CAROL McGiffin has blasted Loose Women again as she revealed its strict wardrobe rules - and slammed ITV bosses amid budget cuts.
The broadcaster, 65, officially left the ITV Daytime show in 2023 following a contract dispute.

While she's still pals with her former co-stars, she hasn't got many good things to say about the higher ups.
Taking a swipe at her former employers, Carol wrote in her Best magazine column: "If those in charge had spent less time obsessing over wardrobe policy and allowed presenters to be themselves, allowing them to say what they think rather than what they wanted them to think, they might not be losing 200+ jobs."
She went on: "TV bosses, in my experience, love telling their 'on-screen talent' what to wear, as well as what to say.
"I did Loose Women for almost 20 years and the mandated dress codes used to exhaust me."
Carol, who first appeared on the series in 2000 before she quit in 2023, said one fleeting rule they enforced was a ban on bare arms being shown on screen.
She said: "We went from wearing our own clothes to being bought stuff to adhere to ludicrous wardrobe policies like 'no arms on show' ...
"Presumably because our ageing biceps were morphing into bingo wings which the (male) boss at the time had decided were offensive.
"Another female(!) boss once ordered all the women to wear high heels as well.
"I always loathed being 'dressed' or 'styled' as they preferred to call it.
"You always had to be coordinated up to the eyeballs in nice slacks, wrap dresses or boiler suits."

She continued: "It used to make me shudder, nearly as much as the insane amount of waste on unimaginable amounts of clothes that had mostly only been worn once."
Carol sparked a feud with bosses when she left the show, making multiple rebukes including slamming the series for 'shoving woke news down viewers' throats'.
It comes as ITV announced redundancies across its Daytime TV shows.
More than 220 jobs will be lost as part of the shake-up — almost half of the 450 employed on the four flagship shows GMB, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women.
The reshuffle comes amid a desperate cost-cutting drive at the broadcaster, and follows changes already made to its soaps.

Wynne Evans says Strictly controversy took him into ‘darkest spot' of his life
The Welsh tenor, 53, known for the GoCompare insurance advertisements, competed in the recent series of the BBC dancing programme alongside professional Katya Jones. Evans recently announced that he had been dropped by the BBC and will no longer present on BBC Radio Wales following an apology saying that he used 'inappropriate language' during the launch of the Strictly Come Dancing tour. The apology came after the Mail On Sunday reported in January that he aimed a sexual joke at one of the other professional dancers, Janette Manrara. Speaking on ITV's This Morning, he claimed the story was taken out of context and that he was talking to fellow contestant, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, who he gave the nickname 'old spit roast boy' to. He said: 'I used to call him this because he could contort his legs over his head. 'I didn't know there was a reporter still there, recording, apparently, on their phone. 'Even though I'm looking at Jamie, they claim that I'm directing this word at Janette. And it's totally been taken out of context. 'When I saw the narrative in the newspaper, I was just shocked and horrified.' He added that the nickname was 'unsuitable' and 'inappropriate' and claims that he was misrepresented. This comes after Borthwick was suspended from the BBC when a video emerged of the actor using a disabled slur on the set of the dance programme. Evans added that he never approved of the statement that was issued by the BBC in January where he apologised for making an 'inappropriate and unacceptable' comment. He said: 'They didn't run it by me. They sent it off to the newspaper. They printed that as my apology. And, of course, then it looks like I validated the story.' A BBC spokesperson said: 'The apology issued on Wynne's behalf by the Strictly Come Dancing Tour PR representative on Saturday January 25 was fully approved by Wynne.' While recounting the controversy, he got visibly emotional and said that he wanted to end his life. He said: 'I've had clinical depression since 2016, diagnosed. It took me into the darkest spot of my life. 'I was at my lowest ebb. I wanted to end my life. I would have if I hadn't been surrounded by people. 'At one point one of the newspapers was so relentless, I remember saying to my girlfriend, I have to kill myself, I have to, because this is what they want.' He added that he was under the crisis team for a month with his family, friends and girlfriend on a rota to be with him 24 hours a day. Coronation Street star reacts to major show change and teases 'exciting' twists
Coronation Street's Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaney has had her say on the schedule shake-up set to come into effect on the ITV soap in 2026, and she also teased the 65th anniversary One Coronation Street favourite has revealed all on a major change coming for the ITV soap. She also teased some "exciting" moments ahead, a possible romance for her character and hinted at the soap's 65th anniversary later this year. Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaney spoke exclusively to The Mirror about what was coming on the show for her character and others. She addressed hopes from fans for Amy and close pal Aadi Alahan to finally get together, after a near romance months earlier. When asked about the Emmerdale crossover, she promised fans it would be "unreal" while she also teased "exciting" 65th anniversary episodes later in the year. While Elle is yet to find out much of what's ahead, the stuff she does know will be kept under wraps for the time being. But it's safe to say there's good stuff ahead for Amy, while the actress did have her say on the news that from January 2026, the show will be on every night and will transmit shorter episodes. Some viewers had been worried about the news, but Elle says it's a good change-up as she recalled it was this way not too long ago. She told us: "I think it's exciting. Obviously we used to be five episodes not massively long ago so I don't think it is gonna be that different. "I almost feel like viewers will be getting more in a way because it will be on every single night. It's just a big change isn't it." Elle also shared her thoughts on the crossover, hoping to be involved as Corrie and Emmerdale unite. She said: "Oh my God, we are absolutely ecstatic about it. We cannot wait to know about it all, it's gonna be unreal. If you are a fan of both shows then this is a dream come true. "I mean hopefully I'll be involved. We will have to wait and see! You have got to remember that we both have got such massive casts so it will be a case of how many people can you fit into one episode, but we'll see! Hopefully I'm in it." She also remained coy about what she did or didn't know about the looming celebrations for the show's 65th, while one cast member teased the focus would mainly be on the crossover. Elle told us: "I'm excited to find out the details but I can't say anything!" Finally, Elle teased that things may be revisited for Amy and Aadi after their near-romance and their clear feelings for one another. She hinted: "For Amy we will definitely see more family things going on ahead, with the dynamics changing with both her parents having split again. "There is all of that going on and in Amy's love life, we might see some changes there so there's definitely a lot to come up." She added when asked about Aadi: "That's it, I think it will be a will they won't they situation but you will have to watch and see!"
