Uorfi Javed Reveals How She Met Her Boyfriend: ‘Uski Shaadi Ki Baat Chal Rahi Thi'
Last Updated: Uorfi Javed opened up about dating a Delhi-based man, revealing that she flies almost every weekend to meet him. Reality star Uorfi Javed recently confirmed she is in a relationship with her Delhi-based boyfriend, and that she makes frequent weekend trips to visit him. She mentioned that he is very shy, doesn't have any Instagram posts, and prefers to stay away from the social scene, unlike her, who loves socialising. She also revealed how they first met at a time when he was in talks for an arranged marriage elsewhere. Although nothing was finalized, she joked that she ended that match after they met. In a chat with Mashable India, Uorfi said that her boyfriend is 6'4". When asked about her long-distance relationship, she stated that the distance isn't much since it's just a two-hour flight, and she visits him every weekend. She humorously noted that if paparazzi appear there, he would run away. 'I didn't go this weekend because I just got back. I had stayed there for a week, so I skipped this weekend. But mostly, I'm there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I come back on Monday. There's no paparazzi scene in Delhi — that really bothers me. Someone bring the paps there, please! But then he'll run away. He won't even step out with me. He doesn't like all this. He's very, very shy. He has zero posts on Instagram. His digital footprint is nothing. And mine is huge," she said. Uorfi Javed On Her First Meeting With Her Boyfriend She explained that they met by chance, adding that he was earlier considering an arranged marriage. 'We just happened to be at the same place at the same time," she said. She further added, 'Coincidentally kahi mil gayi thi. We just happened to be at a place at the same time. Uski shaadi ki baat kahi aur chal rahi thi, arrange marriage. Maine shaadi tudva di uski. But uska kuch final nahi hua tha, vo bas milne gaya tha. (We met completely by coincidence. He was involved in talks for an arranged marriage elsewhere. I ended that marriage proposal. But nothing was finalized; he had just gone to meet the girl)." Recently, Uorfi caught attention for her candidness in a video showing her extremely swollen lips after dissolving lip fillers she had for nine years. While some mocked her, many praised her for being genuine and accepting her unfiltered self. Uorfi won the first season of Karan Johar-hosted reality show The Traitors alongside Nikita Luther, and they both took home Rs 70 lakh in prize money.
