Call Her Daddy fallout? Alix Earle subtly shades Alex Cooper: ‘I have so much information'

Indian Express5 days ago
Alix Earle and Alex Cooper have long been rumoured to be feuding after what started as a promising partnership between the two internet stars fell apart. Fans have since been convinced that things aren't as smooth as they seem, and now, Earle might've just confirmed that with her recent comments and social media activity. The fallout reportedly began in 2023 when her podcast Hot Mess was suddenly dropped by Cooper's media company, Unwell Network. So where does the friendship stand now?
Alix Earle recently dropped a cryptic TikTok that fanned the flames. In the short clip, she referred to her astrology app and said, 'My Co–Star told me that I can start sh–t today, it told me.' Giving a thumbs up to the app, she added, 'I mean, is this the moment I've been waiting for? I have so much information. We could go.' Even though she hesitated a bit before following the app's revenge cue, she still threw shade. When someone in the comments asked, 'What happened with Alex Cooper?' Alix asked, 'How much time do you have?'

The tension goes back to earlier this year, when plans to launch Hot Mess, where Earle wanted to give a 'weekly recap of her life revealing all the in-depth, exclusive details that have everyone watching, talking, and wanting more' were scrapped by Cooper's media network. Cooper, known for Call Her Daddy, had signed Earle as her first big name when she launched the Unwell Network in August 2023. At the time, the duo were nearly inseparable, attending events together, posting each other on socials, and promoting their gigs side by side. But by early 2024, fans noticed everything had suddenly vanished. Earle even skipped Unwell's Super Bowl party, despite being in New Orleans. Then came the news: Hot Mess was no longer part of Unwell.

At the time, multiple sources told Us Weekly that the two 'clashed over business.' One insider said the drama and tension had been brewing for a while and that it ended their friendship for good. Another source revealed that Earle's dad, TJ, who also acts as her manager, wasn't happy with how Unwell was handling her career. According to the insider, 'Alix is working on bigger projects not related to the podcast space. Alix's dad got more involved in her business decisions and did not like what Unwell was doing. He ultimately thought it ended up not being a smart business move.'
She later quietly pulled back from Hot Mess for a bit, but has since changed her focus to vlogs and YouTube content. She's still doing brand deals and seems to be keeping things moving with or without Cooper.

Trump Breaks Silence On Sydney Sweeney's AE Ad: 'If She's Republican, I Love It...' Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle ad had already stirred debate over its 'great genes' wordplay, but now, her confirmed Republican voter registration has added a political twist. According to The Guardian, Sweeney registered GOP in Florida just months before Donald Trump returned to the White House. Reacting to the news, Trump praised the actress, saying, 'If she's Republican, her ad is fantastic.' The denim campaign had faced backlash for being tone-deaf and promoting outdated beauty ideals. This isn't Sweeney's first brush with controversy, her 2022 family party photos featuring MAGA hats sparked similar heat. She later asked fans to 'stop making assumptions' about her views. American Eagle has defended the ad, stating it was always about 'her jeans, her story.' Now, with Trump's public support, the cultural divide around Sweeney's image only deepens. 3.1K views | 2 days ago

Piers Morgan accuses Beyonce of ‘appropriating' Marilyn Monroe in Levi's ad amid Sydney Sweeney row

After Sydney Sweeney's recent American Eagle campaign sparked debate, another ad is now making headlines - this time featuring Beyoncé. The music icon has found herself at the center of controversy over her new Levi's advertisement, which pays visual homage to Marilyn Monroe's signature 1950s glam. Beyoncé's Levi's ad campaign draws backlash from journalist Piers Morgan, calls it 'cultural appropriation'.(AP) British journalist Piers Morgan led the criticism, accusing the singer of cultural appropriation. 'Very disappointed to see Beyoncé culturally appropriate Marilyn Monroe in her new Levi's ad,' Morgan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Marilyn reimagined - or misappropriated? The Levi's campaign shows Beyoncé styled with platinum blonde curls, winged eyeliner, and red lipstick - clearly channeling Monroe's old Hollywood aesthetic, particularly her look from films like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. While some fans praised the visuals, others accused Beyoncé of stepping into a space that wasn't hers to claim - claiming that this was an attempt to 'look more white' or imitate a cultural icon from a different era and identity. Online backlash The ad drew intense reactions on social media, with comments flooding Levi's page. Some reactions were bluntly negative, like 'NO LEVI'S this looks soooo cheap' and 'Sydney Sweeney did it better. Beyoncé is culture appropriation but y'all won't admit it.' Another comment even took a direct jab at American Eagle, writing: 'HOTTEST IN THE GAME AMERICAN EAGLE COULD NEVERRR.' Morgan's tweet itself received a wave of mixed reactions, with many users pushing back against his accusation. Some dismissed his criticism as racially charged, with one commenter writing, 'Admit you hate Black people. No wonder you hate Meghan.' Others sarcastically remarked, 'Maybe you haven't heard. She identifies as 'white' now,' while one quipped, 'That's white culture, Beyoncé, and we want it back!' 'Marilyn Monroe had blonde hair which means… Black people can't put on wigs? Is that really the argument?' asked one user. Another added, 'Emulating her aesthetic is no more 'cultural appropriation' than a British man dressing like James Dean. Beyoncé channeling Monroe is an homage - something white celebrities have done with Black icons for decades without critique. The selective outrage reeks of double standards.' Beyoncé remains chill As of now, neither Beyoncé nor Levi's have issued statements addressing the backlash. The singer has previously faced scrutiny for artistic decisions - most notably during the release of her 2022 album Renaissance - but has largely remained unapologetic in her creative direction. Whether the current campaign will be adjusted or pulled remains to be seen.

"I can't stand her (HATE!)...": Times when Donald Trump expressed discontent over Taylor Swift

Donald J Trump has his guns pointed again – and not at policies or establishments – at none other than Taylor Swift . The President of the United States rekindled his hate for the billionaire singer in a social media post, stunning the entire social media. While he took the sharp jab at the celebrity, he also appreciated the 'registered Republican,' Sydney Sweeney . However, August 4 doesn't mark the only time he expressed his discontent over Swift; it's more than one could recall off. Donald Trump expressed his opinions on Taylor Swift The 79-year-old shared a post on his Truth Social handle in support of Sydney Sweeney, who has been making headlines for her controversial ad about 'jeans' and 'genes.' Meanwhile, in an unprecedented move, he said, 'Just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can't stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT. The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be. " Donald Trump hates... Earlier this year, Trump took multiple jibes at Taylor, where he claimed that she is no longer alluring after he declared that he hates her. 'Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she's no longer 'HOT?', he said in his post on May 16, 2025. Previously, the President mocked her for getting booed at the packed football game, where she went to cheer her boyfriend, and her presence was constantly shown on the screens. In a post shared on February 9, 2025, he said, 'She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!' About Taylor Swift and her firm beliefs The first time she ever commented on politics and her values was in 2018, when she asked her Tennessee fans not to vote for Republican Marsha Blackburn, whom she called 'Trump in a wig' in her 'Miss Americana' documentary. As a response, he said, 'Let's just say I like Taylor's music about 25% less now, okay?' to the reporters, according to Billboard. Since then, Taylor Swift has openly criticised Trump's policies, urging her millions of American fans not to vote for the Republican. During the 2024 elections, she posted about voting for the Democrat Kamala Harris and received tremendous backlash from Trump's supporters.
