people sleeping rough, Tasmania Police Detective Inspector David Gill said on Tuesday. It is unclear if Telega had been sleeping in the bin. When his body was discovered, the garbage contractor told police he initially believed it was a mannequin. 'Until we meet again, Dad' Police are still urging anyone who was in the area, especially on Sunday, to contact Crime Stoppers. Telega's daughter Harmony Telega said she and her father were not in contact recently but shared a heartfelt tribute on social media. 'Rest easy Dad. I know we weren't on speaking terms when you left this world. It was hard seeing you the way you were. You were the best father I could've ever asked for, my best friend,' Harmony said. 'You helped me when I needed it with no questions asked, you were always happy to spend time with me for no reason. 'I will always be forever grateful for you, I love you so, so much. I will forever pick you to be my father in every lifetime. Until we meet again, Dad.' Now she and her family grapple to gather funds to lay Telega to rest. 'Harmony and her family would like to give Luke the send-off he deserves but as funds are tight this isn't an option,' family friend Lily Hurst wrote in a GoFundMe. Hurst called it a 'tragic, stressful time' for the family.
